I have helped with many harvests in my time. Got a call from a friend whose neighbor was in the hospital and I said tell me when and where and I’ll be there. I showed up and they threw me in a combine and I was cutting all day and into the night. Got done with the last field at 3 in the morning and stayed till 10 hauling grain then went home and slept and then did it again.

The Amish do this all the time just because that's what they do.

I'm sorry for his loss and I'm glad the Community came together. But what did he do before she passed away? How did he handle everything? I'm sure he and his wife did not do all the stuff. I'm sure the kids helped out.

And some call these "fly over states" when they are the heart and soul of the country.
