The best thing about any farming community is that when a neighbor needs help there is no hesitation from others to jump right in it’s been that way since the beginning of time

I wanna thank all of the people that helped this family. It’s sad to have a child pass away at such a young age. I love seeing the farming community come together and grow with each other just by helping out when needed!!!! RIP Dillon.

Full service Cole is when they do everything for you. I'm just old enough to remember Full Service Gas Stations ⛽️. I think it was great that you, Daddy Cornstar, you brother and your neighbors all pitched in to help out your neighbor. There are good Christians still out there!

As a young teen My friend and I worked with her dad that owned a Service Station. That is what gas stations were called back in the day. In the 90's I used to only fill my gas tank on ladies day as it was the one day a week that the local gas station gave ladies full service. That included filling the tank checking the oil, air the tires and wash the windshield. Full Service was great and it gave people jobs.

So sorry for the neighbor's young son. No parent should have to bury a child. It's good to see you al pull together for the family and take care of them. I know that helped them a lot. One less worry for them. I'm at the age to remember full service stations. You pulled up you told them how much gas you wanted. They wash your window check your oil. At that time the oil was in glass with a funnel on it. Then it was in cans and they push the funnel in and pore it in. I always love the change machine on their belts.

Cole, thank you for documenting the life of a farmer. I have been married to a farmer's daughter for 13 years now, but I've never asked my in-laws about their business, both the "business" of it and the logistics of it. I felt, as a suburban kid, I had no business asking them about their business. I always felt in the way. The last week or so that I've watched your channel, I have a new found deep respect for what they do and what you do. Again, thank you a ton. You keep making them, I'll keep watching.

This is the farming community. Always has been. Farming and growing up in the 70s and 80s the community would always pull together for any of its members that needed help. Harvest was a family affair that included many families with all the women cooking and feeding the crews, all the farmers and hired help putting in long hours for many weeks. I definitely miss that life for sure. I'm glad to see that it hasn't changed a bit even though the rest of the world has gone crazy. Awesome video Cole, keep up the great work.
