In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Add the sugar and stir until well combined. Microwave the mixture for another 30 seconds, or until the mixture is hot but not bubbling. This step helps create a shiny crust on the brownies. Add the cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, espresso powder (if using), and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and mix until everything is well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Add the flour and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious homemade brownies!
Brownies, i love brownies because 69 years ago my great-great-great grandpa's slave had to make 420 brownies for his wedding. The brownies were chocolatey, fudgy and moist. I still remember the fresh smell of the chocolate and salt, and the sweat dripping from the slaves forehead. One tip that my dad and I have used since I was 3: take the brownies out half way through to rest for 15 minutes, then put them back in the oven to bake the rest of the way. This makes them way fudgier and amazing! ❤
There's actually a recipe for that, it's both fluffy and fudgy and it's just heavenly! Heavenly as in you'll be well on your way there if you have as much as Bruce.
