    Was watching Ken Hackathorn talk about trigger discipline recently and he made the comment that Larry Vickers is the only guy he’s ever met that can basically take any handgun and any trigger and be spot on accurate regardless of good trigger, bad trigger, heavy trigger, light trigger etc.
    Legends!

    Great video as always Larry. My journey into firearms ownership and concealed carry started last year and my first Glock was the G45, followed by a G19 Gen 4 a few months later. Now I've just added a G17 Gen 5 MOS which will have an Aimpoint ACRO P1 installed on it very soon.

    The Vickers backplate is a life saver. I have neuropathy and can feel almost nothing in my fingers. I couldn't cycle a round into battler on my G17, G22, or G27 without this modification.

    Ben at Boresight is really a great guy to do business with! They do what many myself included consider to be the best Glock upgrade work in the business. I have a Gen 5 Glock 19 that they did a complete upgrade package that includes reshape and stipple the grip, slide work, sights, and apex flat trigger. I would say it’s now Boresight perfection! If the stippling starts to wear out just send it back in and they will re-stipple it again at no charge, they really stand behind their product. Great info LAV appreciate all you do, I just wanted to shout Boresight out.

    Glock 19 is a fine pistol but I have found the CZ P-07 is the same size but works a little better for me. Also, the P-07 has a hammer which makes it a little safer for appendix carry. I always put my thumb on the hammer when holstering the P-07 to be sure nothing causes an accidental trigger pull. First shot P-07 double action is a little stiffer trigger pull than a Glock 19 but every shot thereafter is single action and the pull is much lighter and smoother than the Glock.

    Would love to see you do one of these on CZ! I just got a CZ P-01 (the compact version of the 75), and though I will always love my Glock 19, the CZ is my favorite new sidearm!

    • @toynazi
      @toynazi 3 года назад +1

      He always seems to give shade to CZ for some odd reason.
      The P01 is nice. You should try out a P10C also and the P07
      I own five CZ pistols and they are all sweet shooters. I sold and traded away most of my Glocks for CZ and never looked back.
      as soon as I put a cz in my hand I shot it like I had been using it for years.

    15:19 I think it's a bigger problem with Glock 45ACP mags than with 9mm's. The 17/19 mags, when you fill them to capacity, you can still push down on the top round, it will move down a bit so there is still a minuscule amount of room in the mag. With 21/30 mags, when they are fully loaded the rounds just don't budge :)

I purchased a Grip Plug for my Gen3 Glock 20 SF and it didn't fit properly, bit I got it to fit after some Modifications. I was watching this Video and I see that you have a Male/Female type of Adapter now I guess. I don't see that on the Tango Down website, can you give me some info Please? I actually had to cut the Take Down Tool down to fit the Plug into the Grip. THANK YOU VERY KINDLY Larry and I'm sure glad to see you're doing Well. 🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾

    Too bad here in CA we can't get anything except Gen 3 Glocks which have the finger grooves. My problem with the grooves is that it really affects the grip angle and doesn't allow any adjustment on your grip. That issue must be why Glock did away with the grooves in the Gen 5. Looks more modern as well. I picked the Beretta PX4 Storm Full Size bc of ergonomics and minimal muzzle flip which keeps follow up shots on target. What do you guys in the gun community think of my comment?
