- Researchers with AHS and the University of Calgary are working on a project that could one day ensure that children who are on ADHD medication are performing up to their academic potential.

Mira Mikulka boys are more likely to have hyperactive adhd, while girls innatentive. Since boys normally show it more through hyperactivity it is more likely to be spotted in boys. That can be a struggle for girls because normally people associate adhd in extreme energy but that isn’t the case. They are equally prone to have adhd but it normally goes under diagnosed in girls

does adhd affect my anger? i’m just curious because i use to have meltdowns in school such as flip my desk ect, but now i just yell and get mad. i’m not thinking it just happens and idk if it’s something else or my adhd (edit: i take meds for my anger and hyperactivity)

Adderall is usually prescribed to adults with adhd. I have patients 18-60 yrs old with adhd and are on meds. (Most of them are very successful)

ADHD is very real. If it is not treated correctly, it can very negatively affect a person's life. In fact, people that leave their ADHD untreated are actually more likely to suffer from drug and alcohol addictions.

ADHD is a fake diagnosis. The man who created it admitted to creating it to bring money to the pharmaceutical industry.

That’s not true I have adhd and I’m 12. It’s so hard, I constantly can’t focus and if I try to do work I can’t cause my brain doesn’t focus at that point
