Great tutorial! You have a good voice and clear diction and a good flow throughout the tutorial. There are not that many tutorials for Mixer out there and you could be one of the pioneers to continue this into a regular course, especially when they release the full-on 3D painting version. I expect that version will be feature-rich with content and techniques for future tutorials.
PukkaFactor Thank you very much for your kind words. They mean so much to me as a growing creator! I will definitely continue to follow the development of Quixel Mixer. Future tutorials could definitely be happening on this topic down the line!

Hello. I have a problem with exporting to library button in mixer 2020. It's simply greyed out, and I cannot use it anyhow. I assigned some newly created folder on my hard drive as local library path in mixer and bridge. But it still doesn't seem to get that button working.. how to fix it?
@@SadTown99 $150 is not unreasonable for what it gives you. Mixer is not product ready and lacks many many features to make it ready. Mixel tries to act like substance, designer and alchemist. While giving a lot of variety it doesn’t excel at any of those three.
Just curious, do you change any settings to make it high resolution in the viewport? It looks like a 500 or less pixel resolution in my viewport and the settings are at 2K
I find UV unwrapping parts correctly for Quixel the hardest. Not once have I managed to import a custom model correctly... A tutorial would be very nice
Hirk DeKnirk Hey, I don’t think that’s available right now. That being said, Quixel is updating Mixer pretty heavily this next year. Currently its main purpose is to supplement Quixel Megascans not replace Substance. They’re going to have to introduce those tools soon though. They’re getting lots of attention
But...so...Mixer is only really really useful when you have the epic games subscription right? Cause aside from that you only have the 50 or so base materials and no decals
Timur Dzhambinov Well based on the license, you can use it in blender as long as the main final product is an unreal project. Interpret that how you will (:
@@timur7381 I personally asked them on their forums, and they replied this: 'Mixer is totally free for non-commercial and commercial projects.' So as long as you dont use megascans you are good to go.

Wait. I thought that mixer is free to use, as said in their website "forever" for any kind of use, not just UE. The thing that's changed since Epic bought Quixel was that megascans became free to use for UE4 users, but still can be used outside of UE as long as they create a premium account not affiliated with UE.
