    Unreal video. It is amazing that you honored your familys legacy. I really like that. My brother and I love to musky fish, one day many decades from now we hope our grandchilden fish the same big waters we fish and can make the memories we have been making for years!

    Great video, Sam. The weather can turn up there and make boat positioning and fishing a challenge but you guys found some success and had some more opportunities. When the hooks popped boat side, I thought Josh was getting that spinnerbait in the face. Close call! Hopefully you can get back up there next year to keep exploring.

    Loved it, Sam! Seeing you lose those three fish on my spinnerbait gave me some flashbacks. I started throwing on 7/0 or 8/0 partridge hooks on and it seems to be helping a lot. I’ll include some of those.

    hard to hook a bigger muskie with a spinner bait with a single hook on it. a big muskie will swallow the whole bait up to the leader. not a high hookup percentage on the set. ask me how i know!

    • @sgangling
      @sgangling  11 дней назад +1

      @andrewgoodman8161 Yeah spinner baits even with a trailer hook don't have the best hookup percentage...but they are a deadly weapon that's often overlooked
