This man deserves so much more than what he gets the amount of time and effort he put into these videos is insane. Keep it up man.
I find that some of the best RUclips fishing channels have a low number of subs compared to those more popular channels that push sales on viewers
Thank you SO SO much! Can't thank you enough for your support! Comments like this make it all worth it.
I 100% agree
Watching your videos for past few months, I now own a 16’ Starcraft with just a 70 but gets me on the water fishing and learning! Learning lots from you and Sam! Keep it up love the videos!!
I have to say from a technical point that your editing skills are nothing short of professional commercial quality (that's a compliment!). I spent just short of 20 yrs working in broadcasting in Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary before moving on to other ventures and the shots combined with the storytelling and even the addition of music on your videos is top notch!! I actually looked at a place in Machin a few years back, maybe it's time to change the scenery from the prairies to the shield? Tight lines, guys and keep your amazing videos coming!!
Thanks so much! That’s a huge compliment coming from someone of your experience. 🙏🙏
Love that Sam says the exact measurements. No BS necessary.
Great video.
You guys are lucky to have one another!
I know its said alot but you are truly underrated. So refreshing. Keep it up
🥰🥰🥰
Jay, this is some of the best cinematography in the history of RUclips! I love all these videos.
❤️❤️
Musky has been hot on my mind Jay, it's super well timed for me. excellent as usual thanks for sharing.
🙏
Yes!
🙏
My hubby introduced me to Jay & Sam today. I’ve been binging these videos for the past few hours straight! We were married in Kenora, Ont… extra cool! Hubby grew up there. Keep up these amazing vids!
That’s great!! Thanks for watching the videos!!
Normally background music ruins videos in my opinion but you have mastered it. Great stuff
I don't get out to fish like I use too, getting older too many aches and pains. I really enjoyed your fishing excursion. Great video!
So when are we going to get a Jay Siemens and Sam vs the uncut angling duo🤷🏽♂️
I’m waiting for it fam
Haha, we’ll see about that
"Oh my gudniss"
Noah Jenkins Aaron and Michelle
Hope you get a big fish and thank you for keeping up the insane work on these videos you are inspiring to me to fish more than I have ever fished before and never give up no matter what the weather or no fish we still at the end of the day time spent with family is the most important part
Unreal video !!! I fish those waters a lot and will always be one of my favourites. Thank you for posting
Such a nice area! Thanks for watching!
Thank you Jay and Sam for sharing.. What a beautiful trip..
Thanks for watching Rod!
I've watched this video many times. Nice work on the figure 8, net job and camera! Solid work boys!
Much appreciated!
Awesome video
Do you always fish in flops? Which brand and style? Lol. Fun watch. Thank you. Heading to slave lake in 40 days.
Awesome fishing!! 👍🏻😎
New bucket list destination!!!
🙏
Man... excellent cinematography! Well done! 👊👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤝
Thank you!!
Man you guys just hammered the BIG walleyes!
Awesome video jay whenever I see FILM in any of ur vids titles i know its gonna be a banger!!
🙏🙏
Jay, your feature length videos are always top notch. Keep up the great work!!
❤️❤️❤️
Jay with your filmography I’m pretty sure any big movie making company would use you. Incredible footage.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can’t say enough about these videos, other then there needs to be more! 😁.
Awesome vid Jay. I’d love to have you in the boat filming some of my catches man. What a way to highlight an already awesome memory. You are a master with that camera and editing dude.
I have to agree completely with Jamie. Awesome vid Jay.
🙏🙏🙏
Another banger of a video bud!
Just spit ballin here but I think including gangster rap and whiskey really kicks it up a notch it worked so well in the the bone saw video lol
😂😂😂
Bald Eagle in the tree on that first shot , probably a juvi
I met Aiden in college and the kid knows his fish. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy
Great video. My trip to the Weather Station got pushed to next year thanks to covid. What were you using for the lakers? Only lake trout I've ever caught came off a bucktail, in 18 FOW, in July, on the lower Manitou.
Love it!
🙏❤️👍
14:58 that’s why we love Sam 😂😂😂.
You need to walleye fish here for your next clay vs jay and go for lbs
Maybe!
Haha !!! My Stomping grounds !!!!
Nice!
Aden has a sick hat, I know it's super trivial but any chance you could tell me where I could get one?
I’d shoot Aiden a message on Instagram. He’s tagged in my latest post.
You're a super cool dude for letting me know that! Much appreciated.
you don't catch musky, musky catch you.
The time lapse from the drone🤢 i need jay siemens film school
What reel and rod do you recommend for new musky fisherman
So restrictions between Manitoba , and Ontario is lifted ?
Both locations are in NW Ontario no restrictions on that, unless I am mistaken.
I live in Ontario
where in Ontario is this^
Manitou Weather Station Lodge, check it out!
i look at all of those walleye and my mouth waters uncontrollably. walleye is one of the best tasting foods in the cosmos. take some of them and EAT them...otherwise they'll overpopulate and you'll be stuck with a bunch of smaller fish...
here's the question. when i was growing up, the poundage, rather than length, was the important thing. it indicated the health of the fish- a fat fish is a healthy fish, a skinny fish, even if it's long, isn't all that...what changed???
woof, smoked lake trout...deeeeliciouso
Do they rent boats there as well?
Yup! And they will pick you up from the landing.
Headed to the 1'000 islands this year, but this place is getting booked for sure.
I cant believe you still use a uni to uni knot to attach your leader. That is not a good knot. The Crazy Alberto knot is faster and easier to tie and at least 40 % stronger, I also can't understand why you would fish for Walleye and let them go. the only reason to fish for walleys is if you want to eat them because they have all the fight of an old boot sock. I would be chasing Pike and Muskies 100% of the time if I was able to go to a spot like that.
🤯🐟🤯🐠🤯🐋🤯🐟🤯🐠🤯🐋
The emotion in these films you've been making makes them special. What an epic musky moment. Awesome job man !
🙏🙏🙏
This really is true.
Who else presses like before they even watch jays vids?
🤗
Nothing gets me more pumped then Jay Siemens FILMS👌👍😍😍
❤️❤️
Makes me want to come to Canada even more after watching this 🏴🇨🇦
Canada's pretty awesome. 😳👉👈
Come!
Jay! You have fans from Russia! We always watch your wonderful videos. We wish you health and happiness to your family.
in 98, I caught a 46 incher on the first cast of opening day in the Kawarthas...sort of like a hole in one....
i need the info on that sweet bibs and jacket you wore.... the blue camo suit i love that man lol
13:07 So cool to be able to see yourself in one of these videos (Picture on the left) First ever muskie on my fourth trip up there
That’s awesome!
Hands down the best fishing videographer and photographer I have ever seen. Another awesome video Jay I'm glad to be able to experience each one!
❤️❤️
I feel like watching a movie its so good! Love the filming and editing! Makes me wanna come to fish in Ontario!
You have better truck sense than Clayton or Arron
Idk bout that chief 😂
Cause they are the cheapest??
Haha
What a beautiful place.
I just found your channel a few days ago. Subbed right away.
Your knowledge and ability to get to the point, Sam's ability and infectious smile coupled with fantastic film making make yours the best fishing channel I've seen by far. Great energy from both of you.
Sam really slays em. Good thing ya took her advice and bailed the bobber.
Amazing location , makes me want to book there today for the family.
You should its unreal!! Very family friendly!!
I don't usually go back to the same place twice, but this place is an exception!
Crazy video! I've never looked at fishing this lake, I live 1.5 hour drive away!
I did my part to support a local guide this year, going muskie fishing with Ben Beattie on Lac Suel in September. I've never hired a guide in NW Ontario, but this year is different. Gotta show some support.
Awesome Vid Jay! I follow and watch some of our other friends with 1M+ subscribers and always interesting to compare the differences. Even follow Taro which I’ve fished a few times.
Definitely gotta say your video editing, cinematography, and narration is at a entirely another level compared to the 1+M subs. On par with paid programming I’ve watched like my fav old show “Departures”.
You really take us on the journey with nice scenic vantage points of it. Not simply going out to fish.
Keep it up, I’m sure you’ll be hitting 1M. Definitely more deserving than others I’ve seen!
Can’t wait for your next vids and journeys!
“Sam sexy and she knows it, FISH FISH!”
despite the rotundity
Great vid Jay wish I could claim to catch a walleye over 20 lol its tough in iowa😂
Amazing video Jay 🔥🔥🔥 So happy to see another film uploaded! Didn’t disappoint 👊🏼
❤️❤️❤️
those are lake Erie quality walleye
You have to admit being stuck at home in Kenora isn’t that bad. I live in the states and dream about my houseboat trip every year. You get to live there! You’re the luckiest person I know it’s been three years from this Covid crap I can’t wait to finally get to go back this year!! Chisholm island is the spot!!
Check out Lehigh fishing company custom rod manufacturer. American made 🇺🇸. Great video
GO SAM! Schooling Jay about the intricacies of walleye jigging instead of the infantile bobber approach🤣
Wow so glad I searched for pike trolling surprised this is the first time I have seen your channel Thanks for all the work ya'll do great stuff more to watch 👍👍👍👍
this video had such a unique feel.. please make some more northwestern Ontario film videos
if you want to catch a 60inch musky Jay go to minaki. talk to marina folks for musky bay. first time going to canada my buddy has a cabin on musky bay. and first thing i see pulling up to cabin in the boat. is a 60+ silver musky pink as can be laying in 2feet of water sun bathing
Sam in the bathtub... that's classic humor and great video making. Great trip with big fish. To bad the border is closed but tell all the outfittters up there if they can just hang on we'll be back just as soon as we can. That's a nice lodge. I'll have to look at their website.
Ha, got to love the bathtub on the lake!
@@JaySiemens I know if my late wife were alive I'd try and talk her into that bathtub too. Heck, on second thought, I'd join her. lol Thanks for the reply, Jay.
Here’s an idea to help save Canada’s outfitting industry: GET RID OF TRUDEAU.
Those battle scars on that 50" Muskie. Wow. What a nice fish. You should have tried nighttime trolling.
Hitting that record mark in the 8 while being filmed....how awesome is that ? I'm looking forward to fishing that neck of the woods soon !
You have by far the best videos you catch fish and your attention to detail in your video ography is amazing You need to be on TV I would absolutely love to face with you some day
❤️❤️❤️
Amazing production , great hosts !
❤️❤️❤️
Use a bullet weight on top of a swivel instead of a split shot. Crimping a split shot weakens the line for big fish.
Going to BWCA this June, so I've been binging your vids to get ideas and inspiration.
My grandson Spencer got me to watch your U tube site looking forward to meet you up on big narrows.
Can you do a video targeting lake trout on lake of the woods !😁😁
Maybe!
Manitou weather station. Probably my favourite place in the world! Great video
I can see why it’s your favorite!
ooooooooooh wow..... ooooooh wow thats a nice wall-eye... Brilliant. And Sam outfished you, dude.
This is a great video! I find myself sitting here watching it with a slight smile on my face. Everything you’re doing in this video is spot on! Excitement, education, enjoyment! Thanks Jay!
We live in Ontario and my papa has a 13 pound pickrol and he has a guise world record
As always... awesome video Jay
As always, thanks for watching 🥰
Also amazing editing on the films and videos they are perfect!
Thanks Jeremy!
Amazing video as always, hoping you get the recognition you deserve soon! Every video is 10/10, and I can actually get my lady friend to watch these videos with me when Sam is in them lol! Keep it up man
Thanks Blake! Appreciate the support 🙏🙏🙏
Anybody else predict a little Jay S walking around soon?!?!? Hmmm?
Haha, not quite yet.
wow, never a dull moment watching your vids jay. And props to Sam, She is the perfect compliment to your style. you two were made for this, together. thanks for sharing.
We all need more Sam!
Very nice vid. But man, stop nagging her what to do. 😎
Excellent video, awesome views!
Thanks so much!
Really enjoyed this one, very well done, made 43 minutes just fly by. Amazing walleye bite and what a moment to be a part of that young man's first 50 inch muskie.
Thanks for watching!!
U make unbelievable videos
❤️❤️❤️
These films are awesome Jay! What a cool way to capture a trip as amazing as this, and to top it off with a 50" is incredible
🙏🙏🙏
Dude love the videos cause you gotta love great musky content 👍👍 If anyone is ever looking for more I found a new lil channel called (All Day Grind) that I also enjoy
❤️❤️
Yes a new jay video
🙏
I'm pulling for that 55-inch musky.
I love your videos but I really wish you would show us the weights of some of those bigger fish. Sorry but I just want to know please, lol.
We don’t weigh many fish unfortunately, normally just length
I can't wait to come across the border again. We've been doing the best we can in Minnesota but, nothing compares to Canada. I'm trying to convince my wife that we need to move.
Do it!!!
Musky opener starting with the fly, love it!!
