I like your channel. It is refreshing some of the things that you show. In this world today things get covered up, glossed over, and hidden from view. As some one who identifies as a country boy most people do not know what happens between catching the fish AND putting it in the frying pan. Shouting "grab the stick" and showing what the fish look like when you bring them home is refreshing. In other videos open carrying in the back country is also a refreshing to see. Thank you.

I like that Eric was making available and using a form of fall protection, and the wear life vest. Cutting and cleaning the fish was also a favorite too. Beautiful scenery Alone. My word we inhabit a wonderful world. Those mountains? we were absolutely blown away when we travelled by vehicle through the Canadian Rockies, huge mountain ranges, each one seemed bigger than the last one. Great video to wake up too and have the first morning coffee with. Thankyou for all your work putting these videos together. Love them all. Looking forward to seeing what you have been up to back at the cabin.

Glad Eric thinks the same about Pink Himalayan salt, it is definitely saltier tasting. I thought it was just me. Lovely video too, that king salmon was HUGE! Well done for catching so much. Looking forward to the next adventure, concrete pouring. Yay!! Stay safe both of you xx

I've been to the Copper River fishing: traveled from South Louisiana. It was stormy and it rained the whole four days I was there. It was still a fun trip and we cought a lot of fish.

Another amazing fishing trip. When I first started watching it I thought oh no, they are going where the last time I was afraid you were going to fall in! This area looked a little safer than the last one. Loved how you figured how to carry the fish back up the cliff. Such a good idea.

I started out like Eric on filleting by breaking the rib bones and trimming them off, later on I finally grabbed a traditional Alaskan Ulu and taught myself to filet with that, you don't even need to break the rib bones at all, when you do it right the meat just peels off the rib bones and all the fatty belly meat is left, I always do a cold smoke and air dry afterwards all my belly meat, the oil stays better that way

We keep the backbones to barbecue with butter. Garlic, salt & pepper. You can suck the meat right off the bone and it’s delicious. We use to be able to get the salmon carcasses from spots fishermen but almost everyone keeps them now.
BTW, I usually don’t appreciate a long intro but this one was awesome!
Thanks for the video Arielle and Eric !

Here in Australia, we only see wild salmon in a tin can, or the Atlantic salmon in Tasmania is farm-bred. We follow you every week with great anticipation, and you never disappoint. Your stories and action are exciting and entertaining, especially fishing and foraging. Your cinematography is outstanding. We are very envious of your lifestyle and adventures, so living vicariously through you has made this old man and his ‘young’ wife appreciate what we have experienced in our long life. Good luck in yours, and give the dogs and cat a cuddle and a treat. For these three, are stars in their own right.

An epic film. The opening views and wildlife in mid-July made me weep due the beauty. Congratulations that the fishing was such a success at 85 pounds! Thanks for all the good information and fishing tips. Very happy that you are using a rope, tying off, wearing life vests, and using the fish backbacks ... so much safer than before your other dip fishing trips!!!
Very happy that you had a mini-vacation in the middle of all your house projects.

You are making me hungry. I live in tropical Queensland Australia. Very little of our fish comes from cold water but my favorite fish is farmed salmon from Tasmania. We have good fish here but the temps are so high that you have to ice them down so quickly that it is easy for them to spoil . Love your shows and passion, Cheers Ron.
