@@OhSjityeah, it is a bit worrisome. I do wonder if it sets up Polestar for an acquisition. Their market cap seems almost unreasonably low. My outside view is they perhaps have too many models in production which is a bit concerning. Thoughts?

This walkaround is incredible - so personable, yet elegant at the same time.
Will trade in my Polestar 2 for this soon I think. Can't wait. Also looks much better when the front logo has an halo effect as Maximilian said. Doesn't look cheap like other illuminated logos!

How will these door handles work in Sweden and other snowy/icy places? Are they heated?
Our cars have been tested in the northern parts of Sweden, and the flush door handles are designed to operate in all types of climates. Additionally, we use E-latch technology, meaning we don't rely on mechanical latches 🙌
@@PolestarCars I'm sure they have been tested, but have you actually poured water on the handles in -30C and then tried opening them with 5 mm of solid ice on top? Even if the door can electronically unlock, how are you supposed to open the door when there is nowhere to grip? This is not an unlikely situation, it will happen many times, every winter.
We're unable to comment on how exactly the flush door handles have been tested, but rest assured they've been thoroughly tested along with the rest of the car.

Rear camera, how will that work when it’s shitty weather outside? I’ve seen them be completely cover with snow and dirt on Tesla cars
With the power of design and aerodynamics. The rear-view HD camera sits in an optimal high position and is placed in a camera house that protects it, letting air, dirt, snow and rain run over it.
The Tesla cars have cameras verry low that’s why they dirty all the time. Polestar have the back rear window camera at a good hight so wont be a problem at all

Yes! With Polestar 4 you have the digital key, one remote frequency key (RFK) and one near field communication (NFC) card. When using Polestar digital key or the RFK, at approach the vehicle will be unlocked when the key is detected in 1.5 m (tolerance of ±0.1m) and at walk away the vehicle will lock at a distance of 2m.
this is the polestar I’ve been dreaming of. currently in a polestar 2 but will be upgrading here in USA.
With the fastest acceleration, and lowest climate impact of our production cars, we've been dreaming this too 🙌
I’m upgrading to P4 also. What a car!
So as a "designer" myself there are a couple things. 1. Longevity: the Roofline doesnt seem to me like, it would prohibit a normal glass-panel. The Camera is prone to problems. If it doesnt work you wont see anything. Thats not the case with a glass panels. 2. Headlights: i really like the Hammer-design, its such an identifying feature. But the upper part should have just been a line. Without the appendages in the middle. (Maybe move them down beneath, the running light. Would make the bonnet more smooth and calmer. 3 Infotainment: just give the damn user the ability to choose their own lighting (colourwheel) and profiles instead of trying to sell some "bourgeois" options like : Venus, Jungle, Ocean... You have the technology, why limit the user?
For the Video: i like the nonchalant vibe, this kinda behind-the-scenes approach. But why act like you dont know the car (i assume you worked on the car in any capacity, because you didnt mention what you worked as. - Always assume your viewer is knowing nothing - ) "bluetooth??" Like yeah thats something so new in 2024!? And the laugh while changing colours, thats normally not how people react, It just seems so forced and out of place.
And I would want to point out the low quality video, where's the 4k?

Been in 1 and 2 . Suspension is not great for Australian roads.. after a year becomes squeaky and lots of plastic noise.. I would expect these addressed in 4

I'm so torn. I already have a fantastic family SUV (new Defender) but I also want this. But I dont need this. But I can justify it by offsetting its electric prowess aganst my gas guzzler (albeit very efficient tbf).. what to do?!
This car support digital key with driving or Apple Carkey?
Yes, Polestar 4 is designed to use your phone as key. While not all phone models will be initially supported, availability will increase over time 😊

The HD camera feed has exterior side mirrors and 360° cameras around the car if failure were to occur.
What do you guys have against knees? Back seat gets plenty of space but it looks like the driver is just as cramped as my P2. Sigh. I had high hopes. Hopefully you at least add extending sun visors
What are you talking about? You can just put your seat further back. I’m 1.85m and the room in the front of the Zeekr 001 I just ordered (which is exactly this car) is wonderful. This car is MUCH bigger than a polestar 2.

Two cup holders are available for easy access under a sliding cover, separate from the armrest! 🙌

Not gonna lie PoleStar - this is the first car that makes me consider trading in my Model 3 Performance - especially if it’s gonna be on NACS!

So when Maximilian made a video on Polestar 3, I regretting getting a Polestar 4. And now he made a video with Polestar 4, I am so glad I didn't wait for a 3. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Touchscreen have some delay, not as fast as lets say flagship Samsung or iPhone. For that price of car you could have done it better.

I like the Polestar models, but I'm still waiting for something similar to the XC70... AWD, big wagon and 1000km of trip per day.
