saw satriani live at the Atlanta symphony hall a few months ago and had my face melted off. the entire band is amazing.
I haven't always been a fan of shred but Joe is truly a phenomenal musician.

Marco Minnemann, one of the greatest drummers in the world... The best Satriani's ever played with, for sure ;) check out his other band, The Aristocrats, this bassist (Bryan Beller) plays with The Aristocrats too... They are truly amazing!
Marco Minnemann.. and he comes from my hometown Hannover, Germany!
Now he has a studio in the town I come from, 'Imperial Beach, California'. Absolutely one of the very very best.

Might well be. Amazing (to me anyway!) to think that he's nearing 60yrs and he's been playing this live for nearly half his life but there's still so much energy and passion in every note. Go Satch go!
