This electric skateboard (in my opinion, more of a longboard) is basically just a mars rover. It has independent suspension and a lot of cool things about it. Check it out! Probably my last E-Skateboard/E-Longboard test though haha

I totally understand your PTSD with regards to long boards. That being said I'm super stoked they sent you this board. I know you wanted to get away from so many product reviews but this thing is awesome. I will be letting them know I saw your video and they need to get these things to mass production and maybe working on meeting those top speed claims.... It was invented by BMW with actual parts off the 5 series. Its called the BMW Sreet Carver

@@cjsantos766 I also had a Chinese one that was powered that was made of aluminium 10 years ago. It had lead acid battery’s and a 250w brushed motor.

The trucks design looks like a copy from BMW 2003 skateboard which they sold at their car dealerships for a limited time. If you search it up on YT there are a few vids out there.

I really like the sound it makes, it's a calm sounding hum and when you ride over a bump or curb is sounds solid and reassuring ins a weird way. I can see how you'd still be a bit traumatized from the fall before though even at this point. You should always have a healthy bit of fear (as opposed to overconfidence) keeps you alert, especially one one of these little electric rideables. But I do hope you get a little confidence back even if Long boards aren't really your thing.

hey man- tighten your trucks and make sure your feet are far enough apart to maintain high speeds without wobble.
It also comes with practice, so just ride a lot and you'll (hopefully) never wobble again!
best way to avoid wobbles is to keep your weight on front foot

First skateboard that I actually like.
Speed wobble is caused by trucks facing opposite and working like a monster truck, great for slow speed maneuvering but crap for high speed stability. I think I've figured out a great solution. I use Waterborne Surf adapter kits (both front and rear assemblies) to allow for extra turning of the front trucks and extra lean, and this allows me to have the rear trucks face the SAME direction as the front, but with stiffer bushings. So when leaning for a turn now, the rear trucks stay straight in the first part as the rear adapter works first and then the rear trucks turn in a bit just like a sports car's AWD. This not only increases stability hugely in high speed turns(my back end doesn't want to kick out) but it also has eliminated speed wobbles. Now I have the best of all worlds: incredibly smooth and agile turning at all speeds yet still very stable in straight lines without the wave energy induced speed wobbles.
If you ever make it down to Orange County you need to go on a group ride with the peeps I ride with. Most are on Onewheel's but a few ride boards and e-bikes
The wheels and stuff look like straight up plastic but the board looks so cool and I do love the concept of the trucks

I bought the only reverse trike on amazon before it went out of stock. They delivered it fully functional with a tank of gas im gonna try and plate it monday
It looks like its a mountain board with street tires would be cool to get some beefier wheels with grip tread so you can ride in grass and stuff

This dudes the kid that tries skating, falls once and quits.
there are diffrent truck bushings for diffrent purposes like soft rubber for slow speeds and harder rubber for a more stiff steering,
if you are not used to skate on high speed on longboard with regular or soft rubber, you can actually buy harder truck bushings which prevents speed wobble but increase the steering hardness also (I use on downhill bushings from Independent Standard Cylinder Cushions (super-hard-96a))
I really recommend them for higher speed E-Longboards instead of the stock ones :)
Definitely need harder for the electric longboards. Speed wobble like crazy!

I've been looking forward to a board that looks like this. Presently, I've been wondering how I will be able to turn my BMW Street Carver into something like this.
One flaw with this design is the way it goes over speed bumps. Often the 'trucks' bottom out. I solved that problem on my Street Carver by giving it bigger all terrain wheels that give it more clearance. My HaggyWheels are the Blue 145mm Pneumatic All-Terrain.
Haggy Wheels are not very available anymore. I think for my own BMW Street carver build I will consider Trampa parts. I've looked into MBoards for a hub wheels set-up, but I'm not too keen on the idea.

Good review I agree if its priced right good job but I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to get my 26mph longboard to go 30+ lol
Maybe it doesn't go fast coz it was primarily built for off-road with a similar principle as off-road vehicles where torque is more valued than speed. That's just my impression looking at the independent suspension and the all-terrain tire design.

Which would you ride on a day to day?? I would guess that the gas bikes goes faster out of the box?? That thing was boxed up really good and the bottom of that board is really pretty, but man that thing is expensive. The price ranges from $949 to $30,000. WTF

Speed Wobbles: Lean forward, put your weight over the front trucks, and start carving.
BMW also builded one like that without motor long time ago. Idea is not new. Much more fun in the electric version

not too bad, I'd say teen to adult. The main feature seems to be the suspension and steering, which may make it worth it overall depending on rider preference.
