I have no idea😂 I never even noticed that until someone pointed it out in the comments. It didn’t stay that way it went back to normal at some point right after the video.
nice video. i installed mine last week and it was a pain to get at. I ended up unmarrying it and removing it because the check engine light would stay on, even after i unmarried it. I had to disconnect the battery to get it to go away. I'm waiting to hear back from support before trying again.
Awesome rundown of the Tazer setup. I have the manual transmission and I know there are extra steps for this. I haven't found a video yet of someone doing this for the 6spd manual.
Man I wish I could help you out but I really don’t know much about doing it for the manual! I’m sure it isn’t a whole lot different, but I do remember there were some options that specific for auto/manual. Thanks for watching!
Are the lockers being used outside of 4 low a passive option or is it a setting that needs turned on? I got burned by buying the flashcal+ which is supposed to have support for the lockers in my Rubicon JT but the option isn't available in the app. I don't want to get burnt twice? This video is by far the best informative one out there for the Tazer!
I’m pretty sure I forgot to throw that in the video, but it will remember what you have selected. At least that’s the way we’re using it. We just turn it off the regular way with the button and as long as you don’t hit the button it will stay off even with the jeep being turned off or on. I want to say it does have an option to disable it permanently but I would have to go back through the manual and verify that.
2 questions…did this have the option to disable the lights at the license plate to prevent washing out the backup camera? Also, if you unmarry (to take to the dealership) do you have to redo everything you changed or does it save the changes you made and all you have to do is remarry it?
Yes, it does have the license plate option in the Live Settings to turn it off, and when we unmarried ours for a dealership visit, I don't remember having to redo any settings. I'm almost positive it kept everything.
So on ours we can do that when we’re on the Off-road Pages. It’s not a feature of the Tazer. I use it a lot when we’re on the trails I usually leave my front camera on but you can choose either front or rear.
I have the flashcal plus in my cart for my new jeep. Did you happen to do any research on that one before you bought this? Flashcal plus uses bluetooth off your phone and seems much much easier.
I did do a decent amount of research beforehand. It’s been a little while now so I don’t remember much about the flashcal. The reason I chose the Tazer is for the extra off-road ability’s it unlocks. I like being able to idle up for winching, lock one rear wheel for tight turns, and the brake hold to lock all four brakes down. Those are the main reasons I chose the Tazer. Some time has passed between the time I bought and now so there could definitely be some better choices out there.
@@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms Sounds like a solid plan. But for me I do not want some little piece of plastic messing with my brakes. Tire size adjustment, sway bar disconnect, idle up all cool. Brakes being manipulated belongs to MOPAR as far as I am concerned. Thanks for the reply.
Position a right angle pick on the lip of the connector, then press the tab on the back with your index finger to unlock it, and at the same time pull down with the pick to unseat the connector. Have an Extension Adapter Cable ready to install to make removal and install easier for the next time. You can also pull the center panel off to see much better. It has 3 clips on each side to pull off.
Found this on their website. May help??? Does a Tazer void my warranty? No! The Tazer makes no permanent changes to your vehicle and does not violate your warranty. You should, however, return to stock by “Unmarrying” and removing the Tazer from your vehicle before dealer service to avoid complicating their job. Leaving the Tazer plugged can in some cases interfere with dealer tools and cause confusion if the dealer’s not familiar with the device. Also no mention unless I happened to miss it is the Start/stop button mod?
You’re right I forgot to mention that! If you’re talking about the auto stop/start. It will remember what you had selected. So if you turned it off it will stay off until you turn it back on even after turning on/off the Jeep. I completely forgot about it when I was recording! I have read that about the warranty, but I have also heard some horror stories of people getting their warranty voided after not taking their taser off. I think it would have to be a really bad dealership to begin with to do something like that, and 99% of dealerships wouldn’t. Like they said though just makes everything easier and there’s no worrying about it if it’s just unmarried and removed.
@@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms What about the small second battery removal some people do? Is that also for the stop/stop? It seems some people disconnect it or remove it so the stop/ start feature does not work anymore? Thanks for your help!
@@ericjames7680 I haven’t actually heard of that! It makes sense… that’s the primary reason for having that battery, but I don’t know if they tied anything else into it or if it would throw any codes. I’ll have to do some reading on that!
Why outside temp goes insanely high?

Appreciated the video. Going to attempt to update my lite to full mini version. Need those extra options!
Best tazer mini how to video out here. THANK YOU,
Glad it was helpful!

Did I miss it? Can you turn off the stop start option ? So the engine stays running when you stop a a light?

nice run down of all of it. Thanks!
No problem!
Sage green is best colour
I agree!! I loved sting gray up until we got this. It’s definitely my favorite now!

No body is going to mention that it’s 126 degrees in his garage😮😮
😂😂😂 That’s awesome I have no idea how I missed that. It was definitely hot in there that day but no way it was that hot!
Can you have front or back camera on while driving without shutting off?

I’m honestly not sure about either one… sorry.

Maybe I missed it. Is there a option to disable that function that doesn't allow you to move if door is open?
No I don’t believe that there is. You can turn the seatbelt “ding” off but I don’t think it affects the auto park.
still can't get my plugs out
Hmm well that was the best trick I had was the long skinny screw driver to depress the tabs…

@@BreacherUpOffroadCustoms It's tied to your remote start, and a couple of other tid bits as well.
@@Ghostiator That's good to know thanks for doing the research!
People should be aware that after marrying the Tazer to your Jeep, it will act grumpy and miserable...
😂😂😂
Will you elaborate on this? Just got mine in the mail…
