    I'm honestly very proud of the mental progression this man has made. He is a completely different player that what he used to be. Calmer, moves with grace. He was angry all the time before, always something on his mind and that would make his lose the game. If he stays like this, he can go a long long way

    Lezgoooo Stef! He got the toughest draw being on the same side as Alcaraz and Sinner - and a lot of danger clay courters to come through in the early rounds too. Come on Stef - get this slam!

    Loved how Stefanos came back almost 2 sets down on this match. He showed mental strength and grit! The real test will be his next opponent. Carlos Alcaraz has never lost to Tsitsipas and has actually claimed that he feels "very comfortable" playing Tsitsipas.. in other words " I can beat him easily". Tsitsipas needs to bring his all court game against Alcaraz. He can not hold back. He needs to be prepared for those drop shots and his first serve must go in. Carlos will be waiting to crush the second serve and of course exhaust hitting to Stefanos' backhand. Let's see what happens. Can Tsitsipas finally overcome and win against Carlos? Or will Alcaraz continue his hold and leave Stefanos winless once again? I will be cheering for Tsitsipas for sure. Hopefully he is on and ready and does not hold back and does not give Carlos more of the same where he feels comfortable enough to win and defeat once again!

    Stefanos is such a joy to watch... and to me, defines the epitome of tennis (just like The Maestro, Federer)... which not only includes ball striking and shot making, but how one moves: the grace/balance... footwork... and he has superior fitness... . he's very talented, but i think stefanos game has nothing to do with what federer used to play. Most people only say that because both have one handed backhands. Federer gameplay had much more variety, he came to the net much much more often, he used to slice much more. Well, both are agressive players and have one handed backhands, but that is all.

    Coming from an Italian, Arnaldi, Musetti, and the other young upcoming Italian players need to learn from Sinner and stop being ruled by their emotions during the match. When they're on fire, they're screaming and showing so much confidence, but when they're down, they are deflated as can be. No fight when it gets tough. Sinner stays focused and keeps that killer instinct regardless if hes up or down in a set period. He channels his emotions into laser sharp focus just like how Djokovic and the other greats do.

      @VelthurLausa 2 месяца назад

      @@gillmonsta It isn't a legalism. You could make a similar argument for most of the italian regions at the borders. By that logic folks from Friuli would be really Slovenians. In Aosta Valley and Piedmont, what, french? And not only at the borders, see Sardinia - you wouldn't call that Italy now, would you? You see where this is going. And to stay within our borders: are black Americans not American because they are not white? What you mean is all in your last sentence: Sinner is not 'mediterranean'. So what? He is Italian. This is what Italy is : a patchwork of peoples and cultures. It does not coincide with your idea of the italian as the "roman mediterranean" type. Bruh.

      it’s 2024 and people still mention bathroom breaks in every comment about Tsitsipas. His haters are so exhausting 🤦‍♀️

      It costs a lot of money to create the coverage. If you pay for a streaming service, you can see every match, every court. If you pay, pay, you need to pay, yeah?

      @@blucat4 nobody's forcing them to put out highlights but they do it and they do it badly. Much worse than any of the other Grand Slam highlights.
      Nobody's asking for a full match here but just something interesting. It's become a norm to put out prolonged highlights if you want a wider audience and bigger engagement. Anywhere from football, basketball etc. They all put out 10+ minutes or so of content. What the French open does is just pointless and in bad taste and it does the greatest disservice to the athletes.

      @@zuja666 It's not much worse than any other highlights. Go to STAN Sport RUclips channel which is the Australian streaming service and do the slams in Australia. Look at their RG highlights, do that now. Even worse than these. They do the same for the AO, their home slam. (Their paid for streaming service is EXCELLENT!) The US Open site and Wimbledon site are worse. Go to the Wimbledon site now, and you will see the same complaints on their highlights. I wouldn't know about any other sport, because I don't watch any other sport.

      Wow, you must be a real expert. Arnaldi is 35, Musetti is 30th and lost to the number 1 player and former number 3 player. Nevertheless, we had two players in the round of 16 and four in the round of 32. I don't see anything to be ashamed of.
