Popyrin has been underrated for a while now. The guy just has the misfortune of seemingly running into Djokovic early in every single GS 😂 I suspect we'll see him in the top 20-25 soon.

Zverev's forehand was garbage today when it was needed to deliver under pressure. He just couldn't find the middle of the racket on the forehand side, hence oscillating from hitting short balls right up to shanking balls out of the stadium. It cost him the match eventually. As for Korda, this wasn't one of his better matches during his impressive win streak so far, but his confidence from that winning run to find a way through with determination made him the steadier player when it mattered. Let's see if he can keep his 2-week win streak going in the semis!

Many commenters here talking Seb up. Nice to see, but maybe some objectivity is needed. Yes, he just beat the atp #4. But lets not forget, human beings can have good and bad days. If we instead look to some independent mathematics, UTR says his technical level is 15.85 and trending at 15.87, as of this morning. That does not include this result, and may take a day or two for the UTR database to update.
So, what does that mean? Well, he's TECHNICALLY the 20th best player in the UTR ratings. Nothing more, and nothing less. That said, he LOOKS like his level is on the way up, and he may well peak in time for the USO. Based on that, with a favourable draw, he has a good chance to make the quarters, and maybe better. But as I said above human beings can have good and bad days, and that includes Seb as well.
