Such a great coach, he turned that n00b into a pro player in an hour! Everybody should sign up for his lessons and you too will see the same instant improvement!
The coach seemed like a good fella, but it was clear he was/is definitely burned out from teaching lessons. Please do him a favor and take him up on his offer to hit. He mentioned it several times for a reason. He needs it.
I thought the coach was gruff and borderline rude to begin with, but I like him, he’s no BS and needs a break Wishing you the best best in the future 🙏
I still can't believe how he didn't know he was a pro (or at least very trained) player the moment he saw him serve. NOBODY serves like that the first time. Or day. Or month. No matter how much tennis you have watched.
Instructor‼A coach is a completely different animal‼Darren Cahill is a coach‼Coaches discuss strategy & approaches to matches! A great instructor teaching technique isn't necessarily a good coach‼
He knew after the serve, he just played along from there. Ain’t no way a day 1 human being gets the serve down. That’s like seeing a baby 2 seconds born stand, run to the car and drive home 😂
I mean I know badminton players can get pretty decent serves on day 1. Not this level but they can get passable serves in one day and give them like a week they can get good serves. Badminton players are really good at overhead motions and a lot of the kinetic chain for serves is similar to overhead shots in badminton.
This guy just seems like such a good guy to me. I hope he recovers if that's possible but I love seeing such kind people. And an AMAZING coach. Wish I had a coach like him where I am!
I don't know how the algorithm brought me here, but I think I found a gem. Praneet was so good sport when he found out you re not a newbie, I hope to see more videos with him! Kudos from Brazil
Same here, no idea what brought me here, I don't think I ever watched a tennis video before (although I do enjoy the weight lifter who pretends to be a janitor). So good, I sub'd and hope to see more!
You should invite him to do reviews with you. Give him some good PR. Outside of that I am not a big fan of videos that put people on at their expense but clearly you hit the lottery with him. He was incredibly patient and I loved how he came up to you numerous times to shake your hand. He is excellent and rare kind of coach.
He already knew it at the first acceptable backhand or maybe earlier (I've fastforwarded some parts). An average adult serves like that after years of practise. Most of them never gets that level.
As soon as he asked "how I hold the racket?"... Have seen lots of rookies starting day 1... They don't now there's a special way to hold, thdy just grab it.

I thought he was a little peeved off at first, but he came round. I think he was amazed, intrigued, then disappointed that it wasn't a 'real" situation, so there should be a follow up and perhaps a set of tennis
This video exceeded my expectations. You must be pleased with having found the PERFECT coach of what you were going for. "There's no WAY you can kick serve on the first day!" This guy was clearly passionate about the sport, and you probably made his dream come true. It would be an honor to hit balls with someone as hilarious (and talented) as you. Thanks for the chuckles.
Best video so far! We were lucky to have Praneet. His personality took the video up a level. It would've been crazy if you challenged him to a 10 point tiebreak at the end, and then finally starting playing your level without telling him. hahaha
Praneet was an excellent sport and very patient teacher. Kudos to him, he deserves all the best 🙂 He looks like an excellent player as well ... would love to see you two play a set!
I don't even watch tennis and I know little to nothing about it, but this video kept me hooked the entire time, good guy coach and great acting from you! Love the banter in the end as well :D
Was thinking the exact same thing. He even picked it up at he end and said "Oh this is your racket" perfect opportunity for you to say you can keep it for being such a good sport.
This video should get a million views bro! Its refreshing to see Futures players making such videos and hope it gets you funds to train as you want because we all know how expensive it is to become an ATP player. Just a suggestion: Some viewers maybe of impatient types you should create a shorter 5min video with just reactions so even non tennis enthusiasts watch it and you make extra dough😁 All the best for such awesome content ❤
Awesome video, so entertaining. You mishit those balls at the start really well (good actor!), just like a beginner, and I could see the coach thinking "damn, these balls are 2 euros each" when you hit them over the fence. His reaction when you hit pro shots was perfect.
to be honest this is an excellent coach, 90% of the coaches here just throw you balls and say "wow, great job" regardless of whether you are hitting it right or not
Honestly...that was so refreshing and cool and funny...I loved this one👏👏👏 wasn´t expecting a lot from the video but it turned out soooo great 😀 the coach was a great guy, took it all with a smile...that´s how it should be, just loving this stuff 🙂 Cherry on top would have been if you have picked and RF97A and didn´t know who Roger Federer was 😀

Love it. But I swear I would've been sus on the very first ball. Your footwork and the way you brought the raquet back (and up) was a BIG CLUE to someone paying attention, haha. And sliding on clay perfectly the first time, hahaha. Love it. That would be so hard for me to do. And I would've at least frying pan-gripped a few serves, hahaha.
