Looks beautiful. Love your color palette and the way everything ties together. I love hellebores and planted the variety you have a couple of years ago. I've been using more violas than pansies, too. The violas seem to do better in containers in my zone 7 Maryland garden. We are expecting much colder than normal temps, this weekend, also. Hope everything survives in all our gardens.
I wish (in November) I could walk around outside barefoot. However, I’ve got storm damage with leaves everywhere and we’ll hit 55 degrees next week just in time for me to Ryobi vacuum/mulch them up for under my andromeda...
+Jennifer Hooks the closer to the house, the more shade they get in the front garden … I’ve had hellebore growing in that garden for two years now … I think one things that helps is all of the other plants growing up and casting shade over these.
I love it! Those violas are gorgeous.
+michelle pollino I’m obsessed with their color!
Bluestone Perennials shipped me huchera and it’s done fabulously well - tripled in size in a short time. Healthy plants.
+None Stated wonderful!
Happy planting thanks for sharing
Great job it looks beautiful
+katherin Gardening thanks!
Love those sweet little violas! They look so dainty. Not liking this early cold weather. Still have work to be done. Hoping the warmup really happens.
+Marion Nixon it’s crazy how early winter got here especially because last year we had such a warm December!

+Susan Schellberg I’ve been leaning towards violas too … I feel like they are more robust and the plants get larger and fuller than pansies
Thank you for sharing. Hope everything survive the arctic freeze
+Mark Bruno 🥶🥶🥶 same

+Janet Knight thanks!

Did your Hellebores survive Summer 2023? If so, how did you do it?
They did! I have them on drip and afternoon shade which helped so much.
Isn't your front area full sun? How will the hellebores and huecheras do in that area as summer comes on?
