Thank you for the information about the Lenten rose, I just learned of these, someone sent me seeds, and.I will try and grow these.I bought 7,gal. sized plants. They are very beautiful. I will be watching your other videos
I'm in Ohio, went to southern Ohio today and these caught my eye at the greenhouse we stopped at.. I got 4 of them and cant wait to start my cottage gardens!
They are a joy to see them and my hardy cyclmen then in early spring the fresh green of euphorbias . I must get more ! Lol Thank you for sharing. Happy growing!
Wonderful information. I just planted several hellebores in my zone 5 gardens this past spring. They still have their flowers 🌸 on them. Loving that. My question is, Should I fertilize them over the summer months and what type, ie. all purpose or a more specific fertilizer. Thank you 🙏
Thank you Debbie! Great video, also appreciate the shorter intro!! I wished hellebores would be a bit more affordable! They cost $30.00++ in Michigan. Seams like a lot for a little plant.. I debate with myself for the same price I can already get a evergreen or a hydrangea :-)
I bought some seeds off of Etsy several years ago for my parents. They took a few years to really get going, but they ended up with 20 plants for about $8, plus water and time.
I live in Maryland and had to go get one after seeing this video. I paid $17 at the local nursery and thought that was expensive but bought it anyway. Had planned on putting it near front porch that gets shade from my tree but now wondering if putting it at that back of the yard that is lined with pine trees would be better for more of the woodland setting. Would the pine needles on the ground bother the plants need for alkaline soil, though have to admit the soil is quite loamy. Probably the best soil in the yard!
Would you please talk in your next video about "pussywillows"? I am used to those from Germany but I haven't see them here in Michigan at all in gardens. I would love to plant one so I have sticks to take inside the house around Easter. Thank you :-)
Ask your favorite nursery if they would order some for you. If they turn you down, check online nurseries. Small bare-root plants are available through the Arbor Day Foundation, if you're willing to wait for them to grow on for a few years.
Stunning varieties.

All purpose works just fine. Fertilize every 6 weeks until October. This gives them a boost before bloom time in Feb. :)
Good luck with your first spring at the nursery!
pro tip : you can watch movies on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies during the lockdown.
@Aaron Azariah Yup, I have been using Flixzone for months myself =)

Claudia Rosa It may be a lot to start but they will last you the next 10 years! Wow! :)

Brodmann312 what time of the year did you seed them? Spring or fall?

That is too pricey for one plant.
Debbie, how much is Pink Frost at your nursery? It is a much bigger plant (bigger leaves) than the one I purchased
what are some other of your favorites of heleborus I have the pink frost good to know about the rodents not eating them
Hi. New subscriber here. Love your information. Wondering what pollenates hellebores in the early winter when there isn’t really bugs yet?
Can these be planted in containers?
