Hi guys! I hope you're having a wonderful Monday! I forgot to mention that in FE there's also female on female and male on male action 😏 Also, I know there are other 3D Mario games, but I've never actually played them... Don't kill me 😂
Some really good picks...Odyssey gets better every time I play it, the control you have over Mario is SO tight!
A fully open world sequel would seem like a logical progression, hope Nintendo have thought of that.

I'd say my switch is currently my favourite console. I play a lot of indie games. Currently going through Crosscode. Great game.
Thanks Rob! I love my Switch too, but lately my Ps4 backlog has grown up quite a bit, so I've been playing more on my Ps4 😁

@@miriamsgamingperspective9998 My backlog is insane and I don't I will get to the end. I'm an idiot and just buy more games. I'm playing through 3 jrpg's all at once at the minute, nino kuni, trails of cold steel and dragon quest 11. Will never get through them at this rate 😂x
hahahaha that's the main reason why I force myself to only buy one game at a time 😂 If I buy more then I'll end up finishing none of the ones I buy lol Hope you're enjoying them tho, they're really good games!

@@miriamsgamingperspective9998 How do you know so many languages, from school or free time, or just from living in Europe? I live in the U.S., so you really only need to know English, Spanish is helpful with the growing Hispanic population here.
Well, I started leaning Japanese because I wanted to tbh, and English has always been a part of my life since I always attended bilingual schools. As for other languages, Latin and Ancient Greek are taught in High school here if you decide to study humanities. Sometimes, German and French are also taught in high school, but you get to choose whether you want to learn a new language or whether you want to study something different. I think that, in general, in Europe we consider languages really important, since there are a lot of official languages in the EU.
Nice content, and at this moment I am not waiting for any new coming game, I have a lot of games to play. In fact, at this point I am hyped with Dark Souls series. Maybe I´ll buy Cyberpunk 2077 but not first day.

I prefer to play multiplatform games on the Switch, simply because of the possibility of play them in portable mode. Unfortunately, some suffer with frame rate drops, crashes and annoying bugs. =(
Personal honorable mentions, Luigi's Mansion 3, Tetris 99, Cadence of Hyrule, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (this is one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen), Untitled Goose Game (honk!), Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (really funny game).
If you like L.A. Noire, take a look at a game called "Blacksad: Under the Skin", this is a game based on a graphic novel with the same name. A game of mysteries and investigation. Despite being available for the Switch, I recommend to play the PS4 or PC version, as it doesn't offer a satisfactory experience on the Nintendo console. =/
Those are really good honorable mentions! Link's awakening is indeed very beautiful tbh 😍 I looked it up and it does look like a really interesting game! I think I'll pick it up for the Ps4 then.
This game is like a Disney movie (literally) with steroids. XD
I've always wondered if the nintendo switch is any good, i haven't played it yet nor held one either... if i made the jump from xbox to the playstation i think i would love to try out the switch in the future, both zelda & mario games looks amazing but i am not sure if it's enough to make me purchase a switch 🧐
P.S. the animal crossing one looks like a perfect gift for a gf, definitely not my style from what I have seen in your video. (You speak fondly of it 😶 it must be great?) anyways mahalo miss miriam for sharing that list 🤙
If you like , arcade games , indies like celeste , cuphead ,hollow night or old games like snes and nes console like donkey Kong country 1 , old Zelda games , old Mario games and others classic games , so its the best place where you can play them......
But if you prefeer AAA third parties games , I recomend you next gen console .
And of course its perfect if you travel a lot xD

Without a doubt i prefer AAA next gen gaming, but i need something for the get go and the switch looks alright... but i ain't into arcades games and spending almost $500 for something i may not use is just depressing, I'll wait for a cheap-sale when it goes down to $200 and then I'll buy it for sure 😁
Mehmed you can always consider the Nintendo Switch lite which is cheaper than the normal Nintendo switch. There are a lot of good games on the switch, you just have to investigate a little bit more. It might be worth it 🤔
@@mehmed6712 on black friday I have seen Nintendos switchs for 226 dollars , but IT was in my country ....... I am from México 🤷♂️
Normaly here ,in my country costs about 500 dollars , but on christmas days you can see them between 226 - 300 dollars
So you could look for one on thoses days , at Amazon 🤷♂️
But I think miriam's idea about think to buy a Nintendo switch lite its better because, its cheaper and more portable than a normal Nintendo switch 💁♂️

Your videos really are fantastic. I know your channel is small right now, but if you keep going trust me it will get big. I've been kind of struggling recently and your videos are really calming to me for some reason, I like to listen to them while I get work done, so thank you. Now on to the video. I have only a few games for the switch. I'm not that big a gamer, I'm heavy into film, and i'm incredibly picky, so I have: ni no kuni, this game was a big surprise, I was wanting to play an rpg, and I saw persona 5, but I did not like how that game treated the character of ann, I was really disgusted by it, games are very expensive nowadays, so I make sure to do thorough research of a game before I decide to spend my money on it. that's one of my biggest problems with games, along with a multitude of other things, is the way they treat females. So anyway I skipped that one, heard last of us 2 was bad, and was looking for a game, and i saw ni no kuni was on switch, and I was just shocked, so I picked it up just recently. Never played it but watched it when it came out. I also have ori, smash bros, and mario kart. I also bought the original final fantasy 7, before the remake came out, and I completely regret it lol, game is just to dated for me. Its comical. But that's my switch collection so far. As for dragon quest 11, I played the switch demo and really enjoyed it, but they just announced the definitive edition is coming out on ps4 in December, so I'll wait for that. I never buy games that just came out, cause games nowadays are known for coming out unfinished, and shoving a ton of dlc in your face. Or getting a better version rerelease later on. Battlefront 2 for example, love the original, and the new one is a complete disaster. Glitchy, incredibly unbalanced, and it just got "completed". Anyway, keep it up! I'll also comment on your ps4 games video! Great job.
Oh and I also forgot breath of the wild, I just 100 percented it, never played a zelda game before, thought it looked boring, but the quality of it just won me over, so I'm a zelda fan now. What are your favorite zelda games? Theres a lot and I'm a newbie, not sure which one to play next.

I understand all the research you make before buying a video game, they’re just too expensive nowadays to just buy them blindly without knowing if you’ll like them or not.
The portrayal and treatment of women in video games is sometimes a really bad one and I hope we’ll get past that one day.
You’ll like dragon quest xi, it’s a really fun and incredible game. Truly, I don’t know why there aren’t more people out there who like this game. They’re missing out.
I think that Breath of the Wild did a better job than other games at portraying women. Zelda wasn't a classic damsel in distress as much, as she was strong enough to fight Ganon for a hundred years, wasn't just captured. Also adding the additional roles, like a researcher, and the Guerdo not looking like the classic woman, showing women can have muscles too and fight fiercely and be powerful, like Urbosa. Ocrinia of Time had Zelda be Shiek, a skiekah warrior who is good at fighting, so I think that Breath of the Wild portrayed women better than other games. Agree?
@@GalacticStarForge42 i absolutely agree, breath of the wild treated women with much respect. I love how the gerudo woman were all different and very unique looking, some very tall, some bigger set, they weren't your typical anime girl where shes incredibly tiny and skinny and yet has huge breasts. They all were unique looking. And urbosa was awesome. From what I've seen of the zelda series, as I am a newbie, the females are portrayed very well, some just seem to lack screen time. I agree zelda was portrayed well, but I do hope we see her more and she takes a more prominent role in botw 2. Impa fi, etc. All the female characters I've seen are good. Nintendo is usually good though with male and female equality, especially as there main audience is kids. They are probably my favorite game company, even though they still do dlc and rereleases and release unfinished games and have you pay for online which is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. The only bad thing I saw was cia from hyrule warriors, I had googled each zelda game and checked its ratings and people's thoughts, I love using IMDb parents guide as they give unbiased info, and there was seemingly no fanservice in any of them, but then I saw hyrule warriors and heard about cia, saw her, and yeah shes a major fanservice character, But I did more research and found out that its not really a zelda game. It Is a dynasty warriors game with zelda characters in it. So that is a separate thing. So yeah anyway point is females seem to be portrayed well, all I hope is we see more zelda in the next one. Maybe play as her. I read that you've never been able to play as zelda, which if true, is wild. I mean shes in the title lol. But I'm very excited to play more zelda games, loved botw.
Personally, I do like how women are portrayed in botw, there are just a few things I'd love for them to expand on. I loved Zelda, but, in the end, even though she was portrayed in a good way, she was still trapped in the castle for the majority of the game. True that she was sacrificing herself and she was acting as a shield, but still... I would love for her not to have such as static role I guess. But I loved Urbosa, she was incredible. I think she is my favourite female character in botw.

I‘m thinking about getting fire emblem... but I‘m a bit scared it might be to complicated in battle? Is it worth getting when you haven’t played the fire emblem games before?
Linda Jürgensen it definitely is!! I thought the battle system was going to be quite difficult too, but it was not 😌 And it’s really easy to understand, I didn’t spend much time trying to figure out how it worked 😌
So if you want to play it, I’d say go for it. I hadn’t played any of the Fire Emblem games before and I loved this one 😍
