I've had my switch for like 3 years and used it a max of 5 times, it kinda sucks
I love that Nintendo doesn't care about things like super realistic graphics and focuses instead on fun.
I just picked up super mario oddessy. Cant believe ive been sleeping on it for so long. Great game.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best selling Nintendo game of all time, it sold 6x more than it did on the WiiU.
Love the list man! Keep it up. I played every game on here and I couldn't agree with too much more. Only thing I would have said is many of my friends have been talking about Pikmin this year but I never tried it.
Pikmin 4 is a really awesome game! Highly recommend!

For me the best Nintendo switch game is a tie between Mario kart 8 deluxe and super Mario party superstars (the latter could be overthrown by super Mario party jamboree)

Were you planning on making a follow-up video? Cause this one only talked about Nintendo-published games. Not that that's a bad thing; I'm just curious what your thoughts are on some amazing third-party releases.
Also, I hope you're pumped for the Paper Mario 2 remake if Origami King is this high on the list!
Hmm, maybe it could be fun to look at other non-Nintendo games? I just personally feel like the Nintendo Switch excels the most with its first-party games. Also -- maybe this would be worth making an entire video about -- I honestly avoid a lot of third-party games (at least multi-platform ones) on Switch just because of the console's limitations. But that's just me!
That's a fair point. Nintendo-published games seem to really excel at pushing the Switch's limits... except for Pokemon, so thank you for not having one of those games on your list!

For Most ppl including myself Mario kart 8 deluxe, nsmbu deluxe etc are all new games to me I didn’t own a Wii U and I didn’t even know it existed so my last console was Wii. So from 2010 to 2019 I missed out on a lot of great games. To me the price doesn’t bother me because is my first time 🤷🏻♂️

Its odd to put paper mario on the list, when theres mario rpg on switch.
I put Paper Mario: The Origami King on the list because I feel like it has a wider appeal than something like Super Mario RPG. While Mario RPG is a really awesome game for RPG fans, I think The Origami King can be liked by people who may not even be RPG fans while still having some small RPG elements.
@@ChaseYama Origami King can be fun, but I get a lot more lost in it than other Paper Mario or Mario RPG titles.
Why do people continue to make "the greatest games of all time" for the switch videos?
The list is always pretty much the same as everyone else's.
Zelda BOTW, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Super Smash Bros, etc

Fine video, but you could've switched out Paper Mario EASILY for Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Metroid, Kirby, or Pikmin. This list kinda feels like a popularity contest in that regard (minus Pokemon).
Like I said in the video, Paper Mario: The Origami King is a pretty controversial game especially among RPG fans. I decided to include it on this list for multiple reasons:
1. I wanted to have a little bit of everything on this "top 10" list. So I had one spot saved for an RPG.
2. While there are other RPGs on Switch that are subjectively better specifically-RPGs than The Origami King, I think that it's still the most newcomer friendly since it offers a wide variety of gameplay genres. If people aren't super interested in RPG-elements, The Origami King can still be entertaining for them.
As far as the "popularity contest," I think it's fair to say that there are a lot of popular games on this list; I even questioned if I was putting too much Mario on my list. But, I think there is a reason that these games are so popular... It's because they're good. So I think that they are definitely worthy of being in the top 10 Switch games.
@@ChaseYama Fair, however, if the RPG elements are weakened just to have a broader appeal to people who aren't that into RPG's, doesn't that slightly defeat the purpose of having a RPG, since it doesn't feel like one (or makes some mechanics overcomplicated, like battling)
Also wonder if Origami King would be as successful without the Mario name (or any of them after Sticker Star), because while it is still a fine game, I find myself getting lost in it easily, compared to the other RPG's I've played.
Again, good list, but still not sure about Origami King over other candidates. Fine reasoning in defense of it though.
