- The Man Without Fear is back! Anyone worried that Daredevil’s small cameo in No Way Home was just a fun easter egg has had their prayers answered with an abundance of Daredevil reveals at Comic Con this year. Yeah it’s exciting that Daredevil will officially make appearances in She-Hulk and Echo, but the real bread and butter comes with the announcement that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will headline his own Disney+ show called Daredevil: Born Again.
The exciting part is that unlike most MCU shows, Daredevil: Born Again will be a full series with 18 episodes currently ordered. And while that may invoke a bit of caution for those of us who remember that the Netflix Daredevil show sometimes struggled with pacing for only a 13 episode season, I trust that the Powers That Be at Marvel have a plan to make the most out of this longer episode count. Because at the end of the day it just gives us more Daredevil content and that’s incredibly exciting! So with all that out of the way, the question becomes, what exactly will the story be for the Daredevil: Born Again TV show? Well there’s a lot of options! The original comic arc titled Daredevil: Born Again was already sorta adapted in Season 3 of the Netflix show, but there’s still a lot of variations and twists that we could see. I’ll break down all of them, while also adding some new storylines that could fit within this arc like a Spider-Man Team Up and a possible Defenders solution.

Totally disagree on Bullseye. I really want them to bring back Wilson Bethel, and I think the psychological backstory they gave him was fantastic. So much better than generic sadist, which we've seen before countless times.

I never liked bullseye before because he was just a one dimensional psycho with no depth as a character. But I frigging loved wilson bethel's take on the character and view that adaptation as the true bullseye. I will be very disappointed if cbr's predictions about bullseye comes to be true

Nah, I hope Daredevil: Born again is just as dark as the Netflix TV Show. The MCU already has projects such as Blade, and Deadpool coming out which are all Rated R. And Spider-man is definitely capable of being in a darker storyline. There are plenty of downright depressing and mature / dark stories that Spider-man has gone through. So a team-up between them while still remaining dark is plausible.
Preach no cookie cutters here bro haha like you can't spit on our face like that sure give it some MCU flavor and bring some light to the situation if you included tom holland but it's also the reality of it all there's always darkness in the light.
First, they said blade will be pg13 only Deadpool 3 was going to be rated r and they are making marvel zombies Tv-Ma also so there a chance Daredevil could keep the Tv-Ma rating, but he also can fit in a Tv-14 rating too

The Netflix shows are MCU canon. I've heard that in Born Again DD will get his latest costume that's primarily black with red accents, and if that's the case I think he'll go straight from the yellow/red costume to that one.

Even if just a small cameo to start, I think this series would be a good way to also re-introduce Jon Bernthal’s Punisher? I would also like to see Elektra and “the Hand” also kind of make a first appearance in the MCU?
Lets wait for this show to be true to the fans' expectations, which seems improbable. There is likely going to be a lot of cgi and odd blockbuster style shots, a weird sense of pacing and characters being neutered, with minimal and bloodless violence to keep disney's "family friendly" theme. Having a punisher that doesn't kill or does it in a softer way than what has already been established by every iteration before this one doesn't sound too good or interesting.
These shows were about heroes in a realistic setting, even if superpowered. MCU on the other hand has superpowered heroes having the exact same sense of humor, one liners between fights, fights where people don't mess up as often as they should, fighters don't get exhausted, and male heroes getting stripped bare ass naked (Thor L&T) played for laughs - so much for equality. This studio's attitude along with their determination of having longer seasons to the point that they get new writers doesn't inspire any confidence. I'm very reluctant about this show and if my assumptions are correct, the punisher shouldn't even have a cameo, he shouldn't be in a "different universe", he should just not exist, its better than having a punisher that's more like a social worker with a skull t shirt.

@Paraone Ngatai he was accidentally officially announced earlier today but they had said way before Charlie cox had reprised his role that Jon bernthal was already settled and that was about a year back.
One of my big hopes for the series is to see the characters from the original series, foggy Nelson, Karen page, kingpin, Claire temple and Benjamin Poindexter to work with new characters from newest MCU projects, such as echo and moon knight. Both alaqua Cox and Oscar Isaac would reprise their roles from Hawkeye and moon knight.
We want the same bullseye not a different one
I doubt it’s going to be the actual Born Again adaptation as Netflix already did that in season 3. And if this new show continues where the Netflix shows left off, they will do something else more than likely.
I think it would be great to see him fight the absorbing man, who could be in She Hulk as well

We already got Man without fear the original Frank Miller story which I love very dark and gritty but at the same time I'm still very considerate about the villains I'm still thinking it could possibly be gladiator or Mr fear

I would love to see "Guardian Devil" and have Mysterio make his return. Its one of the best storylines in Daredevil IMO.
A Mysterio and Kingpin duo would be quite interesting. But I really want them to make room in the show for a continuation of Bullseye's story. One of the greatest CBM villain origins I have ever seen and hopefully Born Again doesn't ignore it.

The main problem with having luke cage in the mcu, would be that Mahershala Ali is going to play Blade in his own upcoming solo film even though he played Cottonmouth in luke cage. so it would be weird having two different characters played by the same actor (which have both played rather big roles in both films)
It’s happened before in the MCU hell in Deadpool 2 Ryan Reynolds played both Juggernaut and Deadpool. But nonetheless they wouldn’t take cottonmouth to the MCU since he’d be dead.

We know that in Echo Fisk begins a campaign to run for Mayor which will indudably be a major part of what yhe Daredevil Born Again TV series will be about and hell I would not write of the possibility of a Daredevil Captain America style team up movie in the future as well.

If Cox and D’Onofrio are reprising their roles, it’s most likely that EVERY character from Marvel’s Daredevil will be portrayed by their originals actors.

@@HappyBob701 Same. But Punisher is basically already confirmed with a ton of leaks and Jon Bernthal saying a little too much a few months ago. A Bullseye recast would break me though. Incredible performance.
Too bad the MCU's version of Kingpin is stronger yet weaker.. clearly has a strength upgrade but was able to get beaten somewhat easily by a new supe in Kate. I'd love it if they brought back Bullseye for the upcoming Thunderbolts and for another clash with Daredevil in his own show. If they brought back the Netflix Daredevil's Bullseye after his surgery, that could also link to Wolverine/X-Men given Lord Dark Wind was the doctor.

Because it was obviously a bad show they tried to focus on business stuff and not Kun Lun or the Martial Arts stuff. Which is the main point of his character. He always got beaten by people who are less skilled he barely show the fist but talked about being the immortal iron fist the whole show and was a little to childish like if he was the same age as spider-man
It was boring 90% of the time much different than the others and the actor for Danny didn't learn the fight moves he needed for the stunts because they were rushed and didn't have enough time or something and most characters were forgettable

only in Luke cage season 2 he was good they did him dirty in the other shows especially in his first season. I also heard he didn't put in the work for his fight scenes which is why he didn't look that good as Danny Rand /Iron-Fist

I really think they could make it work with a TV-14 rating. They could lean towards TV-MA but keep it TV-14.
One way that I think the MCU Level threat will connect to the bigger epic MCU is that the Kingpin will gain prominence from his dealings with heroes and he will become a anti-hero politician that will become U.S. president. The United States will be ruled by a supervillain wich will cause trouble for the heroes in organizing with the U.S. government (like SHIELD) against a bigger global threat like Kang or Dr. Doom.

The chances of Spidey appearing in Born Again are pretty grim. The sony deal doesnt allow live action Spider-Men to appear in MCU TV shows. The writers of She-Hulk wanted Peter Parker to appear on the show but the deal didnt allow them. But Matty can pop up in Spidey 4 tho

Or Moon knight Instagram post of the bathroom scene was longer and more violent and we could’ve seen Moon knight more being Moon knight instead of that Alligator Kirby shit. All the official reports already stated Born Again is a “new, but continued” series so, a soft reboot. Kevin Feige had said beforehand the Defenders shows exist on the outskirts of the MCU. It make NO sense to retcon the show given it doesn’t interfere with the greater world of the MCU and already set up everything perfectly. If MCU fans actually watched it, they would know the Avengers 2012 movie had a large impact on the story.
I don't think I will enjoyed the series if kingpin have much screentime again like in Netflix, because it will be boring and also we already see kingpin a lot. I would love to see other powerful villain in Daredevil born again.
