@@blakenunndrums praying for you buddy! Yes I knew all of that about the 9000..I've had a couple. They were just too smooth for me.. I actually have a very similar pedal.. the 8000 that was discontinued. I put the pedal plates from the 9000 on it because they are smooth on the bottom of my foot. I also put aftermarket speed bearings on it. Just something about the 9000 it always felt like it would get away from me and I have a very heavy foot and play Hard Rock.

@@DrumAttic, you’re welcome brother. Thank you, I’ve been looking around for a brass snare, hearing them on RUclips with my headphones in and also pricing them. I like the Tama Starphonic, the DW black nickel over brass, but they are very pricey. I did find one that sounds just as good as the DW if not better and that is the Ludwig black magic. That snare sounds great and looks cool. I’m looking for one that affordable.

@@DrumAttic, i ordered a Tama Soundworks maple snare drum from a guitar center awhile ago. When it came the snare side head was torn, one tension rod was bent and the rim was bent as well. I’ll never order from any guitar center. It’s probably just one bad experience, so I won’t be ordering from any of them.
The Ludwig I want is affordable at Sweetwater, once I get the money, lol
@@drummerjoey003 make sure they tell you if it’s in stock. That’s who I had issues getting it from. The rep was super nice, but ultimately they couldn’t get the product.

The guitar center by me has one that's been sitting on the shelf for years because there's a huge dent where the throw off is, probably got dropped right on it while in the box. It's the most beautiful patina I've seen from these and would've bought it instantly had it not been for the dent. I ended up getting the DW Design BNOB, but still might have to get the pork pie eventually. I'm sure they'll give a pretty good discount. I played it once and it still sounded awesome

Its the drum kitchen!!! Sounds awesome man, great video! I never have luck ordering from guitar center. My last 2 items I've ordered from there they charged me, then canceled my order a couple days later with no explanation and was only refunded after making multiple calls to them. I'm a sweatwater guy now!
Honestly, first time I ever ordered from GC. I had originally ordered from (I know I didn’t mention the name in the video...) Sweetwater. Didn’t know the drum wasn’t in stock until the Monday after I ordered it. Was told in January it would be shipped in March. April rolled around and still nothing. I found it cheaper at GC and it was in stock so I canceled the original order and went with GC. My rep from SW is awesome. Just a bad experience trying to get this drum. That sucks that you e had that experience with GC. Makes me nervous for future orders.
@@DrumAttic Yeah I had a feeling that's where you ordered from originally. I've had nothing but good experiences with them and their customer service representatives are top notch in my opinion. Can't wait to see more of that snare though!!

this is the snare that i use as my main. love it! tuned high, it really has a kick in the teeth bite and sounds great

@@DrumAttic cool! i have a few other snares. one is a 12" gretsch blackhawk mighty mini snare. it was the snare i used for a while as a side snare before i switched it to my main and now its just a backup snare for shows😂
That snare definitely sounds great!!!Tells you how much I know but it seem like a deeper than normal snare?
It's 7" deep compared to say a 5" or a 6.5". Being only 13" in diameter as opposed to 14" it looks even deeper! Thanks so much for watching!
