    Man. The coolest thing about watching Lars’ technical skills return is watching his wrist movement. He used to be so jagged and straight armed in his playing, just using brute force to play and missing any and all accents. Since he’s been practising again you can literally SEE his wrist movement improve and the feel has come back to his playing. So cool to see as a drummer.

      @kha Z
      Saying that a certain band, actor, athlete, etc is the GOAT is always just opinion, but when most people's opinions concur, then that's basically a fact. Also, according to stats like album sales, concert revenue, longevity, influence, how many Top 10 Metal Bands Of All Time and Top 10 Metal Albums Of All Time lists they're on, it's also fact.

    • @hinjurock70
      @hinjurock70 2 года назад +2

      @kha Z
      You're wrong on pretty much everything you said there. First of all, no band has sold tens of millions of albums playing exclusively thrash metal. Secondly, they are indeed the wealthiest metal band who has sold the most albums overall. Third, the Black Album is a masterpiece - the only people who disagree are narrow-minded fools who think that thrash metal and death metal are the only good musical genres and everything else sucks. Lastly, I've been listening to hard rock and metal since 1980 and playing it since 1984, so I guarantee that I've heard hundreds of metal bands and know far more about the genre than you do - you sound like you're just teenager. Also, comparing rap or pop to metal or rock is completely idiotic, but the best artists in each of those genres are the ones who have the most memorable songs and sell the most records, so they have that in common with Metallica.

      when you practise and have talent you can beat the shytt out of fight fire with fire even wit 66....dunno if that possible with 86 but
      everything under 70 years is not that special
      am exited how this old track sound live in 2021 coz they play tighter then they did the last 20 years

      hm you dont get it...
      its not about who can play ffwf or is it hard to play ffwf...
      its about: can a musician that plays for years his stuff still can play trash banger tight in his 50s or 60s...
      my answer was: hell yes if you have talent and practise its easy to play ffwf with 58 if you already played it with 38...you get it now?

    The last verse of the song after the double bass part, James changes up his vocal sound. Rather than trying to sound like his old self he fully leans into his new self, which is sounding much lower and brutal. I think he should do more of this because man does it sound mean. Amazing performance, so happy they can still play like this.
