What’s the time frame on the wall mount solution looking like? I was about to piece together my own solution and reel next month but I might be willing to wait for yours.
Can you run a 50ft-100ft water hose to it or will it surge like the 2.0? And for $650 price should this thing last for years not hours and shouldn’t this machine be absolutely no sound specially that they are electric. Are these for wall mounting or detailing vehicle setups only ? I own a mobile detailing business and want to invest in a good electric pressure washer I currently use a Craftsman Cr950 2800 psi 2.5 gpm gas powered pressure washer it has over 3 years of mobile detailing power washing houses driveways it runs a 100ft water hose everyday my foam cannon is a 1.1 orifice I use little soap but get foam thicker then a lady that weights 280 it cost me $149.99 but it’s to loud for those early bird clients or those night owls clients I don’t have the luxury of having a 10ft hose to use in a shop or a detailing vehicle with a water tank setup I’m working my way up too that I use my 07 Denali to mobile detail right now and having to pack around a mytee 8070 spotter machine my gas powered pressure washer my 4 gallon air compressor my portable shop vac a predator 5000 generator chemicals ect is a lot to pack and unpack I use my garage to detail cars too but my water spigot is on the other side of my house which would require 100ft hose anyways I would like to only use my gas one for my garage and a electric for mobile do u know of any electric power washers that could handle what I need ? I live in a college town that has lots of apartments and they don’t make it easy to use the water to wash a vehicle with so the 100ft hose is a big part of my detailing business . I can’t spend $650 just for it to break down even $350 for the 2.0 at those prices it should hold up like an army tank and quite as a mouse.
They can still decide to bring back the pressure washer only, it hasn't been released yet. Times are tough and for those of us that already have all the accessories, please give us the option to buy just the pressure washer so we don't have to spend money we don't have on stuff that will just sit in a box in the basement.
Entering the consumables space is a natural progression for any company that sells capital equipment. If they do a good job with the hose and wand, I think most people will be happy. A lot of value for the price point
Can’t wait to get my hands on it!!! And I want to know why they aren’t trustworthy as well? I’m always unbiased and just share my personal experience and opinion!
Please do a tool only version. Most people already have a hose, gun, foam cannon, and nozzles that are better than what comes with the pressure washer. It’s an unnecessary upcharge and gets either throw into storage and never used or thrown away entirely. I’m not paying an extra $100-150 for stuff I’m never going to use just to get a good pressure washer.
Respectfully, this looks amazing but as a consumer wanting to use this for my car, I would be much happier with a less sexy appearance but availability of replacement parts so I can maintain this and even part upgrade as long as I like. The appearance may be great for an upscale garage but to me the function is the product. Great job guys. Selling not as a kit sounds great hope it happens
Please do the entire world a favor and allow people to buy the pressure washer standalone. Most people buying this already have their own pressure washer guns and hoses and the ones that come with your products are, quite frankly, inferior and cheap. All this talk about reducing cost and you could greatly reduce your cost + plastic waste by allow people to buy the pressure washer by itself.
I agree. I use a Flexilla hose, an MXT lance and gun, stainless steel QDs, a high quality foam canon, etc.. And don't need or want those accessories. Just drop the price of the pressure washer and advise customers on where they can buy those parts. Or offer a kit.
I feel like you guys do such a good job at trying to understand the core audience for your products and cater to them while also innovating and developing things the way you guys want. That certainly doesn't seem like an easy thing to do nowadays and I hope these things sell great to continue the legacy of awesome Active products. I love my 2.0 and I'm pretty excited to get one of these 2.3's just because LOL.
Mr. James, you say that that you went with brass for the pump and better motor…WHY only a 2 year warranty for the price your asking? Why not increase it to 3 years? It’s almost double the cost of a 2.0….regards, Tony
I have no doubt this is going to be a great machine. Unfortunately out of my price range. Best of luck to all who get their hands on one. Also looking forward to Josh's review.
Love the design of this unit. I really like the cage / handles, moving this around as a mobile unit is going to be great. I wanna place this down on the ground, driveway, grass, etc and not worry about it tipping over. Truly great for those that are mobile and can't permanently mount a washer in their rig. Truly awesome!
Heck of an update. The transparency is always welcomed. It was mentioned that a 40 foot hose is included with the active 2.3. Is that hose any different to the 50 ft hose you guys are going to be selling? Will quick connects be included in the active 2.3 package? A video walkthrough of the entire package (hose, wand, spray gun, connections, etc) would be helpful for making a buying decision.
wow! it is 99% perfect, the only thing missing is the 50' hose, a 40' is still better than others but a 50' would make it just perfect!!!! amazing work guys, it looks lovely
I can’t wait to see the final product I’m currently running a gas pressure washer and now it’s time to go electric mainly because of the noise, so far this looks good if you can make it produce high numbers (gpm & psi) I’m willing to give it a shot. Price is good for a good product 👍🏼✌🏼
I think there is a a market for the upper enthusiast segment. A Kranzle (price) is bit tough to swallow as an ethusiast / non-professional. I've had an Active 2.0 for a few months, and it's been very good so far. I upgraded the nozzles, but everything else is stock. It's small and light. The sound seems on the quiet side for me, but I can understand if some may not like it. If you have a household and you wash 2 or more cars regularly, this 2.3 may be the sweet spot. If you're doing 1 or 2, I think the Active 2.0 is your best bet.
Love the redesigned shape of the foam cannon, it looks great. A suggestion , please make it very robust and that it does not break easily. I have used many of the "competitors" and a main gripes, here are some id like to share I have are: 1. Foam cannon opening. Most are too small to put soap in, a bigger opening better that 1" inch should be suffice, a 1.5" - 2.5" would work perfectly for a 1L or 1.5L. 2. The plastic where the top part of the cannon meets the conatiner should be strong. I have seen many foam cannons use brass to plastic, which ends up warping the bottle/breaking the container. I believe a fix for that would be using thicker/stronger material for the container and using a plastic cap to screw on to the container. 3. Orifice option. even with the provided with it, If a 1.25 orifice comes with the foam cannon already, we should have a 1.1 option to have since we will be possibly paying a premium for the foam cannon. Overall these are some I and a few of the people I know that detail their vehicles usually complain about. I used to think all stubby wands were the same until I used the Active stubby wand, it may be a bit more heavier, however there is significantly less fatigue on my hands and that is a huge plus to me. After trying this, I will be trying the Active 2.0 pressure washer next, since my cheap electric one finally gave out after 5 years. I love the 2.3 design and even though it is out of my price range at the moment, I plan to hopefully buy that one soon.
Any intention on selling just the machine without the rest of the kit? At that price point I’m sure prospective buyers already have or are looking at third-party accessories. I feel a $550 bare bones offering would be a great price point.
Looks really good, specs sound great and the price is way better than I was expecting honestly. My Active in disguise (Simoniz) I'm pretty sure just crapped the bed at the end of last year's car season and I've been holding off getting the 2.0 purely for this thing. Sounds like it should be a worth-while wait.
I would still want the middle crossbar so I could one hand carry out to my truck. 45lbs is really not a bad one handed carry, and I definitely think that's more ergonomic than two hand carrying in the front of your body. Not a huge deal because it would be a simple modification to make as an owner, and I understand most people might not ever move it.
I appreciate you guys providing info to your audience and listening as well. It looks like a great unit, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Boswell up near the on/off switch whether it be on another angle piece added on like it is at the bottom or just a piece at a direct 90 beside the on off switch facing straight up to keep the aesthetics going the way you have them.
Hey James! Thanks for making this! I just bought the 2.0 at the end of November and was wondering if those of us who preorder to support ya can get a 20% off promo or be able to preorder just the 2.3 washer only for like $525? I just spent several hundred on extra hoses, a new gun, a wand, and a foam cannon and I don't really need any of that so being able to save some money by getting the washer only (or 20% off for your loyal preorder ers) would be super sweet! Times are tough but I need this and my money is jingling not folding after all this inflation. On a serious note, you knocked it out of the park with the 2.3, thank you!! But 20% off on preorders would be an awesome way to celebrate the kickoff of the best Active so far! 🎉😁 ~Chris
Will you make it available without the cannon and hose for less money? I built a cheaper version of the OG layout and have my 2.0 on a stainless steel shelf. Are the hook up going to be in the same place?
As others have said. I really hope there's a tool only option. I have all the accessories already and the included attachments always get tossed in the garbage. Hopefully Active can figure out an efficient way to offer that.
Any Chance Canadian Tire or Princess Auto will carry this ? Why not have Princess Auto carry the Active brand and CTC their privately branded Simoniz? That would we awesome for our market.
I already have a kranzle but it's nice to see more focused products entering the marketplace, I can definitely see how the top percentile equipment in use right now is shaping the ecosystem and I imagine this will be a killer system in a couple years time once it's matured. Are there plans to roll out to the UK etc? I've only seen the gun available so far, which hopefully will get a sleeker more aggressive industrial design to go along with the 2.3 later along with a lighter/smoother swivel.
Man I love your pressure washers when they work but I currently have two Active units that leak from the head. Hopefully this new one will be more robust.
Make the frame Yellow!!! For god sakes man! Make this beast pop!! It’s already going to be selling out before it’s released.. make it stand out.. where some one can come up and say, damn what kind of pressure washer is this…. Let’s be honest, respectable detailers like something flashy!! I’m pre ordering this thing, but wish you made the detachable frame pop. You guys make a great product.. make it stand out!
I preordered and already own the 2.0 but please sell this as a "tool only" option like my Activ 2.0, I honestly don't want to waste money on accessories that I already have and will likely throw away.
kinda bummed about this. Literally was going to purchase the 2.0 after watching a couple videos on it and the connections, now im stuck between do i wait or buy something else to get me through until this comes out because my pressure washer is complete trash rn
This unit isn’t for the average consumer.. this is for car enthusiasts and detailing.. I love the design, maybe just add some color to make it pop. But I’m sure this unit will sell out immediately, so hopefully you have production ready to ramp up… This is for a specific customer but I don’t think you realize how many are waiting on it.
What’s the time frame on the wall mount solution looking like? I was about to piece together my own solution and reel next month but I might be willing to wait for yours.
Now that the 2.3 is coming out. Will you lower the price of the 2.0? I’m just wondering cuz I’m debating buying the ve52. But if you lower the price of the 2.0 I’ll probably buy the 2.0.
I purchased an Active 2.0 less than a year ago and the motor failed. It was installed in my home wash station with a dedicated 20 amp circuit with very light use. I tried calling Active and their customer service phone number is not working. I have sent emails and they are not at all responsive. I would not recommend Active Pressure washers unless you want to be left with a product that they don't support.
For mobile detailers like myself I can’t decide if I love this or hate it… it looks wayyy bigger than the 2.0. I need to save space in the van However it looks a lot more durable
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS for us mobile people , that space difference is MASSIVE! You should see my van lol it’s crammed to begin w I do think I’m sticking to the 2.0 because of this for now. But this unit looks like a beast!
Will obsessed garage sell this unit? Have they gotten a unit to review as well? Excited for this! My 2.0 has been serving me great, but this is calling my name haha
lol why would someone care about obsessed garbage doing a review? I would have a hard time trusting someone who has been known to fabricate stories about their experience let alone lying about them being “ocd” in order to profit.
Well im glad fedex never delivered the 2.0 i ordered, now im definitely going to buy this one. I just have to find a store near by that sells it cause i don't trust fedex to deliver even a $5 item.
Is this a close cousin to the Simoniz Platinum S2300 XE32 that is sold in Canada? 5-piston pump and induction motor are similar characteristics. More specifically, for someone in the market, would the correct ranking of performance (from lowest to highest) be Simoniz Platinum 1800/VE52, Active 2.0, Simoniz Platinum S2300 XW32, and then the Active 2.3? Thanks.
Wondering this too, they seem to share similar if not the same induction motor but simoniz just markets it differently with a high PSI. It's currently on sale and was wondering if I should pull the trigger on the simoniz instead.
@@rafsunrahman I sold my Greenworks and bought the Simoniz 1800 (VE52) when it was on sale two weeks ago. Then when the XE32 went on sale, I returned the unopened 1800 and picked up the XE32. I hope that I made the right choice!
@@rj240polestar I looked into the user manual for both products and the xe32 rates the machine at 2gpm @1200psi whereas the active 2.3 is rated at 2.3gpm @1100 psi (both induction motor). Knowing that active makes simoniz electric pressure washers and it being less than half the cost currently, I think it’s a no brainer.
@@rafsunrahman Yeah, that was my logic as well. I'll be setting it up sometime this week. I think it should be good. Should be significantly better than my Greenworks ever was.
@@joshvanderwal9190 I guess my thought was that it might be to close in price to his cheaper Krezla model. He dosent like to carry multiples of different items same price and category. They are quite streamlined. But hopefully he sells it. I think it will be a good seller
James, thanks again for providing such great products. On your website I had seen a package deal. It had the new preasure washer, a gun, hose, and foam cannon for around $700. Is that your top of the line new accessories? Thanks
You state you want the user to use the unit as want with removing the frame system put your only going to sell the machine as a package with your hose and gun. Most people like myself that have Active 2.0 have upgraded the gun, hose and adapters to a higher spec. Looks are important but I want better reliability and more GPM . Looks of the new deign is good but I am not buying the device just for looks but function and reliability. Sell device without the tools.
I think this item strays away from what made the 2.0 such a great option. Value, performance, price that a hobbyist could enjoy and afford. The price for this one steps into AR Blue territory. Granted you’ll need a 20 amp circuit however at this price range it’ll be limited to prosumers/professionals that will have a 20+ amp circuit to work with. $500 would have been a better place for this to exist but maybe that isn’t possible with everything you’re packing into it.
Sexy AF. Understand all your points about a cart, but I still think your design team would knock that out the park, I don't want some ghetto DIY option, so I guess I will have to carry it round. Keen to see how you price this in Australia, as I believe you went just a little to premium on the price tag given some of the local competition, perhaps you want room to run sales. Will the AU version be tuned for 10A, which is more standard and would align whith what you said about focusing on the consumer market, or will you run the 15A plug which is less common?
Totally understandable. We wanted the 2.3 to provide a solution so people can wall mount it directly without needing an additional purchase. If you already have a wall mount, you can put it there with the frame if it fits, or just remove the frame completely.
@@tony8354586 Hours matter more than years. If your experience and focus has been to buy cheap products and hope it doesn't crap out in a month, I guess warranty matters.
If your wanting a pw unit that is a little “beefier” on kranzle level you should look at the AR630tst. It provides superior output with higher gpm than kranzle with similar build quality.
Inductions motors have an approximate lifespan of 500 hours. In case there's an issue with the pump, we'll also be offering replacements to expand its longevity as well.
I want to order the 2.0 right now but I’m worried that a new version will come out this year. When is the plan for a new version of the 2.0? If it’s after 2025 then I feel comfortable buying the 2.0 now. Thank you.
Will putting a 1.1 orfice in MTM foam cannon to try to maximize foam damage the motor of PW ? Also, should I put a 25amp breaker instead of 20 or would that be over kill ? I Wash my car 3-4 times a week. @Activeproducts
Hi there. That orifice will likely lead to damage if used with such frequency. We recommend using the provided 1.45mm. For the amps, the 2.3 maximum current draw should be below 15A. If you're drawing more than that, it'll cause damage to the microswitch and capacitator. We provide a 4.6 nozzle with the 2.3, which is the one we consider the safest to use while maintaining the great levels of PSI and GPM for detailing.
I watched the video 2.3 numbers and looks to me like the 4.0 orfice for gun draws juat over 15 Amps. I like those readings . With my 20amp breaker can your motor handle that slight extra load? @Active Products
@@JC-Z06 The 4.0 orifice gets too close to 15A to consider it safe. The 4.2 seems to deliver a safer margin, but we'd recommend the 4.6 since that one, for sure, won't be drawing more current.

Love it! I just want to have the ability to get readily available parts for this after the $650.00 - $780.00 sale.
~Chris
Will you make it available without the cannon and hose for less money? I built a cheaper version of the OG layout and have my 2.0 on a stainless steel shelf. Are the hook up going to be in the same place?
Looks well built. My dream is one day these will offer rebuild kits and the ability to change the oil yourself
Love that it will be easy to wall mount. That's one thing I wish my VE52 had.
This is a must have upgrade in my garage.
Hopefully the new shelf solution you mentioned for 2024 is the one in this video. Those Q/Ds are sick.
You mean the one at 6:10? That one was made by our friends at @GCITurf.
I think you guys need to make the frame the notorious yellow color, other than than that… can we get this thing on the shelves?!! Looks amazing
Hopefully this new one will be more robust.
looks amazing cant wait to order one of these absolute units!
How long of a steal braided hose can we use with the 2.3? Looking for something longer than the 50’. Will it handle it?
I love my active 2.0 but at the $650 price point, I think I'm gonna look at the A R blue.
You're going to be looking at needing the 20 amp circuit as well.
Can't wait!
Ready
Who else knew this guy would be here so early. 😂
@@CarsWithKeav 😜😜😜I am fast as a f@rt 😜😜😜
Thanks for keeping it at 14amps
Make the frame Yellow!!! For god sakes man! Make this beast pop!! It’s already going to be selling out before it’s released.. make it stand out.. where some one can come up and say, damn what kind of pressure washer is this…. Let’s be honest, respectable detailers like something flashy!! I’m pre ordering this thing, but wish you made the detachable frame pop. You guys make a great product.. make it stand out!
Looks premium! 👍🏻 it should look really good wall mounted
Is this going to be available in Canada 🇨🇦 when and how much ?
Hey it's that guy from Tokyo Drift
Let’s Go! Pre-Order Secured! ✅😁
How did you secure a pre order ?!!?
I preordered and already own the 2.0 but please sell this as a "tool only" option like my Activ 2.0, I honestly don't want to waste money on accessories that I already have and will likely throw away.
How far out is the mount with reel for the 2.3?
Any idea when your accessory package will be available to purchase along with the 2.3?
Yes, I’d like to know this as well.
Not too long after launching the 2.3! We're aiming for early Summer 2024.
It should have been released with the premium swivel gun and with the new foam cannon they have.
I see the 14 amp description. What is the draw with the supplied foam cannon? Or more to the point, where can I get that info (if it is available).
We'll be providing a 1.45mm nozzle with the 2.3 to use with the after market foam cannons to ensure amps stay in the right levels.
Already set the reminder for March 25th
When do the early pre orders ship?
Whew was not expecting that price 🙃
kinda bummed about this.
Can two of these Active 2.3 be installed in a Tandem without any issues?
It would look good next to my 2.0 👀
How’s the reliability compared to the 2.0’s seemingly questionable run so far?
What’s the time frame on the wall mount solution looking like? I was about to piece together my own solution and reel next month but I might be willing to wait for yours.
Most likely end of Summer or early Autumn.
It's nice that the pump will be replaceable but for $650 it's a big ask to buy without having a rebuild kit available.
I need to save space in the van
However it looks a lot more durable
It's larger, but not that much. We did a size comparison with the 2.0, you can watch it here: ruclips.net/user/shortsxexL19NVDN4
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS thank you!
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS for us mobile people , that space difference is MASSIVE! You should see my van lol it’s crammed to begin w
I do think I’m sticking to the 2.0 because of this for now. But this unit looks like a beast!
If I already have 20A in my garage... At $650 it's hard to pick this unit over the AR.
@Active Products Inc. Cool video it is,may I know if it's ok for you to review our foam cannon S V3.0?Thanks in advance!😊
Well im glad fedex never delivered the 2.0 i ordered, now im definitely going to buy this one. I just have to find a store near by that sells it cause i don't trust fedex to deliver even a $5 item.
Hope it sells tool only. Must of us detailers already have the equipment.
There’s no such thing as “tool only” for pw’s so I wouldn’t get my hopes up
well 650 i may stack with my greenworks pro even it has turbo lag but it produce 3000 PSI 2.0 GPM plus i got it discounted :)
For this price you can almost buy the AR Blue?
Nice price for a quality product.
Looks nice
Thanks for the giveaway!
Question - when can we expect to see youtubers share their reviews on the 2.3?
Wouldn’t put so much thought into reviews from RUclipsrs. Better of just testing it out yourself
Do you think Obsessed Garage will be carrying this new model?
Why? Should be sold at a number of places
@@YuriTarded-hf1nv I was just looking to support him when he opens his store in Canada 👍🏻
I'd say so. He sells the 2.0 so I don't see why he wouldn't sell it
@@joshvanderwal9190 I guess my thought was that it might be to close in price to his cheaper Krezla model. He dosent like to carry multiples of different items same price and category. They are quite streamlined. But hopefully he sells it. I think it will be a good seller
Does it use total stop system?
James, thanks again for providing such great products. On your website I had seen a package deal. It had the new preasure washer, a gun, hose, and foam cannon for around $700.
Is that your top of the line new accessories? Thanks
Yes! We're launching a new line of accessories after the 2.3. They should be available to purchase in Summer.
Can't wait, I'm a mobile detailer and considering this for my garage. Was 650 cad or usd?
Happy to hear that, do send us your review if you decide going for it! It's $650 USD.
For hobbyists their offering is the 2.0. For those who are more serious this new 2.3.
Why did he get so excited about the "fins" in the beginning of the video 😂
He's very passionate about his design, it ended up just how he wanted it.
Perfect
14 amps. Are people going to be popping their 15 amp breaker using a foam cannon with the added load they cause?
James @ Active
Please respond to question as to will using a foam cannon on 15 AMP outlet cause issues.
We'll be providing a 1.45mm nozzle with the 2.3 so users can work with their after market foam cannons without popping their breaker.
@ACTIVEPRODUCTS ok thanks for responding. 1.45 nozzles are these very common to obtain. I will start looking before Mas rush to grab.
It would be great if we could purchase without the cage. I’m just going to wall mount it
Totally understandable. We wanted the 2.3 to provide a solution so people can wall mount it directly without needing an additional purchase. If you already have a wall mount, you can put it there with the frame if it fits, or just remove the frame completely.
The frame is great. Just set it in the wall kit
You state that it’s “better” why not offer a 3 year warranty a year better than a 2.0 if it’s built better?
@@tony8354586 Hours matter more than years. If your experience and focus has been to buy cheap products and hope it doesn't crap out in a month, I guess warranty matters.
better than the kranzle ?
Which Kranzle? 1122? One is rebuildable and one is disposable.
If your wanting a pw unit that is a little “beefier” on kranzle level you should look at the AR630tst. It provides superior output with higher gpm than kranzle with similar build quality.
Will the 2.3 be rebuildable, or is it terminal like the 2.0 after some number of hours. If the later, how many hours?
Inductions motors have an approximate lifespan of 500 hours. In case there's an issue with the pump, we'll also be offering replacements to expand its longevity as well.
I want to order the 2.0 right now but I’m worried that a new version will come out this year. When is the plan for a new version of the 2.0? If it’s after 2025 then I feel comfortable buying the 2.0 now. Thank you.
Feel free to buy it right now, no plans yet for a new version.
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS Thank you so much for taking the time to reply!!! I will be purchasing. I will be looking forward to your Foam Cannon.
Thank you for the Answer.
WooHoo!!!
