It's been years that I was contemplating moving from my Honda pressure washer to a more compact electric one. I almost bought a AR but decided to postpone a little bit up until this spring when I bought the Active 2.0 It's a magnificent machine. I even decided to build a new, more mobile kit with a Uberflex hose, everything quick connect as you've shown, keeping an old PF22 + SGS28 kit to complete this setup. It's amazing, but one thing I think is worth sharing as it could be useful to anyone to not make the same mistake as me while coming from a gas pressure washer, I had a 1.1mm orifice in my PF22 and at first I was wondering why the 15 amps breaker was tilting when using the foam cannon, the culprit was the orifice in the foam cannon that made the Active 2.0 jump to 19 amps (tested on a 20 amps outlet). I replaced the orifice with a 1.25mm and everything works fine now. I absolutely love this setup!!
Hey there, that's Fantastic! It's great to hear that you're loving your new Active 2.0 along with your own setup. I'm also glad that you're sharing your own experiences with us and we do agree that the information you shared was useful. The Active 2.0 does put out quite a bit of performance so I agree that switching to the 1.25 was a good call as you really want to match the performance and output with the right orifice, last thing you want to do is constrict the flow with a tighter orifice, so having the 1.25mm will definitely open it up the more. - Josh
Which connector did you use between the MTM foamer and Active gun? Also, do you need to use Teflon tape anywhere? Thanks for the awesome video!! I want to "customize" an Active 2.0, but have been hesitant to order for fear of not being able to put it all together. Video gave me more confidence, or, perhaps, you just made it look so easy!!! (:
Active states: "To ensure proper operation, steel-braided hoses are strongly recommended when using this unit." There's plenty of videos of people demonstrating the surge problems without them.
I wish you would show exactly what the two different kits contain. I just need the pressure washer by itself, I have everything else already and break down cost. I don’t want the junk you were selling with the full kit. I know it’s a year old video but I want to buy the 2.0 now, September 29, 2024.
Does the factory kit include the quick connects? are the quick connects necesssary to use or can you just screw on if you dont have them? I just ordered the active 2.0 kit from the official active website with the factory hose and gun does it include the quick connects? if the quick connects are necessary and doens't come with the kit do you have a link to buy them?
They don't come with quick connects. You can screw one, but when I ordered my quick connects, life became much easier. Highly recommended if you haven't got them.
@mikegalvin4655 Debating between MTM foam cannon and MJJC pro. I was gonna get MJJC S V3, but I'm on a budget. I actually purchased a cheap foam cannon from Amazon called Power town foam cannon and it's amazing. I might keep that until it gives out.
Hello I’ll like to say, I buy one 2.0 And I put 50 foot pro water hose and the uni stop working after 2 car wash. It happen twice . I call ACTIVE 2.0 customer service and explain that situación and I said it make my business look bad, the say that, the 2.0 is not meant to use in business, is meant to use in domestic use only, and NOT IS MADE FOR 50 foot water line. Is made for 20 foot only manufactured for 20 foot.
Are you guys removing comments??? I saw a comment earlier complaining about the markup price of the hose and reel costing $500…. I haven’t validated this but the comment is gone 🤔🤔🤔
Hi there - we removed those comments as we assumed they thought we were an American reseller. We do not want to confuse our audience - we are a Canadian company and we follow the Canadian Market Price guidelines for each brand. Additionally, we price-match our products with other Canadian companies for a fair market.
@@tocsupplies yeah thanks for responding, very informative response… I’ve been looking for a setup for personal use to wash my personal vehicles.. I’m deciding to get the Active 2.0 that was until I saw a new Active 2.3 will be released in 2024 I just don’t know exactly when?? Either way your company is obviously highly spoken about so this tells me y’all are doing right by those you service…. Keep up the good work..
The active 2.0 isn’t as great as everyone says it is tons of people are starting to report having problems with them shortly after using them for their detail business they’re not that reliable they start having vibration issues and surging problems just Google it and you’ll find hundreds of people talking about it a lot of them say the support is great and they sometimes have sent new units out to people but they come from Canada so it’s not like you can return it to a local store you’re stuck having to ship it out of the country and most of the time it’s sold out and you can’t even get a replacement for months I don’t know why so many RUclipsrs are claiming these are so great when they haven’t earned the title of being great they haven’t even been out long enough for reliability metrics to be measured instead I am seeing honest RUclipsrs that are reporting a lot of the defects with it and for what it cost sure it’s not the most expensive but it’s a lot more than some comparable more reliable ones out there in fact there’s some that you could replace three or four times for the price of the active 2 which is why I have stayed away from it until it’s been out longer and there’s been fixes made to improve its reliability.
Hey Dave, I understand your concern but sometimes most pressure washer errors occur because of user error anyways that's definitely something that we would like to discuss with you if you'd like to. Could you possibly help us find the RUclipsrs that you saw who are reporting defects? we would like to hear their experiences.
The break down and showing the different levels of set ups. Amazing video 🔥

I think almost all the problems people are having are related to this!!!
Looks awesome
I highly recommend my dude!
Hey awesome video!!! How would you describe the noise level of the active 2.0.
Like hearing your parents banging in the other room loud. Only noticeable if awake.
Screw it, I'm ordering the kit. Wife can just chill. lol

Active 2.0 with stock attachments go for 350. How are you charging 480 for the same machine?

Cap
Not true, if you read the FAQ you can run up to a 100' steel-braided hose on the Active 2.0

@@tocsupplieshow do you have a user error with a pressure washer where it stops working?
Have you ever heard of punctuation?
