- The design I wanted to stitch was too large for my largest embroidery hoop. This video shows how I split the design in two and realigned it during the stitching process so that the two parts would exactly align.
Video shot in HD 720p with a Kodak Playsport Zx5. Edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 10 Platinum.
Thank you for explaining about splitting designs. Very useful,
Linda x
I stitched my first multi-hoop design yesterday. I wish I had found your video first. Luckily my design was an applique, and no one can tell where I didn't hit the mark exactly, except on the back. Thank you, again for your excellent videos.
Thanks! I'm trying to figure out these things before I decide if I really "need" an embroidery machine.
Thank you for posting this. This is great information.
Thank you! I'm going to try stitching a split design today and creating the design was fairly easy, it just didn't come with stitch out instructions!!
I am using a Brother ULT 2002D. It's old, but still works amazingly well. It uses a floppy disk, believe it or not. ha!
So nice! Thanks for the inspiration!
Terri, I used Embird to split my design. Thank you for watching my video.
Very nice design! Good for you!
Thanks so much! Excellent idea!
I was wondering if you could explain the hooping process? Im working with a 4x4 hoop and having trouble when it comes to rehooping for the 2nd part of my design :(. For some reason I cant get them lined up correctly. Any advice you have would be GREAT! Thanks!
Thank you, Adreanna. For the best instructions I've seen on how to split designs and line up the hoopings perfectly, check out www.editingwizardry.com/order.html . I am not affiliated in any way, I just know that it is good instruction on how to do it. I wish you much success!
Thank you!
Thanks! I am trying this today.
I understand how to stitch the design but how did you split it? Software I'm assuming? if so could you tell me what kind. Thanks Terri
thank you, that helped a lot.
What program are you digitizing with? Many thanks.
Kate, I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to reply to you. I rarely check RUclips for messages. I guess I need to remember to do that in the future! I use Embird for digitizing and for embroidery file management and editing.
