Lovely work. Very inspiring. I'm brand new to weaving on a rigid heddle and I'd love to know what techniques you used of these.
Thanks! I'm trying to figure out these things before I decide if I really "need" an embroidery machine.
Thank you, this has been very helpful
Thank you so much! Love your video!
So nice! Thanks for the inspiration!
What program are you digitizing with? Many thanks.
Kate, I am so sorry that it has taken me this long to reply to you. I rarely check RUclips for messages. I guess I need to remember to do that in the future! I use Embird for digitizing and for embroidery file management and editing.
Beautiful...
Looks like complicated & a lot of learning to do.......too much info for a beginner......but after I learn basic, might come in helpful.....Thank You!
This is great Thank you so much. Do you have to format your usb stick to fat32 first. I saw that somewhere. Your instructions are excellent.
Ginny Defilippo Ginny, I've never formatted a usb stick. I just use it straight out of the packaging. Sorry I can't answer your formatting question. Thanks for watching my video!
Excellent tutorial for beginners. I wish you would do more!
Thank you for taking the time to produce this intro - it was very helpful.
Your sister is so lucky.
I stitched my first multi-hoop design yesterday. I wish I had found your video first. Luckily my design was an applique, and no one can tell where I didn't hit the mark exactly, except on the back. Thank you, again for your excellent videos.
This is an excellent video. You provided clear audio and video, and great timing of the presentation.. I can't wait to view more of your Embird videos. Thank you.
Thanks so much! Excellent idea!
I was wondering if you could explain the hooping process? Im working with a 4x4 hoop and having trouble when it comes to rehooping for the 2nd part of my design :(. For some reason I cant get them lined up correctly. Any advice you have would be GREAT! Thanks!
Thank you, Adreanna. For the best instructions I've seen on how to split designs and line up the hoopings perfectly, check out www.editingwizardry.com/order.html . I am not affiliated in any way, I just know that it is good instruction on how to do it. I wish you much success!
Thank you for your simplistic, enlightening video....I have listened and studied others but you make things clear and concise and your words as so easy to understand. I wanted to buy Embird, but I was so afraid.....I have a new Babylock and want to design my own monograms and this really helped. Great tutorial......do more.
Thank you, Sharon. I haven't made a video in a long while.... I hope to get back to it soon. Never enough hours in the day!
Thank you for posting this. This is great information.
Thank you so much for this video. It has made transferring designs so easy. Have you since made any other videos?
I am using a Brother ULT 2002D. It's old, but still works amazingly well. It uses a floppy disk, believe it or not. ha!
Thanks! I am trying this today.
Thank you! I appreciate your comment.
How nice of you to say that. Thank you very much! I have not used Amazing Designs, but if you decide on that software I'd love to see how it works for you. Make a video to teach me. ;)
Another clear and concise video. :-) THANK YOU.
Thank you for putting up your EMBIRD videos. I'm trying to decide between Embird and Amazing Designs. Seeing your videos is a big part of my decision making! I really appreciate the time you've invested.
Thank you so much for getting back to me a video is not necessary I will purchase the font engine for sure. Michele
You can open several letters at a time by using File, then Merge and then hi-lighting the letters you need and they will all open in the center of your hoop. Just move each one until you have them where you need them. If you're going to be doing a lot of designs with lettering, I suggest you consider purchasing Embird's Font Engine. It makes lettering so much easier!
Michele, thank you for your comment. I may not have time to make a video soon, but let me tell you how to put multiple letters in your design to spell words: Open the first letter - it will go to the center of your hoop. Move it over to the left. To open a second letter, go to File, then Merge and find the letter you want. It will open in the center of your hoop. Move it next to your first letter. To open more letters go to File, then Merge.
Hello, I am new to Embird as well love your videos very useful. I am having trouble trying to make a name. I can add one letter but only one at a time can you please do a video with how to make a name like Michele for example or Just Married. Thank you please let me know if you are willing to do this. My email is queenofhouse64@aol.com. Very new to you tube so not sure if I will get a notice if you add this. Thanks again Michele
Terri, I used Embird to split my design. Thank you for watching my video.
I understand how to stitch the design but how did you split it? Software I'm assuming? if so could you tell me what kind. Thanks Terri
Wish you would do more Embird turorials. I am new to program and your videos are clear and easy for me to follow and I understand the program more with your directions than reading the manual Embird furnished. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and time.
thank you, that helped a lot.
Very nice design! Good for you!
Thank you so much! Your step by step instructions are perfect, easy to understand and very precise. This has helped me so much, thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge.
Thank you! I'm going to try stitching a split design today and creating the design was fairly easy, it just didn't come with stitch out instructions!!
thx sew much...very helpful tutorial :)
This has been the best video that I have seen on machine applique. You made it very detailed yet easy to follow. Thank you.
Very nicely done video! I've been using Embird for years and am still learning things, as I only do pretty basic editing with it. (Just learned about masking here on RUclips!!) Your sister is lucky to have someone experienced to teach her, and thank you for posting your videos here!
Thank you!
Hi there! I am learning Embird and your tutorials are awesome! Your instructions are clear, easy to understand, and hear. I would love if you made a tutorial on how to add a name (lettering) to a design. Thanks again and keep 'em comin!
love your vid !
Thank you for explaining about splitting designs. Very useful, Linda x
Thank You for these clear easy to hear and learn tutorial on the Embird software. I have been embroidering with my MC Janome 10001 for over 6 years and I am now ready to go after the next level. I have wanted to change features many times in designs, but I didn't need it bad enough to buy any software. YET.. LOL thanks again
@06myfamily There's a learning curve to any new software, but yes, I'm sure you could learn to use it!
Thanks for this!
Thanks for posting this tutorial, very clear, easy to understand.....Im trying to learn before I purchase my software, your videos are the best!
Nice..
Thank you for your tutorial. Very instructive with a beautyful subject.
