I taught 2nd and 3rd gr. 33 years. You are a great teacher! You explained everything so well! I'm brand new at this. I hadn't seen anything about the puckering Snowplow technique or the attaching part of the hoop at the neck. I can't wait to try my first tshirt today! And no, you certainly didn't "talk too much". A + video! I'll search for more!
Good video! I noticed when you installed the hoop in the machine, you didn't mention about ensuring that the back of the t-shirt is pulled out so you don't sew the back and front of shirt together while embroidering. I realize this is assumed, but I bet there are a whole lot of people who won't admit publically that this is handy information to add.
I noticed that you did not put any of the clear water soluble stabilizer on top. I've seen so many that also "float " the shirt on the hoop. I kind of wish you would have gone ahead and made the design
i just got a PE770 today and wanting to know if there is a way to make the middle initial of a 3 letter monogram bigger then the other 2 with out doing the letters individually
I found a program called combine design that cost like 10$ and then I have found tons of free designs and have purchased a few to use, I don't use anything that came in the machine itself, it is really good machine but I wish j knew more before buying/ you can only embroider up to a size 5x7 I wish I could do bigger projects such as Kindergarten in applique words but this machine woknt allow that big of a design/ but for small projects like pocket and left monograming and children's shirts it's a great macnine
Dear Deborah I hope you can read this. I developed a embroidery device since I read one article you wrote for stitches magazine about 20 years ago. we now embroide pockets by the thousands. We can embroide the full width very narrow pockets. Example : 4" wide design can be embrided in a 4" wide pocket. Please let me know if you need one for your machine. Antonio Queiroz
