@Maylevka May How does that take away from his acting? He wasnt saying the theory made his acting great, he meant becasue its been ages since weve seen him, we forgot how good he was in season 1.
I find the biggest clue was Ned his honour honourable man dont cheat on their wife and also his reactions to when someone brings up his sister or Jons mother he always looked sad
I love how Papa Brian was so excited to show Hogwarts this video that he couldn't wait until the end of the episode. *lol* Awesome! Great reaction to this and to the season 6 finale!
I want to thank all the people behind Hogwarts Reacts. I was one of the few people to have watched the first ever video when it was released and have been watching every video and livestream since. It's been real great for passing the time and keeping the Game of Thrones hype going until season 8 starts. And of course, Hannah's reactions have been great and hilarious. 😁😂 Keep up the good work and keep being funny Hannah. Thanks Again, Ellis Farrow / Fazza
One scene that wasn't included in "that video" was Jon's conversation with Benjen. It sounds like Benjen is trying to make Jon really think about whether he wants to join the night's watch. Jon says something like "I don't care what I'd lose, I'm ready." And Benjen says "Maybe if you knew what you'd be giving up you would." This has me convinced that Benjen knew who Jon was. If that is true then that means that Ned trusted his brother with that information but not Catelyn.
FoxInRoch I agree. I'm convinced Benjen knew. Even if Ned didn't tell him right away, maybe Benjen joined the dots (he was close with both Lyanna and Ned) and Ned had no choice but to explain. Benjen joined the NW almost as soon as all of this happened... Hmm.
To be fair, Benjen is Ned and Lyanna's brother whom Ned knows he can trust and has a right to know too as he was most likely the closest to Lyanna (they spent the most time together and if Lyanna was the knight of the laughing tree then most likely Benjen helped her). Catelyn was a stranger and even when Ned learned more about her he knew she couldn't be trusted.
There's also the simple possibility that little Jon looked a lot like little Lyanna, so that might have helped Benjen figure it out. Catelyn was a stranger. They'd only just gotten married. Did she ever even meet Lyanna? I agree that Ned couldn't know whether it was safe to trust Catelyn or not.
I've always believed that Benjen figured it out on his own and that he had an 'unspoken' understanding with his brother, which may have been the reason he went to the Wall in the first place.
I LOVE how Hannah wasn’t spoiled at all and never suspected R+L=J. And I love the way you showed her that video of all the relevant mentions over the course of the series!!! What a perfect way to show all the details instead of having to actually explain every detail that ever came up about it. This is BY FAR my favourite of her reactions!!!!
I think it was smart to pause here and show her this. Many of my friends who were unsullied couldn’t function after they realized it. They pretty much didn’t pay attention to the rest of the episode and had to watch again. For reactions sake, good move.
@@unwanted107 wait, are you arguing purely from the books, and discounting the show entirely? Because everyone else, including me, are talking about the show here.
I have been a huge fan of this channel from the beginning and all I have to say is AMAZING JOB, with the reactions the editing and absolutely everything you guys do is awesome! Many thanks Watching this actually made me cry... again!
Jon is literally the song of ice and fire, the prince who wad promised. I'll never forget the feeling I had while watching that scene for the first time, it was absolutely incredible.
What everyone thought was Ned's greatest moment of weakness was actually one of the most honorable things he ever did. He was even more honorable then everyone thought he was, and that's saying something!
I watch and I've seen A LOT of reaction videos (it's my thing), but I have to say your's is the best. It was pure and organic and just priceless. You just gained another subscriber.
It's probably already been mentioned before but I always thought that the reason Ned said to Jon "The next time we meet I'll tell you about your mother" was because Ned knew that Jon would be safe from King Robert once he was a member of the nights watch. Once Jon had joined the nights watch Ned would be able to tell him about his mother etc...
i really do appreciate how much work u put into these videos Brian! excellent job on the montage! the effort u put in these videos really makes them so much more awesome!!!!!
thank you everyone at hogwarts react for doing this.. its been a long 4 months and I loved every second of it! heres to more bonus videos, sneaky livestreams, Q+As, stranger things and season 7!!
So when Ned Stark refuses to take part in King Robert's plan to execute Daenerys, it is a bit more than his honour that is at stake. He's trying to protect Jon's kin. He was being very practical and political.
I was already crying during the reaction of Jon's parentage... then I saw that there are 4 videos today and now I'm crying more 😭 thank you guys so much for this channel. We appreciate your work so damn much . Thank you thank you thank you ❤
At first I did question the decision to pause the episode to watch the R+L video, but the more I think about it I think it was a good decision. I've seen a few videos where the reactor did not know about the theory and they are either so blown away that they can't focus on the next scene or they do focus on the next scene and don't have time to think about R+L=J until later. Pausing it for Hogwarts seemed to work well! Her mind started at BLOWN and slowly went to TOTALLY BLOWN.
Yes!!! 3 parter!!! This is how you know an episode is so damn good... thank you all for your time... #TeamHogwarts is one hell of a team... Love you all so much
Did Benjen Know? When the show started there were tons of Targaryans alive. Robert's grandmother was a Targaryan, So, Robert, Stannis, Shireen, Renly , Gendry, Viserys, Dany, Jon, and Aemon. Now we are down to three, Gendry Jon and Dany.
I was hoping Hannah would figure out that Rhaegar was the father by herself. Because the fact that Rheagar ran off with Lyanna came up like 10 times in the show. I guess she forgot. Still, awesome reactions!
The theory is that Petyr Baelish started Robert's Rebellion with the lie of Lyanna's kidnap to begin with. This has not been discussed in the books or the TV series but it is a big fan theory and could be the moment when Petyr realized how far a lie will go and possibly what it could do for him.
Mhh, no. Ned chose family over honor. What he did was not honorful at all. He lied to his king and best friend, to his wife all those years, to protect his nephew. He was honorful, but atleast twice he decided against honor. There and when he confessed his „crimes“ in KL.
You probably should have explained to Hogwarts that at the time the video was made R+L=J was just a theory and had not been confirmed yet in the show or in the books. That might have helped her understand the last part, about Dan and Dave meeting GRRM and him asking them who Jon's mother is.
victorsixtythree. Yeah...The video would have a lot more credence for me if it had been produced by GRRM. But as it stands, it just feels like a fan theory played out against some well chosen clips that help to "support" it. I'm not convinced this is totally the way GRRM originally envisioned this story. For all we know, he might have given D&D permission to do it because he thought their theory was interesting. We'll see how the real master chooses to tie these loose ends with his next book... if there is a next book.
Just when I thought that after a hundred viewings and a million tears that the well was dry,you proved me wrong. Your reaction was phenomenal and moved me beyond my most heartfelt depths of emotions. The clips from the previous episodes made it all the more poignant. Thank you.i I think, lol.
Hannah missed two small but ultimately crucial points - Jon is not just a Targaryan, but Dany's nephew. More importantly, he's the son of her older brother Rhaegar, the Prince of the Seven Kingdoms, and so the ONLY legitimate heir to the iron Throne.
Ned's plan was that once Jon took his oath and no longer had a claim to the thrown he would tell Jon who he really was, because Jon would be safe at Castle Black. In the book the clues aren't nearly as blatant but once you start piecing them together it becomes pretty obvious. The only real question is, Is Jon really dead in the books, when he is stabbed in the books, Lady Stoneheart (Dead Catelyn Stark brought back to life) and the brothers without banners are only a few hours from Castle Black. The theory is Jon is inside Ghost, and in The Winds of Winter Lady Stoneheart will give Jon the kiss of life allowing Jon's body to heal and for him to return to his body and leave Castle Black to avenge House Stark. And that she will also give him Robb's will, which while he was King in the North, many believe he secretly legitimized Jon as Jon Stark.
5.53 for me from the very begining the time he spent with maester was a spoiler to he was the hiding prince.. I love how martin is using Homers tragic moment in his writing
The entire thing is so messed up....Rhaegar and Lyanna loved each other and ran off....Ned's father and brother think he kidnapped her....the mad king kills them...that sets off a war. I wonder if Rhaegar truly was going to kill his father if he had won the battle of the Trident?
Not continue, them knowing who Jon's mother was was a condition for HBO getting the show. If they had gotten it wrong GRRM was going to shop the show to someone else.
Crazy thing is...what Ned did, saving Jon and bringing him up, was treason in a way. Harboring what Robert would have seen as a enemy. I think when Ned said that he was confessing his treason, I think this is what he was thinking about in his head.
React channel videos 'zurik 23m' Jon Snow || The White Wolf Jon Snow || The Wolf With Dragon's Blood Jon and Daenerys || Ice and Fire and the other videos from game of thrones by zurik 23m is the best
Why does everyone think Ice and Fire are Jon and Daenerys, instead of the Lord of Light and the Night King or Drogon and the Night King If the Red God is real, why wouldn't he posses Drogon one of his priest/priestesses and battle the Night King? Who has shown they are so cold, they can walk through fire? Maybe even the Three Eyed Raven will posses Drogon and battle the Night King? Isn't Bran supposed to fly.Think about it.

Theguywhoisright Always Yir it said so in the next video, so I had incomplete data avaliable at the time of writing. But I thank you for the information.
Another split second early clue was when the walker attacked Jon. Commander Mormont was holding the handle of an open lantern and when the walker stood up Jon grabbed the flaming part of the lantern, not the handle, and threw it at the walker.
Eh, that's not really a clue. He grabbed where he could get his hands on, and it burnt his hand pretty bad. In the books, he spends a long time in pain from the burn on his hand, and after that he continues to "flex and unflex" his burnt hand constantly, cause of the pain and numbing the scarring left.
If she hasn't seen it already, can you do a video of Hogwarts reacting to Hunter Boyle when she deduces R+L=J? (It is towards the end of her after-episode discussion of 6.04, beginning around the 31 minute mark.)
You know a character is awesome (Ned Stark) when all the others, even his enemies respect and talk about him even 6 seasons after his death.
Aerys Targaryen: am I a joke to you?
What about Aegon Targaryen? 300 years after his death, everyone knows him hahaha
What about Rhaegar, he doesn't appears in the show, or the novels, and still all the story seems to be around him
That was the most satisfying reaction I have seen to the R+L=J.
It's also the best edited video about the R+L =J theory(or fact now that it's been confirmed i suppose)
What video is this?

I shall patiently wait for Wednesday for s7 :-D
Fucking spectacular
thanks for being here always - so glad you loved it
Pretty sure its Monday
Theguywhoisright Always Yir it said so in the next video, so I had incomplete data avaliable at the time of writing. But I thank you for the information.
Another split second early clue was when the walker attacked Jon. Commander Mormont was holding the handle of an open lantern and when the walker stood up Jon grabbed the flaming part of the lantern, not the handle, and threw it at the walker.
Of course, I didn't realize the connection until viewing several reaction videos ... LOL.
How is that foreshadowing? Because there was fire? Really? He burned his hand. Or are you one of those that think Targaryens are immune to fire?...
No, the split second early clue was the R + L carved in the post at Castle Black!
I never read the books and on the show the viewer never sees him in pain or burned. But, it's no big deal.

Good lord this was GOOD! - Yvette
If she hasn't seen it already, can you do a video of Hogwarts reacting to Hunter Boyle when she deduces R+L=J? (It is towards the end of her after-episode discussion of 6.04, beginning around the 31 minute mark.)
