He's not the only one. Ancient techniques work best. You can be assured huberman has read into these along with many others and then claiming themselves to be pioneers.
Just did this while I was relaxing by the beach, and it was absolutely incredible having a seamless transition from being in my happy place to being in the current, "room" I was in. This meditation is so powerfully relaxing and uplifting it's fantastic. It's helped me so much on days when I didn't sleep well too. Big shouts out!!
Love #AndrewHuberman! Watched him on Lewis Howes (Feb 19, 2021 episode) and clicked the links provided in the notes and here I am ... working hard on learning more about relaxation and meditation and how the brain and body are connected. Amazing stuff!!
God, I love this video so much. Genuinely wish I knew that I could get sleep like rest without sleeping years ago in college when I was constantly running off of fumes. It's absolutely incredible how much more rested I feel after this. It feels like I slept for a couple hours, which is amazing because I've wasted so much of my life trying to go back to sleep when I didn't sleep as well as I wanted to
thANkyou for this deep beautiful experience. it got rid of some of the tension in my gut that has been difficult to let go of..sat nam...namaste, love your voice
I was skeptical ofgetting into a deep test while my kids were running wild(with their dad, calm down) in the other room, but I am glad to say this was very helpful! Thanks #andrewhuberman
This was really deep and satisfying. Thanks! I learned some interesting insights about my favorite places in nature, and my ability to be comfortable...
Really useful and unusual. This meditation, unlike any other yoga nidra meditation I have seen brings the setting of intention to the forefront of the exercise and also tells you how to use visualization of your own choosing instead of stock ideas like waves crashing on palm beaches.
Beautiful yoga nidra meditation! Thank you dear Niraj for this lovely meditation👍 Bless you and bless all the work you do to spread light and knowledge to the world 🙏🏻♥️
We love hearing your beautiful experiences! Have you tried our latest breathwork meditation? I'm dropping the link to it here for you so you can check it out: ruclips.net/video/aSIDDWhA-Sk/видео.html
i bought a cpl of your other products to help me fall asleep fast and stay asleep....but nothing worked....can you please make a youg nidra specifically for falling asleep and staying asleep for at least 6 hrs without getting up......thank you
From experience, if you have chronic sleep-onset and sleep-maintenance insomnia, you may need to do yoga nidra multiple times a day for a few months to fully restore your sleep.
Hi, I had issues with sleeping, I could sleep only with pills, this summer I quit the pills I couldn't sleep for 2 weeks or more, I was awake all the night and all the day, there were moments when I didn't feel my body at all I felt so tired, after a month maybe I started to sleep again with no products and medicines I wish you good luck, insomnia is the new world pandemic
Hey! This is the perfect session to do before going to bed as it's designed for stress reduction and sleep. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask anymore questions you may have, we're always here to help 😊
Hey! Great question - based on the video's description, this type of session is best designed to do before going to bed. We do have other more energising sessions which are great for starting off your day. Let me know if you'd be interested in sharing some with you, we're more than happy to help! Feel free to ask any more questions you may have 😊
@@SOMABreathhey it’s a little late on my side, but I’d like to thank you for your response! I usually do it before bed and really enjoy it. It makes me feel at relaxed and sleep fast. I do it in my bed though with a pillow. In the video it says to lat flat on the back. Do you know if there is a difference between with pillow or not -> I mean as in is there any scientific research saying it is better to lay flat without a pillow?

@@ItsRefuseDdLOL you can actually do it any time during the day, doesn’t have to be strictly at night, as the idea is not to actually sleep but to get benefits of yogic sleep, which is a deep rest that is much more rejuvenating for the soul and mind than normal sleep 😴 Lying completely flat is the best but using a pillow is perfectly fine if it’s more comfortable x
When one is told set a sankalpa, they should be given some time to set one ... not keep talking. It's really annoying when the narrators keep going on. There should be at least a 10-15 seconds.
i listened to this today for first time and yes he shoulf have given more time. but tomorrow I will be ready with my intention before doing the meditation
You can start coming up with your Sankalpa before starting yoga nidra and research suggestions through Google and from the books of the different lineages of yoga nidra. Typically, you want it to be a short positive affirmation that you can say three times without running out of breath. It can also be a felt sense (as in a visceral sensation that connects you with a feeling of calm stillness or radiant joy), an image of the life you want to live, or even a word or sound, however. It should be self-empowering, focused on you and your deepest, heartfelt desire that you want to experience in life, stated in the present tense, and phrased in a way that resonates fully with you. You can also have a primary intention for Self-realization or a secondary intention to help along the way to clear the path for your primary intention. There is a way to give yourself more time to allow your Sankalpa to reveal itself. That is, you can mentally guide yourself through the rotation of awareness body scan and breath awareness in Shavasana to refine your Sankalpa in a more relaxed brain state so that it could arise from within without intrusive thoughts. That way when you get a recorded session, you are ready to set your resolute vow and intention. You keep trying variations until you know you have the version that you know and feel connects with your entire being. That's how I did it for my Sankalpa.
Here with the Huberman Lab podcast crew!

Should I do this in the morning, Midday or before sleep. Or rather, is it okay to do this before sleeping?

Is there any difference between doing this on the bed vs the floor? Is one better than the other?
Yes both are fine
Yes both are fine
Nothing is better but floor is more related to Mother Earth as per Hinduism hence they always practice on floor
