- A few years ago I went on a walk by myself. I wanted to get my steps in before starting the weekly livestream hangout.
During this walk I had an idea... we should start a community magazine! I mentioned this idea during the livestream and the uke fam watching started commenting their ideas on how to make this happen
We started with a free digital magazine, which you can see it at ukelandiamagazine.com
But some people asked when we would launch the physical magazine so that they could feel it and read it in real life, not on their screen.
GET YOUR COPY SENT BY MAIL!!! To receive one of these beautiful magazines by mail, go to ukelandiashop.com/products/uk...
During the video I talked about our in-person events. You can learn more about our next in-person event and save your spot by going to www.ukelandiashop.com

Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
Hello from sunny Southern California! ❤ I’m coming to Canada next year to host an event in Vancouver!! It’ll be my first time in Canada 🇨🇦
Always so natural ❤ That mag looks awesome Bernadette 🌸🌼🌺🌿 keep up the fantastic work 🤩
If it hasn't been done, a series on the history of the ukulele would be fun. From the history of Portuguese immigrants developing it in Hawaii to its presence in current music, there's a lot to explore.
I love that this current copy has come out during the Christmas season. Without my prompting, my husband asked, "Is there a Ukelandia Magazine that I can get for you as a gift?"
🙊🙊 I didn’t know if you knew!! It’s on its way
"It's a big PDF" ...perfect! Look at yourself now! Way to go
Merry christmas,thx for your lessons
Great channel. You are a great instructor. I’m hooked!👍👍👍🇨🇦
That's Amazing. Great work guy's. I would ❤ to get that. Starving artist, but maybe someday. 😁✌️

Well don't get messed but Bernadette really looks like Krish Jenner...😂

Hello! I have not taken a single ukulele class in my life, but thanks to you I have learned how to play lots of songs. For your next tutorial, I think “funeral” by phoebe bridgers would be a beautiful song to teach, plus I have always wanted to play that song on the ukulele and I struggle to find good tutorials,❤
Do you know the song "Neon Rainbow" by the box tops. It was a childhood favorite of mine. I do not think any other youtubers are doing it.
Cool shirt
Could I be an instigator and get you to do more in regards to baritone ukuleles? Could you do more lessons and challenges. There is not complete lessons or 30 day challenges. Could you do more for the brand new to both the ukulele and baritone at the same time?
You mentioned a way to listen to some music that you and some others played together by scanning a code. Is it possible to listen to on its own, without purchasing the magazine?
Yes of course! Do you prefer Apple Music, Spotify, or RUclips Music? I'll share the link to the album :)
Tidal is my favourite, because they pay the artists better, but Spotify also works.
I would love a link! :)
Hello there. I love your tutorials.
I actually have a request. You know the song On we go by Nancy Mccallion?? Could you please share a tutorial for that? 🌸
Hello Bernadette. I am new to the ukulele. I have been playing less than three months and the fingernails on my strumming hand are worn down completely. While I can live without fingernails, the sound just isn’t the same. What so you suggest?
Look like ❤
u should teach the song i'm not ok by jvke it's kid friendly
Please answrr "which type of ukulele you use"
I'm from south africa. Retired school principal. 3 weeks into ukulele playing. Big person big fingers. Trying my best to play. Have concero. Betteling,, help
Patreon Question. Sorry, I know this isn’t tech support but I am trying to send Bernadette money and Patreon’s somehow making it difficult. On December 9th, I paid Patreon $55 and ever since then, Patreon insists I need to pay an additional $5 or month a month to gain access to all the printables. What the heck? Is this how Pat is supposed to work: You give them a lump sum to start with and then you have monthly payments? That seems odd. As their Help Center is no help, I am asking for your all’s advice.
Thank you for at least reading this far and again, sorry to intrude with a non-ukulele question.
