Luckily, I live in a village where I hear the language spoken every day. But I think that a language learning App is a great idea for anyone not so lucky. Speaking of which, your battery failure was extremely lucky to occur before you left! I advise you to learn about your vehicle, inside and out. Learn how everything works, what goes wrong, what spares and tools to carry and how to fix it. If you can DIY you'll save time, money and hassle (as you proved with the water problem). Hopefully not too late. But please check your antifreeze concentration! If your battery is anything to go by, I suspect it'll be too weak for those temperatures.
Best of luck
It's a minus 40 one we are told
Buy an additional vehicle battery keep it warm & fully charged in your living pod ( make space for it ). Best of luck !

Or maybe just one of those jump start gizmos plus leads.
You'd better leave a window open if you're going to be eating all those beans lol 😊
😅
You could get a small folding plastic stool to step on to reach tail gate easier, with string on it to pull it up into van so it doesn't get stolen?
Ah! the dreaded cheapo folding plastic stool, make sure you tread on it in the correct orientation. I learnt the hard way in Greece stepping out of our sliding door holding two bowls of yoggi and fruit pudings, step collapsed and so did i, threw the puds over my wife seated just outside and i skinned my shin badly requiring a great cleen up and daily dressing changes. I'm T2.
Good luck as you travel on….Bruges looks amazing.
It's incredible, well worth a visit
Liam you two have more bad luck with automobiles in a week than I’ve had in 40 years driving ! I bet if you bought the worlds most reliable car it would break down on your way home ! Stay safe x

At minus 40c what stops the onboard water from freezing solid.?
The insulation...we just don't leave the door open 😊
@@ThoseHappyDays The pipes will freeze
You go, Liam and Janine, enjoy your adventures you are travelling in a modern country so there should be no surprises. There should be good support for you. I enjoy your videos and I think of you as the Ron and Eth of van life, keeping us happy 😂😂. It could be that England gets all the snow and Santa has none, you could have all the luck ❤.
Go from Peacehaven next time its even cheaper xx phone booking office rather than booking on line :)

How will Janine copy with the cold weather as she is cold most of the time in Britain.
Let's see...she is a strong girl
Good luck both on your journey and adventures ❤.
Put a peg in the bottom dump valve...look up " clothes peg " in wild camping
Thank you, we will take a look 😊
Our Truma boiler itself takes 11L of water to fill it so 5L is not enough.
Don’t forget spare gas bottle you don’t want cold Brussels sprout sandwich for Xmas dinner xx
Haha, no we definitely don’t 😳
And maybe spare battery as well 😘
Cold pickled brussels sprouts from fortnums, very nice too but maybe i'm weird?
