Jay had to manually cycle the rifle at least twice with the Huxwrx Flow 556. I guess the gas system on that rifle was tuned for higher back pressure cans. Worked fine with the new Q can 😜 I think the engineer knew that comparing a low back pressure k-can to this new Q thing was apples and oranges. Jay doesn’t care because he always has the munchies. I bought an 8.6 Blackout Fix. I tried to buy a Q Porq Chop suppressor for many months but they weren’t in stock anywhere. Q invented the “Plan B” attachment system AFAICT, but Rearden Manufacturing has a much better selection of muzzle devices and suppressor mounts *available* that are 100% compatible. Now that the SAAMI application for 8.6 BO has been shelved, I guess it’s a dead cartridge. Q hasn’t updated that load data Faxon published for years and it shows exactly one powder - AA 1680. Published data for different bullets and powders would help those of us who invested in 8.6 Blackout. Meanwhile you can get pre-fit barrels for Hornady’s crappy 338 ARC all over just a few months after the cartridge was announced.

All attributes of a can are tradeoffs to others to different degrees. An rc2 puts more value on durability and signature reduction than being as quiet as possible, sacrificing weight as well. @@hikeskool that’s not the point. The point is that Kevin has been critical of Pew, an independent testing org based on their fees for analysis of suppressors. All that being said I agree with you that it wouldn’t make sense for a competitor to pay to be in some other products advertising. So why are there any other cans in this video that aren’t made by pew? The only reasonable conclusion is that the cans featured were selectively chosen to make the southpaw look like the best thing available. If that is the case then they really should call it science.

Where are the B&T offerings?
Great video guys, only thing missing was hay bales 😎
😂
So we’re gonna skip the shooter’s ear test for convenience, right?

Lmao, Kevin comparing a full size can to a K can is peak Q, just like how the dude actively tried to portray 8.6 subs as better than 308 Winchester at 1,000 yards
The South Paw is a K can and is superior to everything on the market. I never said 8.6 subs were “better” than 308 at a 1,000 yards. I stated the fact that 8.6 subs have more energy and are high velocity at 1,000 yards than 16” 308. Stop being a loser.

All attributes of a can are tradeoffs to others to different degrees. An rc2 puts more value on durability and signature reduction than being as quiet as possible, sacrificing weight as well. There is no best can unless someone found a giant leap forward in materials science or something. And even then, its unlikely.
