Glam rocker and American Idol alum, Adam Lambert sold his equally glam-rock contemporary mansion above Sunset Strip in 2020. He sold the property at a loss, but still collected nearly $3 million in the process. In my opinion the stunning home suited him perfectly. However, in 2018, Adam did upgrade to a 5000 square foot home not too far away, where he still currently lives. In this video we’ll check out both of his sleek estates - and I’ll let you be the judge which of which one is nicer.

Get your facts straight plz Adam’s starter home came before BOTH of these homes and had a modern Tudor look to it.
@@athenaf8278 Adam's 'starter home' was a rental. These are the only two he's actually owned.

Adam has redecorated his new home a lot since these photos are from the real estate listing. He's painted the walls and accessorized so very Adam with jewel tones. It's very beautiful. I love both homes.
How do we find and see the renovation photos?
he gave a tour of the living room area during lockdown, its all in blues and greens, most of which he sounds to have decorated himself, and has fabulous green sofas. The white fireplaces are now a black layered sort of stone that goes through to his kitchen. The house is full of plants, macrame plant holders, art works and an upcycled sideboard he painted himself with copper lamps and amazing blue and green rugs. His bathroom now has a black marble tub and a huge walk in wardrobe and shoe room that he also gave us a glimpse of. The interior is totally different to those estate agent photos. it looks like a really happy home, he always has friends staying with him, it looks like a home, not a show house with his dog always asleep on the couch next to him and he has lots of house parties if you look on youtube.

because he showed people round in lockdown when he did live chats from home and he posts loads of photos of the inside of his home with Pharaoh his dog.
I prefer Adam's 1st home, but I would change up the colour to a monochromatic blend of either aqua and white or yellow and white. Love the outdoor covered space , it's beautiful, tranquil and inviting.
I loved both homes. The starter home was much more stylish. And had enough room for just starting out. The newer home is lovely and more room. But the 1st home looks more like Adam.

Looking at the footage here of both homes, I would prefer his first home. However, he has redesigned and redecorated his new home and it does not look like the one shown here. It is more colorful and more Adam.

His new house doesn't look anything like that now it's been completely remodeled in his famous green famous green colors it's absolutely fabulous now with his artistic touches.

The first house looks way more like Adam than this 2nd house. I think these photos are taken from real estate listings, so I'm sure the 2nd one has been redecorated to be more Adam by now.

I liked the first home, which seemed to offer more privacy. He has done well for himself and that is great.
I like the second home because is welcoming the natural light. I think of his outward personality as when he is singing and performing, as if saying I do not have to hide. Honesty in art and honesty in my life style. The former house seems to be like a hidden structure like tucked away and kind of darker, great for a person that prefers to hide and I get the impression that he is not like that. The second house is looking upward and at a higher ground level, as if reaching for the stars very appropriate for this period in his personal and artistic life.
his 2nd home doesn't look like that at all. he's had it completely redesigned, refurnished & redecorated. it's much more colorful & customized. you might wanna do a little more research next time. ✌😊

Maybe it was not available to see all the supposed changes? Celebrities don’t always want the new home to be shown all over social media for privacy reasons But somehow you know all the changes? Pics from the listing are usually what is available. You should do your research.

The main problem with house number one is that the pool you see is just a foot or two deep. I'd call it a reflection pool with lights in it. You CAN NOT swim in it. I remember when the pool was being built. I thought it was a complete waste of money and a huge mistake. If that had been an actual swimming pool, the house would have sold much faster and for a lot more money.
Yes, it was a mistake. I think he admitted that in an interview.
@@janetmiller175 He wanted a full pool, but was told the large equipment needed to do the work couldn't be gotten into the backyard. The contractor suggested the reflection pool to Adam and Adam agreed to it, but he wasn't there to oversee the work, as it was done while he was out of the country on tour. When he saw it when he got home, he wasn't happy with it because it was much larger than he thought it would be, taking up most of his backyard.
I never heard of a 2 ft deep pool. When I think of it, however,. that's so Adam. He is so unconventional { I love that about him} he walks to the beat of his own drum so the pool seems like something he would do.
@@lorraineflynn2227 It's actually NOT Adam. He wanted a full sized pool, the contractor told him it wasn't possible and suggested the reflection pool. It's way too large for his yard and he wasn't at all happy with it when he came home and saw what he ended up with. It wasn't Adam's idea and not what he wanted, so not his fault.
Bummer he had a lazy contractor. A 300.9D Cat would have worked. He should have hired Jeff Lewis.
I feel his first home is much more dramatic and impressive. It also seemed like more of a party house with the large patio 'L' sofa and more.

We all know that Adam should have won. . Ii was a blessing in disguise because if Adam had won he would have been obligated to AI's rules . He would not have been free to do his own thing and go his own way. Adam's fan know that Adam is a free spirit that loves to do his own thing. God works like that . To man's understanding Adam lost but to God Adam won. He won freedom to do as he pleased. He was snapped up by Queen. the greatest rock band in history. I loved his first house but her second house was very pretty too I saw them but the first one had a little more style to it but this one has a lot more room and of course the backyard is just beautiful I love the pool and it looks a little more private

I’m liking the newer home. True his older home had more character and charm , but the newer home seems to conform to him . With the jewel toned colors I’d imagine that would be beautiful. Green and blue are two of my favorites as well as the streamline black. That would be right up my alley too .

+RANDOM COMMENT FOR SOMEONE... I heard this story somewhere and I was thinking about it today. I just wanted to share it. Here it goes. There was a guy in an SUV driving that was frustrated he didn't get the car he wanted from the car lot. A homeless man walked by and looked at him. He said to himself, "what I would do to have a car." As the homeless guy was checking into a homeless shelter , there was man. He only had shorts on with no shoes and no shirt. He said to himself, "what I would do to have that man's outfit, and his shoes and his bicycle." After that the AMR was coming to the homeless shelter, there was a man on a stretcher. He was going out staring at all the people that were waiting in line for their beds, and the man who knew he would die that night. He thought to himself, "what I would do to have all their health."Just know wherever you are that Jesus loves you and someone would love to be in your place.

All of the L.A. homes and throughout most of California, are architectural gems. But if you've never experienced an Earthquake such as I did 50 years ago while growing up as a kid in L.A. in 1971, then you might think twice -- or thrice! -- before purchasing a home there, much less on a hill. Decades later, when I heard that L.A. had built a SUBWAY, I immediately thought: "WTF?"
I was in that 1971 earthquake, I was an adult and it terrified me.
The first one‘s texture is quite awesome. Meanwhile, the 2nd one has a Chinese Southern architecture's feeling. If I need to choose, the 2 one is better for peace&enjoying.
