The fans that come support them are straight and non straight. They are loved for their music and not turned away for who they are. You really were a leader in the brave wave that helped changed things. Listening to this interview was everything on a day that I am feeling overwhelmed and afraid of all the horrible politics trying to extinguish us. I am sooo proud of this young man!!! Having been around and having watched dear friends struggle with their gayness and wanting to be just like everyone else. I've watched several relatively recent Lambert interviews in a row, and one theme that kept repeating was how "different" the scene was back when he first broke out. And I keep thinking how sad that is. The arts are probably the BEST area in which gay people can truly be at home and in the open with who they are. Freddie Mercury and Elton John were certainly at the top long before AD. If I'm not mistaken, Melissa Etheridge was, too. And yet.... the backlash Lambert suffered was almost disgusting. WHY should people have been so shocked by him? He's a great artist; what the hell does his sexuality have to do with anything? There are millions of straight people who are the biggest a-holes you'll ever meet. But are they automatically "better" than Lambert because he's gay? YOU'RE the problem if you think so. Live and let live. Period.
I just admire Adam Lambert, he is so articulate and in control of what he says. I never saw the American Idol when AL burst onto the scene, I only saw him as a guest appearance on this show a year or two later and I just was amazed by him. What a talent.

Adam is so honest about so many things. He reminds me in some ways of the late great George Michael and his honesty in interviews. The difference is you could see Adam is very comfortable in front of the camera where George was not.

This has been a awesome interview. My daughter is going through a difficult time with anxiety and I’m going to get her to listen to your words on how You have been able to deal with it and what works for You to get through it. I am a 72 year old and I am trying to understand the trans movement, and I truly believe most trans people do not like what they are seeing in the female sports world. I have a very difficult time allowing very young children making the physical transition, I feel,they are far too young to make such important decisions in their lives. I have no problem with Gay or Lesbians having and raising children. I would also like to say I believe You could sing any song that was given to You. Your voice is truly amazing and I look forward to many more interviews and videos You will be putting out. Thank You for sharing your story. ❤️
