I have been watching Freddie Mercury on youtube this season. My God he was so talented and amazing. So sorry to have lost him so soon but grateful that his talent will live on. Adam Lambert is an amazing talent also! We are lucky to be able to still watch Freddie, George and Prince. Miss them all.

Adam always amazes me with how grounded he always is. He is never overwhelmed when being interviewed. Just love him. I have always respected RuPaul too. I remember the interview he did with Oprah. RuPaul has so many great insights. Hope the show gets picked up.

i see adam lambert and i click. saw him perform with queen probably 5 or so years ago and it was absolutely amazing. true testament to his skill as a vocalist and performer, very charismatic and captivating. never watched american idol but looked into all his music since that concert. i love what he stands for! sarah and parker were a wonderful story too

I am an older, straight woman, but I have gay family members! We love unconditionally, judging someone because of who they love is hatred, actually fear. It’s Fear of what the straight person doesn’t know. I would love to become a member of the Mom hug movement! ❣️
I just cried when the mom came on and stated what her organization does. How loving is that? I lost my gay son 6 months ago and this was so hard, yet beautiful to watch. I plan on advocating for my son when I'm ready and this mom has really helped me and inspired me at the same time. And Who the Hell doesn't Love ADAM!!!???? OMGOSH! I fell in love with Bohemian Rhapsody and I'm going to Queen's concert in August! Yay!!! Thank you RuPaul for an awesome show! Love you so much!

I'm a 64 year old mother and grandmother. My oldest son is 40 and still lives with me. When he was 28 I came home from work and he was sitting on the edge of the bed crying his eyes out. I went over gave him a hug and asked what was wrong. He gags out " I think I'm guy" I busted out laughing and he got mad and said why are you laughing. Me: I've known you were gay since you were 2. He's like why didn't you tell me. Your mom is not the one to tell you your gay. I thought you'd figure it out. I love you and your my son. You're sex life is yours.if you knew what I've done it would curl you toes. Your my best friend,the greatestest friend so wash your face and we'll go have a coming out drink. A couple years later I became ill. He worked a job and would come home and take care of me. He's still with me but he has a few unsuccessful relationship. He tells them it's a package deal. Me and my mom. I feel bad that between work and me he's had no relationship. But he says his time will come. He's tall, dark haired, Brown eyes and not cause I'm his mom he's very handsome. He has a heart that's so loving. The people who we've told have never had a negative thing to say. He not a swissie. His word for no outward gay signs. Moms and dads love you children for who they are. I've never been prouder. He has an over achiever sister and a goth brother with 2 little goth girls who he has custody of. So we're a very diverse family.
Everyone supports each others lives. I hate when parents instead of embracing the kids they spend time trying to figure out what caused this. It's called pride. We've taken in several gay strays. Guys who we thrown out of their homes for telling their parents they're gay. It breaks my heart. They get love and lots of talking. Once they accept themselves they're able to live their lives. So God bless all LGBTQ.

I like thinking that Freddie sent Adam not only to Idol but to Queen too. Freddie knew Adam wasn't gonna take over and fill his shoes or take the credit he had created. But he knows Adam will Queen alive as well.

I came here for Adam but RuPaul is a really good interviewer. He asks good questions and lets his guests speak without interrupting. He isn't always angling for a laugh. It's not all about him. He wasn't judgemental about the mom who didn't accept her son when he first came out-- he just listened to where her head was at at the time, because of how she was brought up. I have always liked him. I've seen him interviewed several times on late night shows and like Adam, he seems like a very nice person. They both have good energy.
I didn't even know who RuPaul was. I watched this episode because Adam was on it. I'm SO glad I tuned in. Loved the show and will watch again.

Sarah is an incredible woman and this story not only moved me to tears, but I really hope this episode helps other Christian family members of LGBTQ+ family members. It's so important and people need to understand you can be whatever religion you are and still be loving and supporting of people you care for who are often misunderstood/feared/& persecuted by certain aspects of those religions. I hope this story helps people watching who struggle with this.

With so much negativity in the US in recent years, this show should be shared with all and show what a kind world can be. RuPaul is a very sincere host and Adam Lambert was gracious and the guests were very genuine. I am deeply moved. Peace.
