I've seen the pictures of your masterpiece (drum kit) on modern drummer magazine (by the way i will keep forever because your the greatest ). But this video tour of your masterpiece is way better to see it coming from you . I agree with everyone that posted, your the best, your awesome ,the greatest the man and forever a legend in our hearts Nate. Thank you again for sharing your work , your masterpiece and always your passion. I'm gonna try one day to get in to watch you and the rest of your band there in person at the show " the Voice".🤞🏼hopefully wife and I can get a babysitter to do that, we're always up in LA almost every month to hangout at Disneyland so why not the Voice. As a drummer who plays in a cover band with pretty much the gamut similar to what you play across genres, it was super helpful to see the gear you have to accomplish it. Roland and Zildjian are in my personal setup as well! (And dibs on your job when it's time for you to retire LOL!!)

Added a 3 piece Rototom rack. Ludwig Ghost pedal. Zildjian pies (not sure what they were). It all probably sounded like ass, but it was big, that's all that mattered then! Always enjoy your videos, Nate!!

Great tour! I'm assuming your 22" K Custom Ride is the Dark Ride? I don't see a 22" inch ride available in a non dark version, but maybe yours is direct from Zildjian :). I am in the market for a ride an am between their 22" Dark Ride and the A Custom 22" Medium Ride. Thanks in advance.

Hi Nate, off course I enjoy your video. When i'm watching the voice i think the snare has the more pefect sound. You can't imagine how much i enjoy the sound of your drum kit. I have a question, what kind of ear protection do you use, and I guess the click track comes from the pc? You are season after season the winner of the voice!! Hey Nate, I watch The Voice pretty regularly and drummer to drummer, you bring so much more life to those normal songs it's comical. You have insanely tasty feels and fill in the holes of some of the more boring songs incredibly well. A couple of questions and some advice...What kind of China's/Trash Cymbals are you using? I see that you had at least two China's but you didn't say anything about those. I highly recommend you look at the Sabian HHX Evolution Ozone. I think that would be a great compliment to when you are playing some of the heavier songs, and I personally think it cuts in sounds better than the K EFX line. What kind of Splashes are you playing, still A Custom? I personally prefer the same exact mix Nate, I love my A Custom Crashes and Splashes. However, I don't think the K Splashes can be beat especially their 8" and 10" Dual Splash (try them if you haven't). You're Hi-Hats sound good but you should test your A Custom Hats against the 14" A New Beats and the 14" K Custom Session Hats. Their versatility and crispness cuts through any genre of music and are unmatched. I am playing the newbeats right now but if I upgrade in the future I'm either looking at the 14" Session Hats or the HHX Evolution Hats. Hopefully you can get back to me with some of these answers and take my advice on looking into those special effects cymbals, the K Dual Splashes, and the New Beat and K Custom Session Hats. Again, you sound great night and I'll be listening to you every time that this show is on, and I'll be listening for your well placed chops and tight stops with the bass player. * I love my Pearl Eliminator double pedal and dual legged Hi-hat stand. Equal quality, smoother than the DW 9000/Tama Iron Cobra, and half the price!!! I love the sound of your Pearl Reference Shells... Have you compared these to the Yamaha Recording Custom or the Sonor Maple kit? I'd say these are Top Three; Yamaha, Sonor, and Pearl. Keep it up Bro!!!!
