Hi Bianca I always follow your vlogs can you give us some figure on how much the surgery??
@@gecko1131 at this time we filmed this it was a promo for Iloilo of P55k. The promo may have ended I'm not sure. But our 20% off code for our viewers is good for one year
a real tear jerker. I am so amazed and happy to see Biancas life change so much for the positive in 24 hours. She was treated great and the success of the operation was unreal
Congrats, Bianca or whatever your real name is! LOL! Wow! 20/15 vision after Lasik surgery is incredible! Kudos to Boroughsight for doing a great job and service to the citizens of Iloilo!
Had Lasik surgery in 1998, Las Vegas Eye Institute, wore coke bottle glasses from 2nd grade. Life changing, best decision, im 68 and still have 20/15 vision and oddly do not need reading glasses even though eye doctor said Lasik surgery causes the need for reading glasses soiner. I can swim, ski, go out in rain, come in from cold without glasses fogging up,, I CAN SEE!! and your eyesight gets better each month as its healing
I want to try it as well. Vision is something most people take for granted. I could not see a person’s face more than 3 meters away and i could not see a person more than 5 meters away at night time. Thanks for showing us this procedure
Watched it all now. Congratulations lovie. That’s amazing. 20/15 vision is amazing. Way to go.
Congratulations ! Happy for you Bianca! Enjoying your channel so much !
AMAZING ☆☆☆☆ You are a superstar and beyond brave hunni. Such an amazing procedure with life changing benefits. I hope ur recovery we quick and straightforward and I am super proud of you for beating the nerves and going for glory. All my love xxx
We're happy for you Bianca. Indeed it was a life changing and perhaps a new chapter of your life book again. Yehey..
Their eye clinic it’s just exactly what we have here in the US. Good to know that Iloilo has a good Optical clinic especially with Lasik.
Congratulations B! Hope its a successful and quick recovery
Magandag Umaga Po! I hope your vision gets better, and get well soon.
Mabuhay
*_Seeing the world in 20/15 is indeed life-changing. Very happy to know Bianca got it. Just a tip: protect the eyes from chlorine, other chemicals and seawater until fully healed (which is at least 5 weeks). I'm sure the surgeon mentioned this but if not, there you go!_* 😎😎👍👍
That's awesome. Congratulations Davina Bianca.
It's great they offered ride going home. I agree it ws a very good service.
Congrats Ms. Bianca! God bless.
Dr, & the Staffs are very helpful and nice. Congratulations to your brand new vision.
Congratulations Bianca on your surgery . You are not only divine (charming) but courageous as well. Love your videos guys. Wish you more success!
Newly subscriber here guys❤❤❤ and its a no no skipping ads….
Congrats Bianca!🥳 Very happy for you! I, too, was blind as a bat all my life. Had Lasik done 23 years ago. Still perfect, but, yes, I do need reading glasses now. No biggie. Loved watching your video and reliving the joy I felt going from from 20/400 to 20/15!!
I'm very happy for you B!
I’m happy for your successful Lasic surgery Bianca! Thank God you’re okay and have restored your eyes back to a 20/20 vision 👏👏👏 All the best to you and Mike! Love you guys! 👍😊🤗🥰
Very happy for you Bianca. Now there is a song for you by Jimmy Cliff. Look it up and sing it for us in the next video.
Congrats Bianca so happy to see you having a successful eye surgery in Iloilo!!!
The staff has been amazing 👏
That's great u got life time change surgery congrats everything work out well for you
Congrats! Glad to see it al went well. 👍
very interesting vlog. congratulations on your bravery and successful surgery. I had that same surgery 5 years ago and was so excited with "no more glasses". But because of my age, now 73, my eyes went back to about half as they were before and I had to wear glasses again for reading. Was nice to hear that doctor say that he had that surgery years ago, but due to his age, he needed glasses to read. However, you may be one of those who will never need glasses again. It's a great feeling not wearing glasses. I followed your procedure step by step.
Congratulations on the successful surgery, happy for your better than 20/20 vision 👏😁
Congrats B!!! So happy for you 💚
Congratulaions Bianca! I had my lasic procedure ( both eyes) done in 2008, I'm in my 70's now. The only time I need glasses is for reading small prints. In some cases you're gonna need cataract surgery due to old age. Enjoy your new wonderful eyes.
Congratulations on your successful operation. Im glad iloilo has Lasik surgery. I will need it that too.
Omg this actually made me cry! 😭
Now let's join pray for her speedy recovery so she could back in action.
Outstanding. I'm 71 so I can look forward to cataract surgery sometime in the future I am sure
Very, very cool!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!
Am happy for her. Reasonable price in the Philippines for this procedure as well.
My name is Angel and I am from the United States Chicago Illinois. I love watching your videos you and your husbands. Thank you for sharing this eye surgery and I guess I’m not the only one that gets these panics phobic panic attacks. I need surgery in my eyes we have eye surgeries, but they do it a lot different than there they put clips to keep the eyes opendo appreciate Bianca and your husband your lovely husband. God bless you both.
GOD BLESS YOU BOTH
Fantastic for Bianca, so honest and I say brave as I wear glasses, for service you cannot beat the Philippines, I love how she didn"t say zee foe the letter Z but said Zed as in my country we do :), a really brave lady again, to add if I got the same treatment in Australia I would have to mortgage my house to be able to pay for it, why do people consider Philippines a third world country, believe me in many many ways Australia is, healthcare here is like you have previously described in Canada and so expensive, great and informative video, thankyou.
true
I'm so pleased for you and it is life changing 😀👍
I had it done 10 years ago. I'm glad I did still doing good.
Congratulations 👏
That's good to know ❤
I been treated well. My dr.gave help to my retina for a year .Thank God the red & black matters on my eye were reduced. Right now my left eye only gets illumination fr.the sun and from the lights of my lamps
Always take good care of your eyes, don't knock always wear sunglasses, eat foods like vegetables that rich in Vitamin A , eat fish cook healthy meal, more on vegetables daily and fish
Cool. Because of your video, we are coming to PH to get ours done. Our family friend doctor in Davao does Lasik also.
Good, that you have had your eyes corrected bianca and the price here is much cheaper compared to the west.
WoW, now i have idea where to go. 😊👍
Wish you all ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my gosh, I really like this couple, they are amazing… so cute. I am from North America near Canada. Anyway, I just recently noticed this RUclipsr 😍🥰
MY 2 EYES WERE JUST RECENTLY OPERATED DUE TO SEVERE CATARACT BUT THRU THE GRACE OF THE LORD, MY EYE SIGHT WAS RESTORED. PRAISE AND GLORY TO HIM!
Im 74. Had my eye operation on my right eye for cataract about 4-5 years ago in a public hospital and my 20-20 vision was ecstatically restored. I also wore the same goggles after the operation which took only about an hour by a group of eye doctors or opthas. I can understand Biancas nervousness. After all, hers was a "laser" operation unlike mine and who wudnt feel nervous when it is our eyes involved which is a very vital organ. Im happy for Bianca. I can understand the husband's extreme apprehension sticking it out never allowing Bianca out of his sight. Haha.
Congratulations Canadian woman you look brand new you
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE Philippines better now!!!!!!!!!!!!
You look good with the glasses
I chickened years ago on my eye laser appointment but hey i got a single shot on covid vaccine. Congrats brave lady.
Been hesitant to try borough in Iloilo 😢 guess i'll give it a try thanks for your video ❤
That’s amazing life changing surgery 🤓😳 No more glasses! 👓👩🏻🏫
wow iam so happy for you guys specially for bianca, really a good video, very informative for people who doesnt have idea about eye surgery. hopefully this would make bianca enjoy more of your travel in the future.
I also got my lasik 11 years ago and it was the best decision I made in my life. Going to opthalmogist and get an eye test every year or every other year was a hassle and eye glasses are expensive even with eye insurance here in U.S. (unless you get the cheapest brand or it's discounted). It was also a hassle wearing eye glasses or contact lenses while swimming. I got a mono-vision lasik since I was already in my 40's when I had it. One eye for driving and one eye for reading. It was uncomfortable at first because my brain was still adjusting to my new vision but after 24 hours of sleep it became perfectly fine. Thank God for giving this kind of technology to mankind!
congratulations
Good job mam
Bianca I had lasik surgery back in 1999 I only require reading glasses my vision was about the same as yours at the time. Money well spent.
I had my cataract surgery 2021 at Kaiser Permanente and my vision is almost 20/20.. I used to be myopic or nearsighted for 55 yrs very poor eyesight but now I am farsighted. Tnx to my doctor at Kaiser. Dr Sangani
congrats👌
Thanks for sharing. It just gave me the courage to get a Lasek surgery. I've been waiting for a while because I was scared
I had lazer surgery to open the tear ducts in my eyes to relieve the pressure. It has worked great and my last checkup here in Dumaguete was great. I still have to put drops in my eyes every day but that is ok as long as the pressure stays in the normal range. I had asked my eye doctor about Lasik surgery and she told me depends on each indiviual case as to how well it works. I have reading glasses for reading and due to my license the Ontario government required that I wear reading glasses for driving. I could see ok but the distance glasses did make objects sharper.
I had great vision until I hit 40, then my arms shortened as they could not allow me to focus as they used to. Lasik cannot help me. But at my age, I am getting cataracts which in a way, is good, because they will replace the lenses in my eyes in a few years. Have the choice of seeing far with no glasses or close with no glasses. I will choose the reading glasses. I know this has to make a major difference in your life and congratulations!
Hi Bianca. I had Lasik eye surgery in the UK in 2002 when it was new on the market and had both eyes done at once. Yes that is a risk in itself but is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The did say I might need reading glasses again in about 20 years and that has been the case but the difference the surgery made was well worth it. The Philippines will look even better now 😀 Take case. Regards Kevin. Xx
Wow! We are back in the Philippines for a few more days. We've been thinking about getting Lasik while we are here, because I've only been wearing glasses for about 2 years, and I hate it! Wondering how much it is. My right eye is pretty good, and my left eye is terrible.
So happy for you Bianca! Just wondering, if you have considered doing it while you were in Canada?
My niece had that in Manila I think she paid 70,000 Pesos while my son paid $4,500 here in the US. Much much cheaper in Philippines.
Remarkable
I wouldn't do lasik thing, praying for you ❤
I had Lasic in March I'm 58 and still need readers but us older people don't work as well on us and still sensitive to sunlight but I can see good at a distance and don't need glasses to drive which is great .3800 bucks
My diabetes mother had lasik surgery 15 yrs ago and until now shes okey. She even doing sewing her clothes using neddle. She had a serious diabetes that her right leg was cut off above her knee... Congrats your so brave to that and thanks God it was succesfully done...
Congratulations you got your perfect vision!
Just wondering what was your vision prior to surgery? Thank you and God bless🎉
I’m up to the eye test and it makes me giggle how exact this is to St Paul’s eye center in Liverpool UK ( englands best world centre. It’s where people from over the world come to train) and they fixed my blind eye. I was completely blind in one eye. Couldn’t even see a blur and they fixed me. For “free”. We pay in taxes like Canada.
The puff of air measures eye pressure which tells the doc if you have inflammation at the back of the eye. I hate the test you have to stay super still for Ever as it measures your lens size ( for my surgery). I had laser surgery on my other eye years ago and it was like watching a disco ball which obviously kept me amused for ages lol.
Dental work is cheaper in the Philippines too! Great video guys! Congrats on the successful surgery, Bianca :D
We have had no luck with dental prices here, we have a video on that already we were quoted prices more expensive than in Canada
True. I have been researching implants there compared to here in USA. It’s a little cheaper but not the difference you would think.
Good
Congratulations! Thanks for taking us along. My older brothers had this done but I haven’t yet. It’s expensive here in USA. Was $8000 several years ago so it’s probably more now.
Promo going on here of P55k that's $1k USD
Even with insurance $8k? . I"ll ask my eye MD. I know one tooth implant is almost 5k. And a single bridge is 3k. That's vacation money.
My insurance didn’t cover my implant so I have to pay $5K as well, however they covered my bridge so I only paid $1500.
@@josephineportante7400wow. I thought my 2k one tooth implant was expensive.😊
I am just like you, my long distance seeing is very blurry without glasses, however i can see up close with no glasses at all. if i got lasik then my nearsighted vision would go away and i need glasses for that. But congrats on your success.
I used to have 20/15 vision when I was young....but when I reach 46...my eyesight starting to get bad and I stareted wearing prescription glasses coz one eye is farsighted and one eye is nearsighted...And Lasik is too late for me. Congrats for having the guts to do it...🙂
I have been treated with macular edema for a year after the pandemic. I had an eye accident in 2019.
YOU LOOK STYLING IN YOUR GLASSES, THOUGH ♥
Congratulations on the 20/15 vision👏🏼🎉💪🏼
I remember when my father called me and said he had is cataract removed, I replied, I know how you feel, I just had my Lincoln stolen😂😂😂
Just a little FilCan joke😅
congratulations! what is your current eye grade before lasik?
Yeah. Had my Lasik surgery on their Mall of Asia Branch. I must say this is the best investment I made for myself. At first it was scary especially when they put the laser on to your eyes but it's all painless and bloodless. Now I had 20/15 vision. Now I can see the world crystal clear. Good girl for you. 😊😊😊
Aw, GOD Bless Gwapa Bianca ☺️
You get to enjoy life’s beauty w/out glasses 🤓
But you know you look really cute/pretty w/glasses. Maybe you can just sport them for fashion now😉 My hubby is attracted to cute girls w/glasses. He’ll think your hot actually 😁
❇️ I have prescription glasses 🤓 for several reasons 🙀 the glasses I wear are transitions and blue ray protection and also protect my eyes from dirt and wind 🌬️
Atta girl Divina………Bianca!😎
Bianca good for u unfortunately for me Lasik is not a option i have had so much metal removed from my eyes from being a welder over the yrs and i am legally blind in one eye it wont work for me but am very Happy for you and you learned there is nothing to be nervous about I have had so many major surgeries it really is no big deal but hopefully u won't have to have any more Congrats on being brave and getting it done.
Oh wow that is very sad you have to live with that from working
we have it in cebu city also.
Yes Cebu, manila and Davao
Great, I will be in Iloilo in Sept tentatively. I have plane tickets for late August but don't know if I will make it yet. Did I miss it , or what was the cost there? Guessing somewhat cheaper than the United States. I would like to have that procedure done.
What's the age limit for getting the surgery? I heard at a certain age, it would too late.
Lazer refractive surgery has been around in the Philippines since 1990. It has been improved since then and cost less than in other countries.
You visit the bgc taguig its more fun
Hello Mike and Bianca, I am interested to know how much did you pay for the operation? Thank you and have a nice day.
Which mall was this done in and how much did it cost you? I will be visiting there next year.
