Hi Jael. This is your viewer from Nigeria. We have been growing passion fruit ( both the yellow and purple variants) at home for 5 years now. You can pick the fruit from the vine when you touch it and it's soft to the touch. It should be ready to eat when the skin wrinkles a bit. If they fall like yours did, they are safe to eat. The fruit you opened was already overriped. When growing passion fruit , the yellow changes color from green to lighter green then yellow. You have to go the vines daily or at least every other day to collect your fruits. You can scoop them out into a container and use to make jam, juice or even add a teaspoon to your green or black tea. Absolutely game changer. Our vines produce fruit from May, ready to eat from July through to end of October. We then trim the vine to knee height and let grow again for another season. When the flowers dry up, the flowers didn't pollinate. The leaves can also be boiled with ginger and drank in the evening, it relaxes your body. Hope my long write up helps. Thanks for your constant relaxing and motivating videos. Our lifestyle is similar to yours , we have left the rat race and now farm , fish and raise our birds, herbs etc at home for home consumption. Well done to you and your home and village are lovely.
You are living in the garden of Eden. How I miss home. I live in the USA and believe me, we have been lied to for centuries and many of us are waking up to understand the truth that Africa is the real holy land according to the Book of Genesis.
Wow!! I can just smell that!!! MMMMMmm!! Delicious!! I’m from Jamaica and we usually season out fish with powdered seasonings like salt black pepper etc but girrrlll!! You did those dish justice…
Hi my name is Janet I just relocated from Nairobi Six months ago Now living in the village Building and farming I like your life it's almost exactly like I wish You are near me I could have been coming and taking ideas from you Thank you Inspire me a lot God bless you
Your fish is worth dying for.you know av watched you for so long long n the reason I keep coming back is coz you are living my life.i don't know whose life am living.please give me back my life!
Jael, I love to watch your videos, I learn so much. I enjoy watching at nighttime, seeing the garden and the slower pace of life calms me and prepares me for bed. I really enjoyed the visit to the market with your daughter.
Hello again from The Bahamas! I was unable to communicate for awhile, but I was watching all your videos. I have enjoyed your holidays and when you had guests on.Cheers and Blessings!
Hi Jael, those fried fish look so delicious! YUM YUM!. Concerning your passionfruit plant. My grandmother grew passionfruit for years. We never remove the vines, they just continue growing in the same spot for many years. She gave it lots of manure, watered it regularly, trimmed out all the dead vines, and added more trellis for it to continue growing on. She grew the yellow type. They were sweet and delicious in juices and ice cream.
Salivating is a must because why not😅 Yes passion fruits are more sweet when they drop off and when they are wrinkled.. Try watering once in a while during this dry season
Jael ... I have that same little tool. I have the short handle and one that adjust so I don’t always have to bend so low when weeding. I never tire of seeing your beautiful home. The lovely colors ... so soothing. Blessings ❤❤❤❤
Fish looks so delicious 😋. In Jamaica we fry them and eat as is....or we fry and then cook in sauce to make gravy...and we also cook then fresh (no frying)....so good 😊.
Hi Jael, haha I think I'll join your fan, watching your videos with food on stand by. Oh my those samaki's look so good, love ugali, samaki, terere and kachumbari on the side. Delicious! Jael if your passion fruit still has greens and is fruiting, I would leave it alone and watch it.
😁😀@9:30 yes maybe you shouldn't take some of the viewers advice! I love passionfruit. We have them on the island of Dominica 🇩🇲. We make passionfruit juice. You could pick them off the tree. I don't believe I've heard that you shouldn't! 🤷🏾♀️
Thank you Jael for your therapeutic videos, it really help especially these days is so sad in our country as we are mourning our president. Thank you. ❤
I love your home at Large. For the passion fruit, pick a plastic bottle (1litre or two litres) fill it with water and do what we call drip irrigation.dont let it die
NEVER PICK FRUITS FROM OFF THE GROUND... AS AJAMAICAN WE PICK THE FRUIT FROM OFF THE TREE. ALSO ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE YOU ALWAYS EAT THE FRUIT STRAIGHT FROM THE TREE. WHAT FALLS ON THE GROUND IS FOR THE POOR OR THE ANIMALS.
Wash with salty water and eat no WASTING FOOD THAT IS NOT BAD that is how we move on this side of the world with healthy athletes picking fallen fruits and picking STEEPLE CHASE GOLD MEDAL ALL THE TIME.

This is very helpful, darling. Thank you
Can you plant perssion fruits using their seeds after blending them. Do I put the seeds on the seedbed first?
@@elizabethmwalo8424 . Hi. You can't plant blended seeds. Scoop out a few seeds, plant or dry them on a tissue for 2 days then plant in soil.
@elizabethmwalo8424 if you blend, you'll crash the seeds. Just get whole seed, dry it up and plant in a container. You will transplant later
