    I first tried 1x 10mg astaxanthin many years ago after months of fatigue / burnout. I had been tired no matter how much sleep I got. I took the 1x 10mg astaxanthing in the afternoon. I only slept until 3am because I woke up alert and feeling supercharged. I could not get back to sleep so I decided to walk to work (10km). I did a full day at work, no naps, no fatigue. That effect decreased over time, it became more moderate. But I found that the 6mg doses are too little. 10mg was good. So I take 2x 6mg if they don't have the 10mg. But it might depend on the freshness and quality too.

    Siim -- The homocysteine pathway is quite complex. See Impaired Homocysteine Metabolism and Atherothrombotic Disease, Durand, et al 2001, fig 1. If B12 doesn't work easily, and knowing b12 ACM hazard ratios increase as B12 levels increase, then as your so young I'd suggest to work through the pathway interventions: serine+b6, folate, methyl folate, methyl b12, glycine, creatine, choline/betaine. You should also keep track of exercise and protein/methionine intake a week of so before the test.

    I would be careful with B vitamins. There are also studies that show that B vitamins can increase the risk of cancer. I would therefore not take large amounts. Furthermore, omega 3 supplements didn't really work in many studies. Perhaps fish would be more beneficial.

      @@RedHunterOfficial I think I might have a theory. While Omega 3 is important I'm not sure we need the 1:1 ratio that people claim. I was on high omega 3, low omega 6 diet for years and eczema never improved in the slightest and often got worse. DHA is amazingly powerful: at 0.25g of DHA it's enough to inhibit eicosanoid production of arachidonic acid which is the omega 6 equivalent. Then I read in a pubmed article that absence of linoleic acid resulted in severe eczema and no amount of omega 3 helped. I can't find that specific article but I found one titled "*Essential fatty acid metabolism and its modification in atopic eczema*". The article stated that while linoleic acid was elevated in eczema, GLA and AA were significantly depresssed.
      GLA tends to help with my eczema much more than EPA or DHA, but the eczema is still persistent.

      @RedHunterOfficial 2 месяца назад

      @@tonywong8134 So do you mean that Omega 6 supposed to regulate the omega 3 that is causing the eczema? Ive read that too much of Omega 6 or higher than other omega's might cause inflammation. Then, we should try experiment the omega 3 and 6 ratio and see how it goes

      I have many videos without sponsors. The sponsored segment makes up less than 10% of the video. Rest is pure value. Also, dozens of people will ask what brands of supplements I take and I provide an option because it's what I actually take every day and have vetted to meet my standards. The fact that supplement videos are one of my most popular videos on the channel prove that it's a topic most people are interested in. Doesn't make sense for me to spend hours answering every single person which this or that I take.
