I take doordash orders for THIS EXACT location all the time! I used to work at the Domino's right up the street, and my ex-husband used to manage that Red Robin.
I honestly think each Chick-fil-A is either great to work at or horrible to work at because the one I work at is awesome and I get paid $13 an hour and I started like 3 weeks ago but I hear a lot of people say that they hate working at there Chick-fil-A
I joined Chick-Fil-A for more money vs my previous job. But what I didn’t realize was they give significantly less hours to new-hirers. People who have worked there longer take priority and I GET IT, I really do, but I applied there for more money. More money = more hours. I can’t pay rent off of 20 hour work weeks. Sadly, I think I’ll be applying somewhere else very soon.
So foh people get bad hours like you and boh be doing over time atleast where I’m at. I’m a new hire been here like a month or so and I’ve done like 3 hours in overtime almost every week and that’s still not enough cuz I came from working at plants where I’d be doing 10-12 hour shifts 6 days straight so it sucks lol.
I’m about to quit too cuz the hours are like 35 but not worth cuz I just waste other days that I could use to do other stuff like one day I’ll work ten and then the other days I’ll do 4-8 hour shifts. Like I’d rather do 10 hour shifts instead yk
im a new hire and 18 yo, so part time. From my experience they’ll give you hours if they think you’ll be usefull for the team. My desired hours is around 20-21 hours because of school and they give me 25, only because I can work on all positions. Not bragging that I can work all positions, it’s just i feel like working more positions, taking actions like being a leader even when im not the leader picking up the machines and the guy incharge is away from the machines makes a difference to get more hours
i work in foh but my location foh and boh are both really involved with each other, personally at my location foh wash dishes too which a lot of other locations don’t do. i love working there and foh and boh have great communication together haha

@@bellar9460 I left I still didn't get my schedule, they weren't allowing me to do my job , the last week I was there two employees got into an altercation, and most of us was barely trained and put some where we had to figure out alot of people quit after I left the food is good but the job environment the customers don't see is toxic and horrible I'll just stay a customer
Yea. I've been there for two weeks now and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to stay there for very long... I've worked several other much tougher jobs so that's not the issue, but the lack of structure and organization is about to drive me straight up the wall. The thing that pushes me over the edge the most is having an owner / operator and executive directors who just don't get it... very clearly have never worked a full week of 8hr days in their life, let alone a month or maybe 3 months on a consistent basis. Silly operator's wife came in the other day (on a Saturday no less) and told us to slow down and stop making mac / cheese until they got the window cleared. Aw hell no. We're not slowing down just because you can't keep up. I almost walked that day. Luckily, this is a part time job for me and I'm only using it to move to another state with and have a job when I get there and then I plan to get a better job but damnit, I don't know if I can put up with it much longer.
I requested a day off for a dental appointment (on a Wednesday, of all days) 1 month in advance and it wasn't given. I asked the scheduling manager about it, and they gave some stuttering nonsense reply. Yep, I quit about one week later. CFA is too busy and has too much extra nonsense going on to deal with not having that request granted. Even compared to other fast food jobs, my experience at CFA was pretty terrible. Only worked there for 4 months.
Most people are simply not cut out for fast food or restaurants in general. You have a to be incredibly smart and good at multi tasking to make it in any of these places.
I’ve been working boh at chic fil a for three months now, I’m already feeling burned out. The pay is okay for a fast food place although it’s slightly harder than any other fast food place I’ve worked at, the managers act like it’s an ordinary restaurant and not fast food. I don’t know how much longer I’ll last doing 9 and 12 hour shifts five times a week but I’ll keep going until I can’t. Go to college kids lol.
Me too bro, it's just too crazy. I've never had a job where no matter how fast you go it's bit fast enough. I can't stand tge Frye station. Kills my back, and a lot of times they won't let me have a fries 2 person to drop the fries and it just gets ridiculous. 😒 And they refuse to acknowledge my disabilities. For the stress they put me through $15 just isn't worth it...I'm thinking of going to AT&T or something....
One thing I only hate about chick fil a is making the fries. It gets sooo hot in the boh and constantly making fries and being hot sucks. I like foh way better. Never complain about foh because boh people have it worst. They over work you in the boh where I’m at and they constantly quit back there.

i worked there for maybe 2 weeks. horrible business and awful people all around. fired me for being underage even though they knew i was when i was hired
i got hired a month ago for BOH and obviously everyone has different exprenices I'm basically be harrassed by my manager breaking labor laws and I'm so over it and I haven't received my first check too I already plan on applying for other jobs but my cfa is honestly horrible
I work in the boh for chick fil a Lemme tell you, the leaders in the back are sooooooooo petty. Just about everyday the closing leaders are always trying to catch me doing something wrong. They’re SUPER sarcastic about everything, and constantly passive aggressive. One thing I’ll give them: they’ve got quality, and take their job seriously HOWEVER, that should never come at the cost of human decency. At 27 years of age, I feel I need to get a new job because they treat me like I’m some 19 year old who doesn’t know anything about compliance to rules. I was threatened a write up several times now for ridiculous things, and the tone was always condescending. One incident was when I got food on my 10 minute break. The team lead who’s been petty and condescending towards me, mumbles to himself about “who orders food on their break” I skipped lunch and had the jitters, and so I didn’t think much of getting the 8 nugget on my ten. Then, when I got the food it wasn’t until about 10 minutes into my break. Worried that they might want me back already, I gulped it down and went back. My lead said if I took that long again I’ll receive a write up regardless if I’m waiting for food on my 10 minute break or not. Ridiculous. That, and the same dude can’t hear me whenever I tell him to drop some more chicken into the fryers, and he blames it on me every time. It’s honestly so annoying working at CFA. Gonna leave soon, so wml ✌🏽
I worked at a Chick Fil a when I was 16 years old(my first job ever). The location I worked at just didn’t have a good environment. It was total chaos when it would get busy and the pay just wasn’t worth it so that’s why I quit.
What was the process of becoming a team leader? I’ve been here for about 4 months and I plan on being here through the rest of college, so I want to work my way up. I just don’t know when I’ll know it’s time to try.
@@drpepperconnoisseur funny you ask because after 4 months i got the promotion. It's really simple i guess, just have an idea of how to lead people, whether in the kitchen or front counter. For me, in the kitchen it's just making sure breaks are run, chicken is properly prepared, and make sure that if the front needs help, we figure out the problem and assess it. Hope that helps. I've been working at mine for around 4 years now, and haven't experienced much of what you're saying. Not saying you're lying, may just depend on the store
I work in BOH (going on about 4 months) and I generally like it a lot. My pay is pretty good but most of it goes to my bills. Its a lot of stress for just barely being able to get by. My sister worked in the FOH but recently got fired for "not being a good fit". I got a promotion the same day she was fired. I'm entering into the trainer probationary period. I'm not really a people person but I'm patient and helpful so hopefully I can be a good trainer bc I'd hate to ruin anyone else's, especially a new person's working experience. I only interact with FOH but so much but to me they come across as very fake. I can't help but hold a grudge against them bc it feels like they had a part in getting my sister fired through anything they might have said about her (bc those FOH mofos like to run their mouths). I worked both for 2 1/2 years i quite because I was supposed to be promoted and kept getting promises that I’d move up and I did my job but I got screwed every time
They do but it usually has to be a solid color. I worked at one in Tallahassee, Fl, but to each it's own store. I would say being a team member there can be tricky. Leadership can show lots of favoritism and team members poorly. That's what happened at my location. I was treated poorly and had false narratives come out about me. I didn't make any progress and was constantly put in situations of which leadership wanted to make sure I failed.

I honestly think each Chick-fil-A is either great to work at or horrible to work at because the one I work at is awesome and I get paid $13 an hour and I started like 3 weeks ago but I hear a lot of people say that they hate working at there Chick-fil-A
ya it definitely depends on your opinion!
I’m tryna work there how did the interview process work? I’m about to quit my job for CFA
@@Terrence4039 it’s in Virginia
@@Terrence4039 do you work full time or part time cuz I know where I live if you work part time it’s 10 an hour and 13 fir full time
Lucky…I get paid $9.87 an hour.
Bro I came for the job review and stayed for your incredible production value, it’s insane you don’t have more subs keep it up
haha thanks that means a lot!
Fr
I worked at Chic-fil-a just under 4 months! I enjoyed it as well. I have also made a few videos on it. This video is great man.
love to hear it
This was so well made! I am glad you got a new job and hope it is working out for you
thank you so much!!
Sadly, I think I’ll be applying somewhere else very soon.
that’s too bad, i hope your next job works out better!
Not bragging that I can work all positions, it’s just i feel like working more positions, taking actions like being a leader even when im not the leader picking up the machines and the guy incharge is away from the machines makes a difference to get more hours
i work in foh but my location foh and boh are both really involved with each other, personally at my location foh wash dishes too which a lot of other locations don’t do. i love working there and foh and boh have great communication together haha
oh ya foh washed dishes too where i worked!
I’m BOH at the moment and I honestly can’t stand it, closing and scrubbing those raw pans at 9:30 at night after I just sweated to keep up making sandwiches all day, on the job hunt as well haha
ya it’s not for everyone🤷♂️
If only every co-worker were as good as they are at Chick-fil-A
I’ve been working back of house for six months now and the best thing I can tell you is to drink a lot of energy drinks and never put things off to do later
great advice
How to die 101
I wish I could quit Chick Fil A. I work BOH prep and am constantly treated like garbage. It’s really hard on my body physically (I have fibromyalgia so I have trouble performing certain physical tasks). I hate it so much but I need the money
Find another job at the moment
Why is it hard on the body? Frying and breading seems pretty easy. You can ask to be put on an easy station due to medical conditions
I'm on my second week and I've spoken to someone about leaving most of the people I work with are nice but the store is short staffed so I'm barely being trained and when they assign me a job I end up not doin the job because they always have me doing something else and there's no communication on top of that my body is so tired and ankles and feet are so sore from running out mobile orders and I'm stressed I can't go back in one more day because if I do I honestly feel like I'm goin to end up at the doctor or worse the hospital our scheduling manager hasn't givin me a schedule since I started last week so I've been guessing when to come in smh
whoa that is not a good situation when they’re short staffed. definitely wouldn’t blame you for leaving?
How you doing buddy?
Luckily, this is a part time job for me and I'm only using it to move to another state with and have a job when I get there and then I plan to get a better job but damnit, I don't know if I can put up with it much longer.
i’m sorry to hear that. some locations are fine but it sounds like a lot aren’t the best😬
Idk I personally love yellow, just because you are always moving. Secondary can get so slow lol. Our franchise is $18.5 starting out for boh
Dang, you lasted longer than I did! I lasted 3 weeks haha
lol that’s so funny!
“Sponsored by chick fil a”
if only 🤣
I requested a day off for a dental appointment (on a Wednesday, of all days) 1 month in advance and it wasn't given.
My location has some shitty management one of my co workers literally had a panic attack
Most people are simply not cut out for fast food or restaurants in general. You have a to be incredibly smart and good at multi tasking to make it in any of these places.
Trent, your comment is so valued
@@Kaelacraftygirl My pleasure.. Lol
And don’t forget thick skinned
I’ve been working boh at chic fil a for three months now, I’m already feeling burned out. The pay is okay for a fast food place although it’s slightly harder than any other fast food place I’ve worked at, the managers act like it’s an ordinary restaurant and not fast food. I don’t know how much longer I’ll last doing 9 and 12 hour shifts five times a week but I’ll keep going until I can’t. Go to college kids lol.
Lmao I work BOH and I work secondary point I’m thinkin ab quittin too
Lol it’s my second week of working bof and lowkey fw it tough, the days go by fast and I have a speaker to listen to music
might be a vibe
Me too bro, it's just too crazy. I've never had a job where no matter how fast you go it's bit fast enough. I can't stand tge Frye station. Kills my back, and a lot of times they won't let me have a fries 2 person to drop the fries and it just gets ridiculous. 😒 And they refuse to acknowledge my disabilities. For the stress they put me through $15 just isn't worth it...I'm thinking of going to AT&T or something....
Bruh at the cfa I work at, we get a free meal or dessert every shift!!
love that!
I love working( my) at Chick-fil-A. It’s a major step up from Regal and I have amazing mangers and I get free food on my break
ya, it’s great!
I wanted to work at Regal, but they never called me back 🥲
So not only is it clickbait it's a pointless video
no cap😂
This man told us that I got a another job 💀
had to do it to ‘em😂
One thing I only hate about chick fil a is making the fries. It gets sooo hot in the boh and constantly making fries and being hot sucks. I like foh way better. Never complain about foh because boh people have it worst. They over work you in the boh where I’m at and they constantly quit back there.
BOH in any business is always busy unless your restaurant is going under.
that’s a good point
Agreed but Chick fil A is something on a totally new level...
i just started yesterday & we do not get free meals ! , no earrings , no nails , im not use to saying my pleasure after every sentence! , idk how im feeling about it honestly
that’s tuff. hope the experience turns around!
No free meal is illegal
i worked there for maybe 2 weeks. horrible business and awful people all around. fired me for being underage even though they knew i was when i was hired
whoa that’s interesting, i’m sorry to hear that
Aren't jobs supposed to hired people from 16 and up???
🤷♂️
@@dekulevi936 most yeah. alot dont

i got hired a month ago for BOH and obviously everyone has different exprenices I'm basically be harrassed by my manager breaking labor laws and I'm so over it and I haven't received my first check too I already plan on applying for other jobs but my cfa is honestly horrible
I work in the boh for chick fil a
Lemme tell you, the leaders in the back are sooooooooo petty.
Just about everyday the closing leaders are always trying to catch me doing something wrong. They’re SUPER sarcastic about everything, and constantly passive aggressive.
One thing I’ll give them: they’ve got quality, and take their job seriously
HOWEVER, that should never come at the cost of human decency.
At 27 years of age, I feel I need to get a new job because they treat me like I’m some 19 year old who doesn’t know anything about compliance to rules.
I was threatened a write up several times now for ridiculous things, and the tone was always condescending.
One incident was when I got food on my 10 minute break. The team lead who’s been petty and condescending towards me, mumbles to himself about “who orders food on their break”
I skipped lunch and had the jitters, and so I didn’t think much of getting the 8 nugget on my ten.
I've been at CFA for about a year and a half. TEAM LEADER right here. I hate it, they won't promote me
lol hope that promotion comes soon🙏
What was the process of becoming a team leader? I’ve been here for about 4 months and I plan on being here through the rest of college, so I want to work my way up. I just don’t know when I’ll know it’s time to try.
i personally couldn’t give you advice because i was never a team leader at cfa, but i’d assume that’s something to talk to a team leader about🤷♂️
@@drpepperconnoisseur funny you ask because after 4 months i got the promotion. It's really simple i guess, just have an idea of how to lead people, whether in the kitchen or front counter. For me, in the kitchen it's just making sure breaks are run, chicken is properly prepared, and make sure that if the front needs help, we figure out the problem and assess it. Hope that helps. (this can work for the front to kitchen as well)
@@jackcount2562 I actually messaged my director yesterday asking what I can do to get to the point of being ready for team leader and he said I should just go for it! Thanks!

Very well put together video dude! Personally I love my job but the only the only thing that sucks about it is that my store got in the top 1% in sales last year so we like super busy and that can stress us out in the BOH but either way it’s a lot of fun!

Just curious but what was that new job? Are you still at that job now? I'm just cuious.
my new job was working as a real estate videographer and i’m still doing it!
I am a college student who just got a call saying that I got the job. Yesterday during the interview, I asked the HR guy what’s his advice to someone who’s newly joining. He said that some of the girls on the team don’t get along and that they are catty. I can’t make this shit up. Y’all keep me in your prayers 😂😩

I remember when i worked there it was like my 3rd week and i still couldn't get used to saying "my pleasure".
One time a customer thanked me for service and I replied "you're welcome"
And then she asked
"aren't you supposed to say my pleasure?" And I replied with a smile "sometimes".

whoops ya i had a good experience at my location 😂
Please pray for me
I worked there for a year and in reality you’re just another number to them they don’t really care about you , that’s why they are always hiring consistently.
that’s super sad! that definitely wasn’t the case at the chick-fil-a i worked at, but i’m sorry to hear that
I'm 100% in agreement with you on that

Jesus loves. So much he died for our sins and resurrected on the third day. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God.There’s not a single thing we can do to save ourselves for we are not saved by our works but by faith. Recognize that you need Jesus to be saved and without him you are going to hell. Giveyour life to Jesus. Do they allow nail polish
i have no idea
They do but it usually has to be a solid color. I worked at one in Tallahassee, Fl, but to each it's own store. I would say being a team member there can be tricky. Leadership can show lots of favoritism and team members poorly. That's what happened at my location. I was treated poorly and had false narratives come out about me. I didn't make any progress and was constantly put in situations of which leadership wanted to make sure I failed.
