@@Damienandkaren There's hundreds of bands releasing fantastic music, you just need to know where to look. Black and Death metal have no shortage of quality releases!
I just discovered these guys just a few months ago while being at home during this stupid pandemic and when I heard Power Trip, I finally said here’s a new Thrash band that I can get behind and now Riley is dead! What a tragic thing to happen. I just hope these guys continue to carry on because they’re just too damn good to quit playing music! What I love about Power Trip the most is the slight Cromags undertones they throw into their riffs and vocals. I was never a diehard Hardcore Punk fan but I absolutely loved the Cromags! I wish Riley’s family the best and I hope the band is coping with their lost band member and brother!💪🏻🤘🏻
This saddens me greatly. I discovered them RIGHT BEFORE typing this and just commented how I’ll be off to hear the rest of the album. These guys are skilled, and I wish them the best after that tragedy.
i remember september 89. i was 14. Got the beneath the remains record from England to norway import. First song title track just blew my mind. Then inner self. i just stood in my room headbanging. My mother screaming. Can you turn that shit down. No way i told her. I locked the door. I get the same vibe from this song. Now i'm 42. got my own place. just crank up the volume. I'm 14 again. But now it's the fucking neighbour complaining.
I've worked real hard, with success, and have my own place with no nearby neighbors to complain. Now just have wife and kids who could complain, but know better.
That breakdown at 2:30 is simply one of the best ones I've ever heard, ever. First time I heard it I was out driving. I had to stop, find the breakdown again then blast the living hell out of my car stereo. Pure bliss and goosebumps all the way. Power Trip has THE best breakdowns, YOU GUYS GOTTA KEEP IT UP! The world needs that amazing sound and those insane riffs! :D Rest in Peace Riley
l remember when i was 14 years and bought Beneath the Remains in 89. Now im 42. this shit gives me the same fucking chills down the spine. absolute destroying riffs
I found overkill's new album a bit less good tham usual (but still awesome) Descecrator released a kick-ass album And Kreator just rules the modern trash genre (my opinion)
I found out the vocalist died so checked out this album never ever having heard of them before. Instant fan. Power Trip, This is a legacy. Continue it in your brother's honor.
this is a prophecy, just realize all of the written legacies by the late frontman.. just realize the depths of the meaning and vision from the late frontman after he passed away last year.. ! RIP Riley
My heart hurts still! Such amazing talent, true thrash, true spirit, true fans, and dealing with their loss STILL. Greeve with me! I had tickets to see them in Dallas, pandemic hit, and then the loss, never been this sad and longing for more.
These guys really hit the fuckin spot. The more groovy stuff, and the stuff where they're just cookin. Can hear so many influences. Sepultura, cro-mags, exodus, stormtroopers of death...
Damn! Power Trip is such an amazingly Badass band that I hope they continue despite Riley Gale’s death. I know that sometimes it’s difficult for bands to continue when they lose a band member who’s such an integral part of the band, they’re contribution to the music and overall sound. I’m extremely saddened by Gale’s death but as a massive fan, I hope they find someone who fits and that they continue to make kickass Thrash Metal!🤘🏻 R.I.P. Riley Gale, you will definitely be missed! Love you bro!
With guys like these, Unlocking the Truth, and Uncle Acid coming out in the modern age, I don't think metal will be going anywhere any time soon. Long live the horns!!! \m/
Love these guys. Really sucks Riley passed away. Hope they carry on in his honor. These guys are old school thrash metal. Straight to the point brutal, badass transitions and tempo changes in almost every song, and overall badassery! 🤘🤘

This proves that the future of metal is secure.
Of all general genres, I think that metal is in good hands.
Metal has a really strong base it has captivated its fans and became a way of living
Thank god i was kinda getting worried.

R.I.P. Riley. It's really a huge shame, these guys were collectively showing so much potential.
I knew Riley before he started playing underground shows in Fort Worth. He dated my best friend at the time. RIP sweet boy

Fuck em...
@@davidgraham2054 Is there anything as expressive and final as a good old english " fuck´em " ?
My favorite track on this monster of an album.
This is a catchy little ditty, a real toe tapper.
Sounds kind of like if Slayer and Early Metallica had a baby, and then that baby had a baby with Death
Excellent comparison actually
TheChosenOfAvernus, more like cro-mags meets integrity (specially on vocals) and exodus
+MrRictusGrin No album is better than AOQ , ur buggin
kinda reminds me of Anthrax a bit
And John Connelly (or however you spell it) out of Nuclear Assault taught the little shit how to play the guitar.
The solo that began at 3:31 was better than the last 3 months of my life
ssj2sensui better than my whole life in general
Fuck, I feel that. That shit is therapy.

Dan Bjeffe salute!
Dan Bjeffe -could not agree more.
The amount of nasty riff faces these guys have seen in person most likely staggers in comparison to pretty much every other band combined.
RIP Riley!!!
Rest In Peace, Riley. You will forever be missed and forever live on through your music. 😔🤘🏻
Power Trip is makin the best Thrash Metal today by far imo. These rhythms are groovy af!
Sylosis is better, but these guys are great.
Damien Perez you must not have heard of havok
Kreator too
Just counting 2017 thrash releases I prefer Kreator, Overkill, Harlott, Terrifier, Eruption, No Return, and Desecrator.
I found overkill's new album a bit less good tham usual (but still awesome)
Descecrator released a kick-ass album

That's cool. I can't get into most of new thrash records for some reason, but this track really is something.
The riffs remind me of Old Sepultura
It is indeed as if it was taken out of Beneath the Remains! UxFxT!
