Great tutorial, thanks for sharing! I’m looking forward to flying this plane, got it since release but I couldn’t be bothered learning it. Subbed for future videos as well
There's one issue that I don't feel was addressed with the ATR update. I've only heard one or two others complain about this but when on the ground does the view out of the cockpit appear to be far too low to the ground? It feels and looks like the view you would get sitting in a go-cart. While taxiing I can look left and right and my line of site is only slightly higher than runway and taxiway lights, barely 2ft off the ground. I can't unsee it. That's the main reason I don't pull this one out of the hanger much anymore. *Has anyone else noticed this?*
Hey thanks for your question… I’d honestly not noticed the camera position, although I do use a lot of custom cameras so might not be immediately noticeable to me. I’ll do some further investigation into this definitely. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
i,m missing a tutorial on the inbuild checklist .. i cant find anymore more info about it .. its to bad that that is the reasson i cant fly the plane . can you please explain the inbuild checklist with the keybinding ? and many thx for the cold and dark tut.
Hi… thanks for your question. Do you mean the on board checklist? If you check the settings on the EFB it shows you the hot spots where you can click the display and scroll through the various checklists. I’ve got a few videos planned so I’ll add a checklist tutorial to the list. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
Hey! Just wondering what throttle quadrant you use and how you got it to work properly with the atr? I've watched numerous videos on RUclips for the tca airbus quadrant but it's just not working! Xbox user here!
Hi Lee Thanks for your question. I use the thrust master Boeing TCA yoke & throttle quadrant which I think is the only option for us Xbox simmers. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
I want to love the ATR. I really really do. Every time I've tried it, she's been so broken it's driven me up the dang wall. Please Please PLEASE tell me they've fixed her so she's actually working?!?
Hi… thanks for your question. My ATR vids were recorded a couple of months back after the update on Xbox and everything worked a treat. I must admit I’ve not hopped in for a few weeks so there’s no guarantee that they’ve not broken it again 😂 I’ll have to hop back in and give it a go… thanks for watching, appreciated 👊✈️
@@seven3simmer Last time I flew her, almost nothing worked right (I've flown the real thing) I'm so hoping they got her right this time. (My company's ATR was stuck by lightning in parking, and caught fire. Total loss, and the company didn't see the benefit of replacing her. I miss my baby)
I do not think you are alone. I am a real world pilot and a long time flight simmer. I have had almost no success with the ATR. She appears so broken to me (autopilot). I had high hopes for her today in MSFS 2020 and let down again.
Hi… thanks for your question. The ATR 72 is by Microsoft / Asobo - it’s payware and only available through the marketplace… although I believe you get a discount if you’re a premium deluxe owner. Thanks for watching 👍✈️
Hi Josh, thanks for watching & commenting. Unfortunately I’m an Xbox simmer and don’t have GSX… I’m not too sure how it works but I know you need to install various custom profiles. Sorry I can’t be more help but thanks for watching and I hope you get it sorted 👊✈️
Hey, thanks for your question… you can indeed import your flight plan directly from Simbrief, although you obviously still need to manually add your SID & STAR… I just like doing it the old fashioned way! Thanks for watching 👍✈️
I've been watching several videos on the ATR over the last 72 hours. This filled in every gap!! Excellent.
Hi Paddy… that’s awesome, thanks so much for watching & commenting, much appreciated 👍✈️
Exactly the tutorial I was looking for. Enough depth without going overboard. Looking forward to more.
Hi, thanks! Glad you found it of interest, thanks very much for watching & commenting 👍✈️

Hey, thanks so much, glad you found it interesting. And thanks for the sub 👊✈️
What version (manufacturer) of the aircraft is this, please? I'm playing on XBOX, I think there's only one ATR available on the marketplace there.
@@stefantatic4836hi… yep it’s the only version available in the sim… Asobos ATR in the marketplace 👍✈️
@@seven3simmer yep, that's the one. Cheers 🛩️
