Hi Camron… have you switched the IRS switches to align on the overhead panel?

@@seven3simmer I did that but when I go to the mcdu it says align IRS but when when I go to IRS init it doesn't show me the align IRS

And also I don't know if it's a setting but the throttle it like clicks so I click A once and it goes like half way instead of just a little bit it's weird and I can't really taxi

Hi Nick, thanks for your question. It’s all about practice. Pick an aeroplane that you’re confident with and learn it inside out. I suggest the Fenix A320… it’s got enough depth of systems to be a challenge with a good balance of automation to make it accessible. Check out my tutorials for both the inibuilds & Fenix A320 where I go through a full flight in both planes from cold & dark. Then just keep practicing, it takes a few flights but once you’ve done 10 or so it really does become second nature. Thanks for watching & commenting, appreciated. And good luck 👍✈️

Hey John… thanks, glad you’re finding the videos useful. To get VGDS working you need to download a custom profile for the airport… a lot of airports actually come with a custom GSX profile with the scenery. Then you need to link GSX to your Simbrief account and you’re golden. Thanks for watching and happy simming 👍✈️

Ah man, that sucks… just double check you’ve entered your Simbrief user details correctly in the FMC and you’ve also generated a flight plan on the Simbrief website. Hey thanks! Glad to help… I create custom camera angles, save them by pressing CTRL ALT and then 0-9. You get 10 custom slots. Then to recall them in flight you press ALT and the number key you’ve saved them to. I’m probably going to make a video on this, I’ve had a few people ask. Thanks for watching 👊✈️

Hi… thanks for your question. I’ve had that issue before, what fixed it first me was servicing the hydraulics in the PMDG menu. Also just double check you’ve turned on all the hydraulics in the overhead panel. Hopefully you get it fixed 🤞✈️

Hi John… welcome to flight simming! the horizon is basically the same as the default version, as you say it’s the -9 which is the smaller variant and more common IRL. There are a few minor feature tweaks… you get both GE & RR engine variants with liveries, they added a doors page to the EFB and they also included CPDLC functionality too, and improved exterior modelling along with enhanced interior textures. Apart from that it’s the same airframe as the default. It’s definitely worth getting as it’s free. Simbrief is a really great tool for flight planning, especially when you pair it with a Navigraph subscription and get access to charts etc. Thanks for watching and commenting, appreciated 👊✈️

Hi Mike… welcome on board, glad you’re finding the videos useful. Having experienced both A320s and also on both Xbox & PC I can safely say the Fenix’s depth of systems are far in advance of the inibuilds and I would thoroughly recommend. GSX is also still worth it in my opinion (although still a bit buggy) I know there’s going to be more custom pushback etc available when MSFS 2024 releases but not sure if it’ll be quite as in depth as GSX - we’ll have to wait & see! I have done a couple of Simbrief videos using various aircraft if you have a scroll back through my videos… would deffo consider doing a tutorial combining Simbrief with Navigraph which is where I select SIDS / STARS. Hi, thanks for your question. Are you using a throttle quadrant? It sounds like you might need to calibrate them. Make sure the correct lever is bound to each engine in your control settings. Hope this helps, thanks for watching, appreciated ✈️👍

@@mateusmelomarques1392oh I see… are you talking about the time zone rather than the airport ICAO code? In aviation all flights use UTC so no matter where you fly to or from in the world the time is the same. 👍

Hey… that’s annoying. Just double check the plane is receiving the ILS signal before pressing the APP button. You can tell if it’s receiving the signal by looking top left of the PFD, it’ll say the frequency and also how many miles to go. Hope this helps get it sorted for you. No worries! Happy to help if I can. In the Airbus the plane doesn’t automatically descend at top of descent like the Boeing does. You need to set the altitude you want to descend to in the FCU… then as you approach the TOD white arrow (I normally do it 1 mile before) you need to press/pull the altitude dial to put the plane into open descent. The plane will then start descending. Hope this helps, thanks for your question 👍✈️

Hey, thanks, glad you’re enjoying the video. No, I don’t believe you can see other people using GSX on Vatsim as only the planes movement is tracked on the servers, not the ground vehicles. I still use it on Vatsim though as I find the pushback feature just easier. Thanks again 👍✈️

Hi Abdul… thanks for your question. That means there is an imbalance in the fuel tanks. This can happen if you have the APU turned on for an extended period of time on the ground (APU only feeds from 1 tank) or if you have a long taxi on single engine etc. You would normally hit the crossfeed button to rebalance the tanks. However I’m not sure if this is accurately modelled in the inibuilds A320, try giving it a go… hope this helps. Thanks for watching ✈️👍

Hi there… it sounds like you need to update the Navigraph AIRAC to the latest cycle. Also make sure you’ve also updated the 737 to the latest version. Hopefully that will sort it for you. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

Hi thanks for your question. On the Simbrief flight plan if you scroll down to the flight log section then look at the column that says IMT that gives you the magnetic track between each way point which is basically like an outbound radial. If you check the flight plan page on the FMS it shows you the heading for each way point too. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

Hi there… once you’ve downloaded a GSX profile you need to drag & drop it into the GSX MSFS directory which, depending on your installation, should be something like… \Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\virtuali\GSX\MSFS Hope this helps. 👍✈️

Hi there… you need to go into the FSDT installer and hit the GSX config button. From there in the box at the bottom right it’ll show all your compatible aircraft for seated passengers. Just tick the box next to the 777 and you’re golden. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

Hi… yep unfortunately that rears its head every flight I do. I have to push forward / back / left / right at least 20 times before it settles. Then it’s normally ok, it can come back in flight which is really bad - for what is not a cheap bit of kit. I won’t be purchasing another. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

Hi, thanks… glad you found the video useful. I download most of my GSX custom profiles from flightsim.to - there’s instructions how to install them into your community folder on each download page. Some payware add ons & aircraft also come with their own custom profiles. Hope this helps, thanks for watching 👊✈️

Hi Luke, I have to respectfully disagree. The 777 has been absolutely fantastic in my opinion. The depth of systems is second to none, I’ve found a GSX profile that works great. I do agree with you the engine animations need some work but I don’t have an issue with any sounds or texturing. That’s the beauty of simming I guess, everyone has their own favourite aircraft and opinions on what works best for them. Don’t give up on the 777 completely though! Hi… thanks for your question. There isn’t really an equivalent LNAV button on the Airbus. The closest is pushing in the HDG/TRK Dial which puts the plane into managed mode which is basically the same as LNAV. Hope this helps, thanks for watching. 👊✈️

Oooh, no not had that. Not aware of any glitches either. When it happens try hitting the restart flight button in the pause menu. That might fix it, fingers crossed. Thanks for watching👊✈️

@@seven3simmer I found out when I had quick engine start binned to my honeycomb yoke and it was in the off position, the button can’t be pressed. Soon as I turned that off the button worked!! Now if only I could figure out how to make the bird complete the final approach and not pass the airport resulting in a manual landing
