- Today's video is a brand new Cold & Dark tutorial for Microsoft Flight Simulator. We're going to be covering a quick start setup guide for the inibuilds A320 NEO V2 on XBOX... Hope you enjoy!... like & subscribe for more.
No need to enter takeoff data manually - just click confirm data and it populates (V speeds).

Absolutely brilliant, but how did you manage to transfer the simbrief from pc to the plane running on xbox. I am struggling with that at the moment.
Hey, thanks! You need to add your Simbrief username into the settings section of the flight tablet. Then once you’ve generated a flight plan in Simbrief it’ll pull directly into the tablet. From there you can also import it into the FMS as I do in the video. Hope this helps, happy simming 👍✈️
Make sure to enter your ID in the EFB using the virtual keyboard of the tablet, not the Xbox’s one. Make sure to also enter the same ID in the MCDU under the MCDU MENU and - < ATSU
generate a flight plan on simbrief and go to the ofp on the tablet, put in ur simbrief pilot id which u can find on the simbrief account settings/info. so put the id on the tablet and ur set
Hi! First of all this is video is very helpful so I thank you very much for this. Secondly do you by any chance know why when I take off the plane does not follow the flight plan and it doesn’t climb to the set altitude or stick to the set speed.

Hello great video, but I was wondering how to contact ATC? because it won't work for me but when I set its config for takeoff it does. What do I need to do to?
Hi… thanks for your question. Go into the menu at the top and click on the ATC tower icon… from there you can tune in the relevant frequencies for ground / tower etc. although to be honest I rarely use the in game ATC as it’s generally a bit rubbish! @@seven3simmerHi, from my experience with the A320 v2, I am not able to tune in any ATC channels until I press the "Ready for takeoff" button in the Panel state menu on the EFB. But when you press the Ready for takeoff state button, all input in the FMS disappears, and the engines start automatically, which also prevents me from accessing the INIT B page in the FMS, after deleting all the inputted weight info.
Do you have any idea why that might be? Because of this I cannot get any ATC clearance before starting all the engines.
@@cenekhorejsi what u have to do is go a little under mcdu and there those buttons you have to click captain 1 and turn the volume all the way up then click call
I'm unsure if I'm missing something but after takeoff when I apply the AP it seems like it doesn't want to fly to the simbrief flight plan?
Hi, that sounds strange. Just double check you’ve added your SID correctly in the FMS and you’ve also configured everything in the FCU. Hopefully you get it sorted. Thanks for watching & commenting 👍✈️
Hey how did you set the custom camera views and when I fly the aircraft in the interior of the showcase view, and when I start the engines, I hear the outside sound of the engine and I don’t hear the inside. Can you tell me how you get the interior noise in the custom camera views because I am on Xbox too you know. So can you please reach back to me the way how to do it and if I don’t understand, can you make a video about it. Tks bro

Hi Adrian… thanks for your question. There’s a little camera glitch you need to do to get the interior camera outside the plane. You basically set your camera view to the co-pilots side using the camera menu… then you need to pan all the way over to the pilots window… then change the camera to the pilots side. That will force your camera outside. Then you can move it around… press CTRL ALT and any number 0-9 to save the views… then ALT and the number recall / show the saved views. You then repeat the process for the opposite side of the plane. It’s little convoluted but once you’ve done it 1 time you’ve got them saved. Hope this makes some kind of sense! I cannot seem to contact atc on the in game atc, is there a button I am missing to press?
You need to make sure your Nav Radio is tuned to the correct frequency. Although I rarely use the in game ATC as it’s really bad.

I have a problem with the plane, which is that the autopilot is not working properly and the ground movement is not working correctly. It is working in the opposite direction. Does it have a solution?
Hey thanks for your message… that’s annoying the autopilot is giving you trouble. It could be a number of things but just go through your setup and make sure you’ve gone through all the steps, ensure your SID is correctly input and you’ve set all your performance data in the FMS for take off.
With regards to steering on the ground that’s how rudders work - in the opposite direction to what you’d expect. If you wanted to switch it to work the other way just go into your controller settings and reverse the rudder axis. Thanks for watching and happy simming 👍✈️

Hi Alejandro… yep the inibuilds works on PC as well although its level of systems are nowhere near the Fenix A320 or the Flybywire A32NX, I’d recommend those versions on PC. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

have you seen the issue where the apu master switch will not depress?
Oooh, no not had that. Not aware of any glitches either. When it happens try hitting the restart flight button in the pause menu. That might fix it, fingers crossed. Thanks for watching👊✈️
@@seven3simmer I found out when I had quick engine start binned to my honeycomb yoke and it was in the off position, the button can’t be pressed. Soon as I turned that off the button worked!! Now if only I could figure out how to make the bird complete the final approach and not pass the airport resulting in a manual landing
Congrats on excellent videos. However, the aircraft on xbox is a disaster. It works when it wants to, doesn't follow the flight plan most of the time. The throttle quadrant is a glitchy, sticky mess AFTER configuration. It may not be study level, but at least the default Asobo a320 works with no issues. You can plan a custom flight in the World Map which it follows, enter the CORRECT ILS frequency which it follows and it puts the fun back into flying.
One thing though Asobo will need to make sure with fs2024, is that all aircraft and avionics should work as they do as with their real-world counterparts. Apologies for the rant.

Im having trouble loading a SimBrief flightplan on Xbox as well. Every time I try to import a flightplan it says SimBrief username not set, check the options page. FYI I do have my pilot ID in the options.

you have to type using the tablet keyboard, and not your xbox one that appears on the screen.

How do i fill out the ILS. The FBW usually fills it out automatically when selecting the STAR
Hi Daniel… thanks for the question. If you want to manually tune an ILS frequency you just need to hit the RAD NAV button on the FMS and you can manually add the frequency along with any other VORs etc that you wish to tune. Hope this helps, thanks for watching ✈️👊
how do you get your cursor so fluid on xbox? mine tend to lag
Hi Jack… thanks for the question. I have all my settings off - multiplayer, live traffic, photogrammetry etc with the exception of live weather which I keep on. This gives the sim the best possible chance of running smoothly… I also have a Logitech G Pro mouse with the DPI set to 1600. Hope this helps, thanks for watching, much appreciated 👍✈️
@@seven3simmer nice. I have similar settings. I use a logitech keyboard and trackpad, but my actual cursor just isn’t very fluid. gameplay runs fine, just wondering if there’s any setting you changed or whether you plugged in and it worked straight out the box like that?
also, question re. the gameplay. i’ve followed both the v2 tutorials which are both excellent. I found that when landing, the plan doesn’t slow down until literally just before touch down, even if I set the speed manually it takes an age to slow down. am I doing something wrong? and also, what are your settings with the steering? I currently have the tiller off, and the options on the EFB set to rudder controls tiller - yes and auto disconnect - no. Taking off isn’t so bad anymore, but landing is a right pain and just veers off the runway. I am also on Xbox Series X

I feel like the 320 v2 taxis really stif I can’t make sharp corners when taxiing is this just the 320 v2 or Am I doing something wrong?

@@victorkingma1419 I had the same problem! go to fma (the tablet) and then go to settings and select yes for rudder controls tiller, and also go into assistance options and turn off auto rudder, should work!

When I fly or taxi the aircraft either has 0 throttle or full throttle and won't go in the middle, when I fly the autopilot doesn't follow my flight plan
Sounds like you need to calibrate your throttles maybe? Not sure why the AP isn’t following the flight plan, just make sure all your waypoints are correct in the FMS and you don’t have any discontinuities etc. cheers for watching ✈️👊

What button is the LNAV equivalent of Boeing
Hi… thanks for your question. There isn’t really an equivalent LNAV button on the Airbus. The closest is pushing in the HDG/TRK Dial which puts the plane into managed mode which is basically the same as LNAV. Hope this helps, thanks for watching. 👊✈️
My heading wont chance and just follows the set heading and not the flight plan i have probably watched this vid 20 times and copying it but mine just wont follow the f plan
Hey, that doesn’t sound good. I’ve heard there are quite a few glaring bugs with the inibuilds A320. Just make sure you’ve input the correct SID data into the FMS and have enabled AP1. Are you on PC or XBOX? If you’re on PC try the Flybywire A32NX as an alternative or the Fenix. The depths of systems are by far better than the inibuilds. Thanks for watching & commenting. SAME. PROBLEM. I’ve been researching and looking ALL OVER the aircraft for almost 2 1/2hrs. I use controller and I’ve done nothing but fly fighter jets. So my first experience with this aircraft is a *disaster.* Only to find this video with no answer to a problem he doesn’t have. I have 0% NWS at all. It takes roughly 1.5NM to make any turn at all. More than frustrating.

The gpu and chocks doesn’t deselect.

@@seven3simmer I did that but when I go to the mcdu it says align IRS but when when I go to IRS init it doesn't show me the align IRS
And also I don't know if it's a setting but the throttle it like clicks so I click A once and it goes like half way instead of just a little bit it's weird and I can't really taxi
In my fms when i click init request it says “error downloading data”

That sucks, just double check you have a valid flight plan generated in Simbrief, then in the FMS settings where you add your pilot ID double check you have the ID set correctly. This is the numeric ID not your Simbrief alias. Hope this helps you get it sorted, good luck and thanks for watching 👍✈️

That sucks man, just double check you have generated your flight plan in Simbrief, then look in the settings on the flight tablet to check your Simbrief account is linked. Then you need to hit the import Simbrief button on the flight tablet. Hopefully then the init request in the FMS should work fine. Thanks for watching and good luck 👍✈️

Same issue…. Did everything in this video and the toggle gpu won’t toggle and this plane has had me baffled for 6 FUCKING HOURS.
