- Welcome along for today's Microsoft Flight Simulator video where I'll be discussing the new update for GSX Pro. This will be part 1 of a 2 part guide, and I'll demonstrate how the Ground Handling & Pushback features work with the PMDG 777-300ER. Hope you enjoy the video!... like & subscribe for more.

GSX has been pretty good with pushbacks at least for me but I’d definitely like to see them implement a feature like better pushback in xplane where you can just set the route in real time especially for when you are at a tight area of the terminal
This is already a feature. It is Quick Edit Pushback.
Hi… as demarderozan says… you can to a quick edit pushback which does what you’re looking for. Although I can’t use it as I have a 10 keyless keyboard and it uses the arrow keys on the numpad to control… bit of an oversight to be honest 😂 thanks for watching ✈️👍

What is that menuwheel u got? Seen that before but have not managed to find the name and get my hands on it. So much better than the default one on top imo
It's Parallel 42 Flow. There is a free version, but there's also paid versions.

Great video and well explained. I have recently purchased GSX and I was curious how you get the taxi gate numbers on the ground and the 575 sign in front of the stand. I don't have those features!
I'm pretty sure GSX doesn't provide those elements, they are part of the airport scenery.

Hi… I just move around using my usual keybinds and pan using my mouse. You can also plug in a controller if you prefer. Thanks for watching & commenting✈️👍
@@seven3simmercan you bind the left analog stick of the controller to move around instead of controlling the aircraft’s sidestick/yoke? That’s the default.
Basically like in drone/free mode or whatever you call it, but it outside mode.
@@Enthai21 hi… yes you can, but you have to hold LB whilst you pan around so it doesn’t interfere with the aircraft controls 👍
On PC its just alt and direction keys starting in the flight deck

It is a little strange that none of the passengers have overhead luggage. All of them are flying very light. lol Just wondering do the passengers change clothing according to weather or do they wear the same cloths even during a snowstorm. I just got GSX Pro yesterday.

Do you know how much the gsx prolongs game loading and makes fps worse? I have old rtx 2070 super usually runing at 90-100% gpu. Cpu is old i7 which runs 60% on average. Having 30 fps at normal airport and 20 fps at huge airports. Lowest fps I got is about 12-15 when there is a lot of clouds layers (low, medium, high based clouds). Thank you :)
Hi… thanks for your question. I’ve not noticed any real difference in load times… although I do have quite a few add ons so my sim does take 5-10 mins to boot. With regards to frame rates, again not noticed anything drastic, although I’ve now turned the cabin passengers off as I was getting a few stutters whilst panning around the cabin. (I’m running an i5 15400 & RTX 4070) I also have GSX disabled in the cruise which is an option in the settings. Thanks for watching & commenting, appreciated 👊✈️
@@seven3simmer gsx disabled in cruise - what does gsx do during cruise except the animated passengers and I guess some passenger/crew sounds? I was thinking about buying a gsx pro, but it seems that new sim should have at least boarding passengers feature built-in. Pushback is provided by some addon tool or almost each payware aircraft has it's own pushback tool so I always ended up with conclusion it is not worth it to pay that price for ground vehicles animations only. To be honest I don't care that much about modeled cabin and about pax in the cabin as well. I spent my time in the cockpit or wing views 👍
I have had GSX for a while now and enjoy it. Only difference I see is passengers actually sitting on the plane but I don’t think that happens on all models. Looks like I will have to download the update and see. Great video!
Hi TJ… thanks for your comment. I believe they’ve also added a few more ground handling operators to choose from along with quite a few bug fixes. I too am enjoying it - gives it an added sense of realism. Although I have had a couple of sticky situations using it on Vatsim! The controller was very understanding though! Thanks again ✈️👍
I have the 777-300 ER and the updated 3.1.2 but I don't have any option in the Seated passenger section. It's empty ?
Hi, thanks for your question… you need to go into the FSDT installer and go into the config page… from there it’ll scan for available aircraft and you should see a tick box next to the 777 for seated passengers. Click that and you should be golden! Thanks for watching 👊✈️
@@seven3simmer Hi mate. I read the GSX manual and it says that seated passengers are only supported on some external aircraft add ons. Plus it says those add ons must not be bought and installed from the marketplace within the sim. This is because the aircraft's behaviour XML file is encrypted with aircraft got from the marketplace. Even the free ones. Like the guy above, my seated passengers box on the config page is empty. Do you know if there is a list anywhere to say which external aircraft add ons support seated passengers?
What gsx profile are you using could you link it?

Hi pal, how are you getting your passengers loaded within minutes. Mine takes up to an hour 🤦🏽♂️
Change it in GSX settings.
Change the passenger density in the gsx setting

I have GSX pro 3.1.2. Just a little difference with your video : my passengers disappear after sitting and I cannot see them while are on the chairs….Why? Thanks
Hi there… you need to go into the FSDT installer and hit the GSX config button. From there in the box at the bottom right it’ll show all your compatible aircraft for seated passengers. Just tick the box next to the 777 and you’re golden. Thanks for watching 👍✈️

Hi Tony… thanks for your question. My monitor is a Dell S2721DGFA… I run the sim at 1440p capped at 60FPS which works well for me… although the RUclips video you’re watching is only 1080p. Thanks for watching & commenting. Happy simming 👍✈️
While online like vatsim, can you see other player's using their gsx in action? Thanks and great video.
Hey, thanks, glad you’re enjoying the video. No, I don’t believe you can see other people using GSX on Vatsim as only the planes movement is tracked on the servers, not the ground vehicles. I still use it on Vatsim though as I find the pushback feature just easier. Thanks again 👍✈️
Gsx just causes me so many stutters
That sucks… I must admit it runs pretty well on my rig but I do have a 4070… you still get the odd stutter but nothing too major. If it makes the sim unusable then it really isn’t worth it… it’s a ‘nice to have’ but not a deal breaker, the sim is still fantastic without GSX. Can’t wait for MSFS 2024 to see what goodies might be implemented day one. Cheers for watching & commenting, appreciated 👍✈️
@seven3simmer yeah I just need to upgrade my cpu I think that's where it bottlenecks but idk I've tried a bunch of different setting and it's also not every airport so who knowd

Hi thanks for your comment. It would be great to get GSX for Xbox. Unfortunately due to the console being a closed system it’s just not possible to download all the custom profiles etc. maybe they’ll be able to do a light version for console in the future which could offer default pushbacks & ground vehicles.
