To put this in perspective, the only frame generation technology I have come across that it close to being indisinguishable from the frames being generated natively is the AI interpolation within Topaz Video AI. Except that it is nowhere near capable of running in real time on any current hardware - you'd need a "bank" of about 4 to 10 x RTX4090 cards depending on the target resolution and frame rate. I have 144 Hz monitor and using the ingame setting for 1/3 refresh rate. So the highest fps output I can get is about 48 in the menus :) thank you.
Do you get ghosting engine running textures with any of these methods?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but when I press scaling, my mouse disappears and the Sim just freezes. Highly disappointed that I can't get it to run on my system.
Same here
Same here. Don't understand why..
*palm to face* you guys need to have your game in windowed mode or full screen BORDERLESS. Cheers.
Do you have vsync on?
Hi... I have a MSstore bought copy of MSFS 2020. Do I need steam to run this lossless scaling app? Or do I just need a steam account to buy the app and then run it independendantly of Steam?
I also have the same question. *Update - It works with the MSstore version. Running a 3080. Artifacts are present, as described in the video (flickers, etc.)
Once you buy LS in Steam and install it , you don't have to run it in Steam. I pinned it to my taskbar and launch it that way.
You need steam to install the app, but as someone else said, you don't have to run it in steam. Also, it works with any program
Runs smooth but has some artifacts at night in MSFS
The thing that annoys me about nvidia's frame generation is that it needs DX12 which has its own occasional issues. Not sure about this lossless app.
Except VATsim still sees the origina FPS not the lossless FPS so you'll still get kicked from vatsim if you drop below 19fps for x time.
I am using the frame gen mod now on my 3070ti but when i get this do i need to just deleted frame gen mod and go dx11?
no, you can use both
Using this with my 3090 card. However I’m getting loads of stuttering with and sim or game no matter what settings I use. I have a 100hz monitor and without the frame gen I get about 70 frames.
Yeah nevermind. Considering I don't even see someone in the comments using it on a 1650, I don't really wanna buy this product.
This is what I wanna see can get between 20-35 FPS with no traffic on the same card you get AMD frame gen in Dx12 but Dx12 tanks the frames to start with
Does not work with VR
Can i useit with Nvidia GTX 1050? Thank you
How the heck do you lock MSFS to 30 FPS? I have the nvidia app to force 60 fps but can't lock MSFS.
All I get from the app is stutters :/
Refund it. I tried it today and Its not even worth it anyways, latency is so bad.
@@raidends123 yeah, I’ll keep it if it gets better, it’s only 5 bucks anyways
@@LukaHoops55 it wont get better because tech like this has Its limitations, you cant make a fake frame and turn it into real one, especially since this app is not implimented inside gađes where it works with different data and is trained for that specific game, this is garbage that made people waste money on it and probably isnt even usable in real scenarios.
for some reason it doesn't work for me because everytime i start scaling my fps drops a lot and i can't use my sim properly anymore.
were can i download the app to use nvidia upscalling? i dont find the download on their website
So with Lossless Scaling say now i am around 45-50FPS on high settings, If i use this can i say get 45-50FPS but improve my graphics settings?
Even this new version is not working for my rtx 4070ti and 55inch 4g 120hz tv. even wit nvidia overlays off
how come i dont get a single frame extra? i feel i wasted my money
Tried it on my 4090 i9 64gb ram triple 2k 165hz monitors and it makes msfs into a bit of a slide show. Disappointed. Tried 2x and 3x and same effect. Using frame gen from this program but not scaling. Also tried again and it causes so much artifacts it looks like crap for me
If you use this app while playing a multiplayergame, are you bannable then?
No Lossless scaling is an overlay it does not inject into the game or the game files. So any anti cheat will not detect anything. I use it in Guild wars 2 wvw x2 mode. Also you get worse input latency so you get no advantages over other players actually the opposite. The game just feels smoother
Hello, i am stumbling upon an "bug" i tend to call it but i am sure it's only me, i installed the app and did your settings and upon "Scaling" the game with the frame gen it comes with a strange sharpen effect with some increase in brightness, not that big but noticeable. What should i do ?
working well.
Makes my screen over exposed ..... im I missing something?
It works as advertised, but it won't let me move the cursor over to my other monitor...is that what it's supposed to do?
I think it works on 1 monitor only right now. Multi monitor not supported.
My lossless scaling crashes my whole system and then my pc force shuts down instantly :/
Im on a RTX 2070, but it seems to create more stutters using Lossless scaling. Is anyone else also experiencing this?
Same here... Tried alot
How is the input lag
I really like this app but it causes pretty strong artifacts on my planes windows and wings in the external view... In the cockpit view it is completely fine, but in external it isnt...
Fine Tuning - Tutorials and you get it away :)
Msfs freezes on final or descent every single time. Can only hear sound
PC Specs

I have a Ryzen 7 7700X and a 4070ti super and playing on 1080p, ultra graphics and getting around 30-40fps would it be a big fps drop if I switch to 1440p?
I would imagine you’re CPU limited and would likely remain CPU limited at 1440p with a graphics card like that. Possible your frames would be largely unaffected by going to 1440p.
@@AirNOTT Thanks!
Will this reduce stutters?
Pity that all of it don't work in VR mode.
showing the SAME picture TWICE
is not what gamers are after when it comes to framerates.
What is it like in VR?
Don’t think it works with VR
Does it work for VR?
No, I don’t think so
dose this work for vr?
no
WINDOW MODE ONLY NO FULL SCREEN MODE
mine gets triple the fps bur it lags so much
Sadly when i tried, I got artifacts everywhere, had to refund
Nope does NOT work for everyone! Be careful and just try and refund if it doesnt help. It messed way too much with colors and other stuff. I rather stick to my good looking 29-40 fps
More stutters with this.
