Gaya's EDDM is at the beginning while sim-wings starts @3:59. Thanks for the comparison video. I am going to see what the two renditions look like at night and in the snow during day and night before I can decide which to keep. So far it looks to me like 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.
First, this comparison was a great idea ... many thanks for making the video ... have watched the video a couple of times and can't decide which rendition is the overall winner but I have both on my system and have to disable one of them ... initial impression, both versions very close but looks like the glass on the terminals in the Asobo version is much higher quality which sways me in favour of keeping that version. It will be interesting to see what the general consensus is after more people have viewed this video.
I think it is very obvious that the SimWings scenery is of higher quality and a more faithful scenery. This already begins with the colour scheme of the terminals... This does not mean in any way that the GAYA scenery (Asobo) is bad, and for 90% of the people it is absolutely sufficient, but Munich lovers can still buy the SimWings scenery without any doubts.
@@slicker55 on first impression, asobo looks cleaner and impressive with the glass fronts, but on second glance, sim-wings has more detail: the correct aircraft at the visitor centre (super connie, Ju52 and dc3) while asobo only has 2 dc3. At the cargo terminal, asobo has spelling mistakes (Fratch instead of Fracht). Simwings has little details like the S-train that i didnt find on asobo and the Blue-Striped M on each jetway in the passenger terminals
simwings is so much better. The insides of the Sattelite T2 are mostly fantasy. Textures of Simwings are also way better. But well, atleast theres now something for free
SIM-Wings does not override ASOBOS scenery, but unfortunately, I cannot find ASOBO EDDM in the content list, but only SIM-WINGS and the entire update, so I cannot delete ASOBO EDDM
you can, you just need to go from package view to list view, or press on the "three dots" on the world update XVIII to go to the details. There you can select EDDM from Asobo and deinstall it
