redcurrant in the real world cannot stand extreme heat and needs winters probably you wont find redcurrant in Dorne and the reason there is none is because it is the start of a winter in westeros during this conflict. the redcurrant will be back when winter ends, in however many months/years.

I think the Werewood trees and the magic of Harrenhall agree with him totally so they dont give him nightmares because his soul and intentions are pure. Harrenhall seems to be bad only to those with bad intentions and dishonorable characters. I think finally Daemon understood his place and role in the world and he wont be tormented anymore by nightmares.

Ser Simon feels like one of the most "normal" characters. I know that might sound weird, but he doesn't have any unnecessary arrogance but remains clearly a noble, and knows when to inform, when to kneel and when to stand up for himself. He seems like a model for a noble in this universe, which I appreciate.

Thus through this child and later Jon Snow, house Strong lives on, albeit Harrenhal is said to end bloodlines for good. Maybe his honest kind saved at least the bloodline while the name and house fell to ruin.
