A Christmas Carol By Charles Dickens (HD) - Bexhill Amateur Theatrical Society 2016

A new large cast adaptation of Dickens’ classic Christmas ghost story "A Christmas Carol"! (now available on Amazon Kindle).
Adapted and directed by Mike Poole, the Bexhill Amateur Theatrical Society presents the epic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, who wasted his life in the pursuit of money,
and is visited by some kindly (and some terrifying!) ghosts.
A story of greed, fear and love. Can Scrooge be saved or will he die alone? Will Mrs Cratchit’s Christmas pudding be a success? Will Scrooge’s tenants be thrown out into the snow and will Tiny Tim die, as predicted by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come?
Performed at the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex, in January 2016, this show was a bright and spectacular success.

Thanks, Christine. We had a great time doing the show - but society is changing and people are less willing to be the organisers and administrators which no society can survive without. I hope you have also found our Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, Taming of the Shrew and Much Ado About Nothing - starring many of the same actors and all great shows. Hi All, I just watched this production of 'A Christmas Carol'. I must say this is probably one of the best stage versions I have seen. I have over 60 versions in my own collection. This is so close to the original Dickens book it is uncanny. So sad that it was your last performance. You went out on a high. WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED!
